Hello again. Those two words were practically the death of Dalton. They never brought any good.

Gabe flipped out on him. He didn't want to believe what Dalton had told him, honestly, he didn't blame him either. If you heard that one of your old best friends killed your girlfriend from a person that you didn't leave on good terms with, well.

He felt like he couldn't handle it anymore. Hell, he was even considering stopping his routinely visits to Will's hospital room. But he couldn't do that, he couldn't do that to Will. Was even planning on starting routinely visits to Dana, maybe even dropping something off at Gabe's every now and again.

But first he had to visit Cole.

When Dal had left IM5 they'd gotten into the hugest fight ever. They'd been in an on and off secret relationship. They'd been in so many fights but that had been the biggest. They hadn't contacted and the only person who knew was David, who caught them making out after the interview he did with them, now no one knew.

He had to see Cole, apologize, tell him what was going on. Did he have the power to do that? He would just have to see.

Dalton walked up to the house and knocked on the door. No one answered so he knocked again. The door opened so suddenly that he almost knocked on the answerer's face.

It was Cole.

"Hello?" Cole was in shorts and a white tshirt. He was also eating an apple.

"Cole?" Dalton was so happy, Cole looked completely fine.

"Do I know you?" The blond was in shock when his ex looked confused.

"Cole it's me, Dalton."

"Sorry dude, I don't know- you wanna come inside? I got into this car crash a while ago and I can't really remember a whole lot."

Dalton's face fell. This couldn't be happening. The most important person in his life couldn't even remember him. Dalton chose curiosity over sadness and decided to step in.

"We used to date." Dalton told Cole when they sat together on the couch. "We broke up and never saw each other again because I left the band."

"Oh." Cole sighed, "You said you left the band? My parents told me I used to be in this group but also said I shouldn't watch any of the videos because it might make me sad. What happened to the others?"

"Well when I left someone else joined your band, it was a good friend actually. Then slowly but surely everyone broke away. No one really kept in touch after. Except I've been visiting everyone."

"Visiting everyone? So tell me what happened to all of them then."

"It's complicated, you wouldn't want to hear it."

"I do, I really do. No one has really been telling me anything and it's making me frustrated."

Dalton gave in and explained everything. He had forgotten that Cole was a great listener as he told him everything from Gabe vein in an abusive relationship to Will imagining his dead boyfriend was still alive. Cole just sat tree quietly until he was finished.

"I'm really sorry I don't remember anyone, I really am." Cole said after he finished. "But can you please leave."

"What why?" Dalton was so confused

"A stranger comes into your house and tells you that all of your old friends are messed up. I don't know about you but I don't want to deal with this right now."

"You're just like always Cole, you know that? You always think about yourself first, you know I'm glad we broke up and that you don't remember a thing!" Dalton yelled and turned.

"Dalton wait! Look I'm sorry, you can come back tomorrow and tell me about the good times. Just please let me have some alone time." Cole sighed, running his fingers through his shaggy hair.

Dalton controlled his breathing before he nodded and walked away.

Sure he couldn't fix everything but if he could mend at least one relationship he'd be good. And when has amnesia ever stopped anything? Maybe he could jog Cole's memory?

Dalton frowned and realized that he needed Cole's phone number if he wanted to contact him again. So Dalton went back to the house and knocked on the door, Cole once again opened the door.

"Hello again Cole."

"Hello again Dal."
