" Don't even think about getting up".

Killian sighs, but listens to his wife giving him an order.

" Aren't I supposed to be taking care of you?", He asks as he sits back down on the couch.

" When you're all better, yes. But for right now, let me take a look at you".

" Are you sure you want to? Hades sort of knocked the handsome out of me".

" No one's that powerful".

With that, Scarlett places one leg on either side of his hip, resting her bottom on his thighs. She scans his face, looking at the bruises and scars in horror. As the tears well up in her eyes, Killian takes notice.

" Hey, hey, hey", He says, making her look into his good eye, " I'm alright. I'm here".

Scarlett nods with a sniffle as she brings her hands up to his face. A golden glow forms from her hands as she heals him full. As she tries to lean in for a kiss, he pulls away.

" What's wrong?".

" It's just... a lot has happened between us".

" Then what's the problem?".

" I'm the problem. Scar, you were the Dark One for six weeks and only gave into the darkness out of love. I plunged in head first in a second for revenge. I was weak!".

" Not in the end".

" You raised the bar very high, love. The fact is, I don't measure up".

" If you didn't, would I have come all the way down here to save you?".

" That's my point. I'm not so sure I deserve saving".

" So, what are you saying? You want to stay down here?"

A knock on the door interrupts them. And so, Scarlett goes to open it.

" Can I--".

" Killian?", The man asks.

" Liam?", Killian asks.

" So the rumors are true. After all these years, my little brother is finally here".

After hugs were embraced and drinks were poured, Killian explains the tale of how he ended up in the Underworld.

" Liam, how about you? Why are you down here?", Killian asks.

" I wish I knew. I spent countless years trying to figure out a reason", Liam says.

" There is no reason. Hades has the game rigged so no one can leave. My brother's proof of that. Never did a bad thing in his life. He even died nobly, stopping a king from poisoning the realm".

" Stop it, you're making me blush. So, how long have you too been... together?".

" Decades", Scarlett says with a smile on her face, " We got married a little over six months ago".

" Congratulations... doubled, from what I can tell", Liam says, his eyes glancing over to her stomach, " I'm happy for you, brother".

" Hades has you two trapped down here, and that cannot stand. The only way everyone will get free is if we defeat Hades once and for all", Killian says.

" That's not going to happen", Scarlett says, her throat going dry.

" And why is that?".

" Because... he-he's too powerful".

" Scarlett, you're the most powerful sorceress to have ever lived. We'll find away. Liam, you've been down here a very long time, surely you know something that can help us".

" I know this is a very dangerous game you're playing. There are those who've tried to overthrow Hades before. They always spoke of a-- book that had the power to defeat him. I tried to find it myself, but I'm not even sure what to look for", Liam says.

" I think it's a storybook", Scarlett says.

" Storybook? No, I wager it would take more than stories", He says.

" No, no, no, no. She's onto something. In our world, there's a book like this", Killian says.

"Everything up there has a version down here. There has to be one in the Underworld", Scarlett says.

" If there's a story in the book about Hades, we can learn his weakness and exploit it", He says.

" Alright. If you believe in this, Killian, I'm with you to the end. This fiend trapped me and tortured you. The day you push your sailors too far...".

" Is the day the mutiny begins".

" In the world above, this is where I found the Storybook".

But, alas, Snow doesn't find it. She rummages through the box, but it's not there.

" Sorry".

" Are we really surprised? That book is the embodiment of hope, and there's not a lot of that in the Underworld", Regina says.

" Let's keep looking", David says.

As Scarlett walks up the staircase to get to the top part of the apartment, Liam follows her.

" Can we talk?", He asks.

" Is this the protective big brother talk where you want to make sure I'm good enough for Killian or the I found something that might be useful talk?", Scarlett asks.

" Neither, because I already know you're not good enough", Liam says.

At that, Scarlett narrows her eyes and bites down on her tongue.

" Excuse me?".

" Killian blames himself for ending up here, but he told me what happened. Sounds to me like it's not his fault. It's yours".

" We both made mistakes".

" Killian's been fighting darkness his entire life, and you pushed him off the cliff".

" I was trying to save my husband".

" And it was a bloody selfish thing to do. He had the chance to die a hero, to move on, and you took it from him".

" No, I did what was best for the lives of our unborn children. I'm down here risking everything to save him".

" And is that really what he needs... or what you need?".

" Were you this arrogant when you were alive?".

" When it came to my brother, yes. If he defeats Hades today, he'll forgive himself and he'll have another chance to move on. When that happens, stop thinking about your own desires and let him go".

It takes all of her strength for Scarlett not to go off on the eldest Jones. She tightens her fists and clenches her jaw, her forehead creases from the pain her babies are causing her.

" Hey, hey, hey. You okay?", Grant asks as he walks up the steps.

" Fine", She grunts.

" You don't seem fine".

And so, Grant helps her walk back down the steps, earning a concerned look from her husband.

" You alright?", Killian asks.

" Fine", She responds once more.

" Hey, what's... going on?", Henry asks as he walks in the door.

" Oh, looking for the Storybook, you know, Underworld Edition", Snow says.

" Really? Well, I think I might know exactly where it is", Henry says.

" How would you know that?", Emma asks.

" The Apprentice", He says, " I saw him at... Granny's. He said the Sorcerer's mansion is down here and there's a bunch of his stuff inside, like the Storybook".

" Finally, some good news", Regina says.

" The house is locked with magic and the sheriff has the key", Henry says.

" Your evil twin, the sheriff? Hades has panache, I'll give him that", Killian remarks.

" Well, it's time for my brother and me to have an overdue chat", David says.

" Well, you won't be alone. I still owe him a punch in his pretty mouth for kissing me", Snow says.

" He kissed you?".

" Thought it was you".

" Let's go".

" In the meanwhile, we should all go about our usual business. Hades has eyes everywhere. We can't have him learning what we're up to", Liam says.

" Fine plan. Can't wait to see the look on his face when he learns a valuable lesson-- one should never mess with the Brothers Jones", Killian says as he holds onto his wife's hand.
