Chapter VIII: Blank Eyes & New Obsessions
Michael stormed off, back towards the realm of Haddonfield. Refused to believe it.
He could barely remember any old memories, the ones locked deep down in his mind. Though a part of him screamed, saying that he knew her. From years ago.
The way she looked at him, it struck a chord in him.
He wanted to do what he always did, lock away any sort of emotion like that deep inside. So he didn't have to deal with any more pain.
But that same part told him not to do that, to go back to the (h/c).
His grip on the kitchen knife tightened. He snapped from her actions, from her stare.
And it's very hard to make Michael Myers snap.
The Wraith and Nurse watched as Michael swiftly passed by. Not questioning the dark, sulking aura that surrounded him.
Michael was sort of glad they didn't question his sudden change of mood.
He walked the path to Haddonfield, the forest around him faded and he began to step on the concrete of a street.
The question that ran through his mind repeatedly. Who is she?

You had poured your emotions and soul into your next art piece, a large canvas painted in soft and cold greys, blues, and purples.
For a while, you stared at the finished work.
You'd keep it. The things you poured into it meant to much to give away to someone who wouldn't know the truth.
You went to sleep that night, entering the realm of the Entity. You joined during a time where you weren't in a match.
You took that night to learn about each person, and tell them your fair of information.
The next night was another trial. This time it was a killer called the Pig, and you stayed the most hidden and quiet you have out of every round you were sent in. Having a reversed bear trap on your head wasn't at all pleasing, nor was having it kill you.
You were eventually hit though, by her hidden blade right before you ran out through the exit gates.
And as Claudette said, the slash left a scar on the back of your shoulder.
You weren't so keen on being covered in scars, you didn't hate them, but you didn't want them either. It's a reminder, one that people would understand unless they also went through the pain.
It was your seventh night in the Entity's world, this night was the one to change a lot of things.
•▪°○°▪•
You were quick to notice how Michael Myers always seemed to be stalking around for you. But when you finally choose to approach him, he disappears.
Scaredy cat, you think with a huff, must he avoid you?
Few of the other survivors took notice of your goose chase. But you never answered any questions on it, it was more of a personal thing right now.
You blinked a few times as you notice your cheek glowing a dim red. Sending a frown to the others, before seeing who else was going to the match with you. That's when you became confused as only Jake and Bill had the same mark as you.
"Only three people?" Meg asked for you, also confused.
Nea, David, Laurie, and Feng were in their own match. But there were still enough for four survivors.
Without another moment, the forest faded from your vision, and it took a few seconds until a place (similar to the Pren Asylum which you had entered before) but much different.
A Chapple stood in the middle of the map, unlike the Asylum you thought this place seemed so much bigger.
Carefully you walked into the building, looking around at the stairs and windows you could jump through for escape.
I don't think the other's ever mentioned this place... is it, new? You peeked out one of the windows, seeing a circus in the distance.
You jumped when someone gasped behind you, when you turned around you saw a strawberry blonde female staring back at you.
"Who are you?"
You gave her a blank look, before rolling your eyes. How in God's name were you suppose to answer?
You pointed to your throat before crossing your fingers in an 'x' motion.
She let out a small, "oh."
You perked up at the sound of footsteps, Jake came running through a first-floor door.
His eyes met yours and you got the message. "Run."
You grabbed her hand and pulled her upstairs with you. "Shh." You press a finger to your lips before she could protest.
You guess it's your responsibility to teach her the ropes. You wonder if she's in a dream like you, or pulled in like the others.
She held a hand to her mouth to quiet her breathing as your heartbeat spiked.
You peered over the railing, a new survivor, a new map, must mean there's a new killer to right?
You almost gagged as you saw the newest member of the killer group. A clown, though several things about his appearance made you sick. For one, is the look on his face and the amusement in his eyes. Then it was the fact he just threw some sort of gas at Jake.
Oh, Gods, you thought before bringing the woman with you towards the generator. You didn't have anything against clowns, but that one's certain presence gives you chills. You let go of her hand and began to work on the gen, trying to show her what to do without using words.
"I'm Kate... by the way." She whispered to you, and you nodded. She was silent for another moment, just observing you when she then asked. "Are you mute? Or do you just not choose to talk?"
You held up one finger, and she nods slowly. "Do you know where we are?"
You held your hand horizontally, before tilting it left and right. You didn't know this specific map, you did though have some knowledge that this was the Entity's realm.
She nods again, and you both find yourselves in silence other than the sound of the generators chugging.
As you got halfway through the generator Kate attempted to help you. Which for a few moments she did until she connected the wrong wires and the gen bursts in sparks.
"Sorry!" She exclaimed in a whisper, reaching down to fix her mistake. You waved it off, it happens, as long as she didn't do it on purpose or too many times you were okay, for now. You know Jake has experience with being in a chase, he can last a while. Then again this is someone new chasing us... You mind contradicted.
When the generator lit up in completion, you brought Kate along out of the chapel. It's a bad idea to stay in one place for too long, especially when you had just gotten one of the gens.
You lead on towards the next generator. While Kate followed behind you, looking around for a sign of that clown.
You held your breath, crouching low as you saw the Clown walking in your general direction. Kate crouched down next to you, her eyes widening.
You looked around, taking a page from Claudette's book and lead Kate to a nearby locker.
"Hide." You mouthed, and she frowned but complied.
As she hid into the red locker you began to run, knowing he'll notice your movement.
He did indeed see you and followed after you with sickening laughter.
If all those game's of Hide and Seek with Michael in the past didn't pay off, they will now. You gritted your teeth, running into the circus.
You skittered to a stop, hearing the soft "neighs" of a horse. You walked around to see a horse, injured and laying on its side. Though that's not what caught you off-guard, it was the third eye-like thing that must've mutated on its head.
You shuddered, instead of running you began to walk. If you left a trail for the clown then you wouldn't be able to lose him.
He either gave up on Jake or lost him. You noted, eyeing the horse as you passed. You crouched down behind a pile of boxes, controlling your breathing.
You steadied yourself as you heard the Clown's footsteps.
...
You choked out a breath as your vision blurred, pink gas surrounded you and you tried to stand up.
Your arm was grabbed from the ground, trying to wipe the gas from your eyes.
You looked up at the clown's face with teary blurred eyes. His eyes were focused on your fingers, however, then his eyes shot to you and a grin stretched across his features.
"You have lovely fingers..." Your eyes widened as he cackled. His other hand that held his weapon was raised to your hand.
And you let out a loud strangled noise as pain shot down your hand.
Tearing your right hand from his grip you stared down at your hand, now missing your ring finger.
You scrambled back, getting to your feet as your vision returned to you in clarity.
You didn't get far when a bottle made contact with your head, shattering and the same gas spread around you. The impact caused you to fall, and when you tried to get back up the wind was knocked out of you when a heavy foot stepped on your back.
You let out a wheeze, and you were then picked up.
You knew you were being carried to a hook, and you were still trying to struggle with your weakened senses.
"You're finger is definitely one of my favourites in my, collection." You tried to ignore the words, coughing and attempting to kick out of his hold.
Then you let out another choked out noise when you were hooked. You already know you'd never get used to that feeling, the pain that shoots through your whole body as the hook pierces your shoulder.
He let out another laugh, hands tracing across your stomach before walking off while shaking a bottle in his grasp.
You let out low breaths, eyes narrowed at the clown. You raised your arm, looking at your right hand, blood dripped in the absent spot where your ring finger was.
You felt tears prick at the corner of your eyes. Though you refused to let them flow, the Entity would replace it, right? It could do that... right?
You don't even know where the damn clown put your finger, but you knew he has it.
Your eyes filled with relief as Jake ran towards you, cursing at your state.
"You okay?" He asked in his quiet low voice, "I got a medkit to help." He pulled you off the hook, your shoulder made a disgusting "squelch" as the hook left you.
You sniffled, holding your hand up to show Jake the lack of one of your fingers. "Shit," he muttered, gently grabbing your hand. "He did this to you didn't he?" He referred to the Clown, and you nodded. He began to slowly bandage the stub left, and then made sure you were okay before leading you both to a generator.
You wanted to also find Kate, not wanting to leave her alone by herself.
This was the third generator completed, and now there were two generators left.
You and Jake had split up, and you were more keen on keeping away from the Clown. Evading him was one of your top priorities, finding Kate and getting the last generator was the others.
Repairing was much more difficult with one less finger, and you hated the memory of how the clown looked at you.
You have a feeling this wouldn't be any normal encounter with the killer.
•▪°○°▪•
Your heart exploded in adrenaline when the gates were suddenly powered.
Bill and Jake were both on their last hooks, and you were on your second... and Kate... Kate was already sacrificed.
The Clown had taken advantage of her weak knowledge of the Entity's game and targeted her first.
Whenever he spotted you, you were quick to hide this time. You noticed that whenever you lost him, he grew more frustrated.
Yeah, he definitely has some sort of obsession. You thought grimly, running towards the open gate.
You paused in your tracks, hearing Bill scream not too far behind you. Dammit, sorry Bill, I wish I could save you. You thought, if only you had a flashlight to blind the clown or a toolbox for sabotaging.
You ran to the exit, making eye contact with Jake before running off as you both heard Bill scream as the Entity took him.
•▪°○°▪•
The Clown sighed as he whipped up another batch of the poisonous gas. He'd have to do better, that strawberry blonde was the only one who seemed the most clueless.
He was brought to the Entity's forest, looking around. Three figures stood at the odd shade of warm colours being the fire.
He guessed those being the other killers in this realm.
He wasn't one for socializing but was eager to continue this game of sacrifice.
Cautiously, he walked to the fire. Gathered around it, was a slender man in a cloak, a hovering woman with a pillowcase that covered her head, and a tall well-built woman in a bunny mask who was humming to herself.
The Clown ignored them, sitting down to examine the newest finger in his collection. He examined it, seeing the dry paint under it's nail. A painter then...
Minutes passed, while the Clown was in a trance with the finger.
A dark figure shadowed over him, and the Clown looked up to the white mask that greeted him.
"Is there something you need?"
The gaze that was on him averted to the finger he held, the finger that'd be one of his newest prizes. He was glad the Entity allowed him to keep it.
A pale hand pointed to the finger, and the Clown glanced up. "What about it?" His tone turning hostile, he wasn't about to let anyone else touch his new prize.
The male in front of him's heavy breathing and lack of response started to irritate him. The woman with a pillowcase wheezed in a breath, "you shouldn't upset him." She said to the Clown between breaths.
"I don't know who you are, but I say you should leave me be."
The male stared at him, and the Clown fell backwards when the white-masked male lunged for the finger.
The Entity's legs grabbed around each of them, pulling them apart from the potential bloodbath. The other killer growled lowly at the Clown, pointing at the finger that was safely grasped in the Clown's hand.
Then in mere seconds, the other killer was tossed into a match. Leaving the Clown irritated and the rest of the killer shocked by the Shape's behaviour.
