Besides baking, baking soda has many uses. Here are is a list of some of those uses.

- Beestings:

Putting a little baking soda on the area that was stung will help relive the pain.

- Rash from Nettle:

Ever run into Nettle? Baking soda on the affected area will cure the itchiness.

- Cleaning:

Baking soda can be used for cleaning as well.  You can use it for cleaning sinks, pans , and other things as well.

- A substitute for toothpaste:

Ran out of toothpaste? No problem! Just make a mixture of baking soda, a few drops of water and vóla! Homemade toothpaste! It is a little gritty and taste a little weird but it does the job, you can even add a drop of peppermint flavoring if you desire.

- A cure for pimples:

Believe it or not baking soda also works on pimples! Especially if you have greasy skin.

Just take a 1/4 tsp . of baking soda in a little bit of warm water and mix it until it dissolves. Wash face with the baking soda water mixture and let it air dry. Once dry take apple cider vinager and apply to face . Let sit for about 3 minutes and then wash entire face with water. Dry and apply lotion or aloe gel . ( aloe works best, you can also use fresh aloe)
