How was this possible? How was it that despite my best efforts and getting photographic evidence that we kissed, he was still with that new girl? I'd given it a few days, watching as the newspapers slated him and their relationship, hoping and praying that they would end up breaking up and I could ease him gently back into the idea of being with me. We were great together, he just needed reminding of that. However, after the slanderous stories ceased, the photos of them looking happier than ever surfaced and flooded all the gossip pages.

Rumour? RUMOUR?! I physically had a photo of him kissing me! How can that be classed as a rumour? I huffed as I scrolled on, taking in all the headlines. This was not how the plan was supposed to be going. The photos of them cuddling up felt like poison tipped arrows piercing my skin. I felt numb yet full of pain. How could he do this to me?
They'd started touring again, doing shows in Italy. So far, I'd attended every one but he hadn't noticed me. Every day I had camped to make sure I got near the front but there had always been fans before me. I offered them money in exchange for their spot in the queue but they'd refused. Dumb, stupid fans. How was I meant to be front row for Calum to see me in all my glory if these kids had beaten me to it?

I bit my lips together in a desperate attempt to stop the scream that wanted to escape as fury boiled in my blood. I had to stop her. I had to be with him. I was going to do whatever it took, even if it was criminal, to get my way. That bitch isn't even going to know what hit her. Literally. Physically. Mentally. I was going to wring every last piece of emotion out of her tiny body.

I quickly clicked on the article, filling me in on the fact that the other girlfriends were seen leaving Italy today, heading back to America. Oh how sweet this would be. And so much easier. This just left the guys and Poppy. No doubt I could manipulate the minds of those missing their girlfriends and turn them against Poppy, leaving her alone and out of the picture. Then I'd come along, flashing a smile and maybe some leg, and all the guys would be hooked, drinking me in and leaving Poppy on the sidewalk. I could do this. I'd got enough plans to last the rest of the year so she'd better get ready because I'm about to hit her every which way I can. Starting with the band.

It didn't take long to set up another social media account, one that showed just enough of my body to entice most men. I added a few photos, just for added assistance, and sent a message to Luke. He was my safest bet, seeing as Michael and Crystal had a baby on the way and Ashton hated my guts to the point he was preventing me from seeing Calum. Yes, I know the baby news was meant to still be a secret but hey, I have my sources.

Me: Heyyy I hope you're okay. Heard you may be feeling a little lonely? Always here if you need 😘

It wasn't long before he'd seen it and sent a swift reply.

Luke: No thank you.

Me: Well, I'm here anytime. Just send me a message and I'll be there in a few minutes. 😍

Luke: What part of no thank you do you not understand? I know who you are Naomi. I'm not an idiot.

Me: oh but you are. Don't you think it's weird that Poppy is allowed to stay and spend time with Calum 24/7 whilst you have to ache over the distance between you and your girlfriend? She's a singer. Why couldn't they let her tour with you? Sounds like favouritism to me.

Luke: it's not like that. Poppy is the band's nurse.

Me: yeah, who gets to spend time with Calum every second she's not doing her job. How do you find video calling Sierra? As good as cuddling up with her in your arms?

Luke: of course not! Look, I don't know what you want but please just stop talking to me.

Me: I'm here to help you

Luke: bullshit

Me: I am. I'll help you to all feel the same, to all understand what it's like to have the love of your life by you. Not everyone envying Calum. Not him being the special one who gets to keep his girlfriend close.

Luke: I'm gonna regret this... but I'm listening.

Me: oh no. You don't need to do anything. Leave it to me. Soon, Calum and you will be feeling the same way. No one will be special. No one had different treatment. I'll let you know what to do when the time comes nearer. For now, just pretend you never spoke to me. Delete these messages.

Luke: okay. But I swear if anything happens that fucks it all up, I'm coming for you.

Me: don't worry sweetheart. You have nothing to worry about.

I flung my phone to the side and smiled. The plan was going to work perfectly and Luke didn't even know it yet. I had him hooked in, wishing for Sierra, and that was all I would need for him to do as I said. All he had to do was lure Poppy out. The rest would be up to me. Oh, this is going to be sweet. The sweetest revenge. My body felt goosepimply as I imagined it, step by step, minute by minute. The plan was faultless because it was so simple. She was about to get it. And my excitement was explosive.
