The next morning, Jimin couldn’t hide his excitement as he texted Rosalia, inviting her to meet some of the most important people in his life—his friends. He hoped she would feel welcomed, like she was stepping into a family. And he had a feeling they would like her just as much as he did.
He drove to her place, arriving earlier than planned. When she stepped outside, Jimin quickly got out of the car to greet her, rushing to open the passenger door. "For my princess," he said with a shy smile, offering his hand to help her in. Rosalia giggled, feeling like she was in a fairytale as she took his hand and slid into the seat.
As they neared Namjoon’s place, Jimin tried to shake off his nerves, though Rosalia noticed the way his fingers tapped anxiously on the steering wheel. "Are you nervous?" she asked gently, smiling at how adorable he looked when he was flustered.
“Maybe a little,” he admitted with a soft laugh. “I just… want them to see how amazing you are.”
He pulled up outside Namjoon and Hana’s house, a cozy and welcoming home where they often gathered. When he opened her door again, she couldn’t help but smile at how attentive he was. “Thank you,” she murmured, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before they walked up to the door together.
Namjoon greeted them at the door, a wide smile spreading across his face. “Jimin! You brought her!” he said, pulling Jimin into a quick hug before turning to Rosalia with a friendly grin. “It’s so nice to finally meet you, Rosalia. We’ve heard a lot about you.”
Before she could respond, Hana appeared, her eyes lighting up with curiosity. “And it’s all good things, don’t worry!” She winked at Rosalia before pulling her into a warm hug. “Welcome to the family, girl.”
As they moved further inside, Jimin led her to meet the others. Taehyung and Ariana were lounging on the couch, and the moment Taehyung saw Jimin, he smirked, nudging Ariana. “Look who’s here, our little lover boy,” he teased, causing Jimin’s cheeks to flush.
“Oh, Jimin’s definitely a keeper,” Ariana said, smiling warmly at Rosalia. “It’s nice to meet you! We’ve been so curious about the girl who finally won him over.”
Jungkook and Isabella soon joined them, with Isabella giving Rosalia a hug. “We’re so happy to meet you,” Isabella said, her voice full of excitement. “I think the four of us girls have a lot to talk about.”
Then Yoongi and Valentina, the quietest of the bunch, approached, and Yoongi gave Jimin a subtle nod. “Nice to finally meet you, Rosalia,” he said simply, with Valentina offering her a welcoming smile.
Jimin watched with a heart full of pride as Rosalia interacted with each of his friends, easily blending into their group. He couldn’t help but feel like she was truly becoming a part of his life in a way he’d only dreamed of.
“Alright, alright, enough of the introductions,” Hobi said with a grin, clapping his hands to get everyone’s attention. “Let’s get down to the real fun—food and drinks!”
As they all settled around the kitchen island, Jimin made sure Rosalia was comfortable, getting her a drink and offering her food, all while his friends watched with amused smiles. He was a bundle of nerves, but he was doing everything he could to make sure she felt at ease.
Namjoon leaned over, smirking as he nudged Jimin. “You’re really pulling out all the stops for her, aren’t you?”
Jimin shot him a glare, but he couldn’t keep the smile off his face. “I just want her to feel special,” he murmured, his eyes softening as he glanced at Rosalia, who was happily chatting with the girls.
A few minutes later, Hobi, ever the prankster, pulled out his phone, pretending to take a candid shot of Jimin staring at Rosalia with hearts practically floating around his head. “Look at that! Lover boy Jimin in his natural habitat,” Hobi teased, making everyone laugh.
Jimin’s face turned a shade of pink as he tried to snatch the phone from Hobi, but the teasing didn’t bother him much. For once, he was happy to let his friends see him like this—vulnerable, in love, and unashamed.
Meanwhile, the girls quickly took Rosalia under their wing, sharing stories about the guys and giving her plenty of inside jokes. Hana recounted a funny memory of Namjoon trying to cook and nearly setting the kitchen on fire, while Ariana and Isabella laughed about how Taehyung and Jungkook would prank each other nonstop.
Valentina leaned in, giving Rosalia a mischievous grin. “We’re so glad Jimin found you,” she said. “He’s always been the sweet, quiet one in the group, but you seem to bring out a whole new side of him.”
Rosalia blushed, glancing over at Jimin, who was still trying to fend off the guys’ teasing. “He’s really wonderful,” she admitted softly, a genuine warmth in her voice. “I feel lucky to be with him.”
Hearing this, Isabella gave her a soft smile. “We’re really happy for you both. Jimin deserves someone who sees how amazing he is.”
As the night went on, the friends started reminiscing, telling funny and sometimes embarrassing stories about their younger days. Jimin cringed a little as the guys brought up stories from when he was younger and shyer, but he couldn’t deny the warmth that filled him as he watched Rosalia laugh along.
Toward the end of the evening, Namjoon raised his glass, motioning for everyone to join him in a toast. “To Jimin and Rosalia,” he said, smiling warmly. “May you both continue to make each other as happy as you’ve made us tonight.”
They all raised their glasses, and Jimin felt a surge of gratitude. Looking at Rosalia, he knew this was exactly where he was meant to be—with her by his side, surrounded by the people he cared about most.
As they said their goodbyes, Rosalia hugged each of the girls, who promised they’d plan a girls’ night soon. Jimin walked her to the car, holding her hand and looking down at her with a soft smile.
“Thank you for tonight,” she said, her voice full of warmth. “Your friends are wonderful, and I feel… like I’m already a part of your world.”
“You are,” he murmured, pulling her into a gentle hug. “You’re more a part of my world than you know.”
Jimin gave her hand a tender kiss, just as he had when they arrived, and held it until she was settled in her seat. As he watched her drive away, his heart felt full. The love and happiness he felt were almost overwhelming, and he knew there was nothing he wouldn’t do to keep her by his side.
