Now, admittedly, this idea wasn't the best I've ever had. 

In fact, it was the worst thing I could ever have thought of.

 This was a stupid ass plan.

Dee, Dum and Boris were close to the shop doors. Boris was held in place by Dee, and in front of them stood Dum, who had his axe gripped tightly and was ready to swing down. Now, this is where my idea shoots off. I ran outside, more like I stepped outside, since they were practically sitting in front of the shop, and before Dum could slice Boris, I slid in front of him and took the hit myself.

Yeah, my brilliant idea was basically me getting seriously injured. Smart, Alex. Real smart.

It took almost a minute for everyone to process what had just happened.

I could feel both Boris and Dee staring at my back-- more like my shoulder, which was almost covered in a runny red liquid. I could hear the droplets of my blood hitting the floor. But I, on the other hand, was staring straight into Dum's red eyes. He was frozen solid. He was shaking.

He screamed.

And as if on cue, the two men, well, boys behind me suddenly came back to life. That swing was just as strong as I knew the twins could be, but the hit was a lot deeper than I had expected. I wanted to scare these three, like they were scaring everyone else, but fuck, dying was not part of the plan. Dum had nearly sliced my arm off. I couldn't focus on anything; my vision was blurry and excruciating pain traveled up and down my right shoulder. It stung and I could feel tears welling up (but I refused to cry, that'd make me look weak as fuck)-- Weak as fuck, Alex, you almost got your arm sliced off! To make a point to three people you've just met!  I'm stupid as fuck.

 I was losing blood, losing so much blood, so fast. I could hear shouting, my name being yelled over and over. I heard the shop doors open once again and I could hear the footsteps of the faceless people. I felt multiple arms grab me, I could hear Dum panting and taking shallow breaths. But then suddenly I couldn't hear anything. Blurry black dots consumed my vision.

I passed out in a pair of unfamiliar arms.
