Prologue

The small, dark-furred pug clasped his paws together in his closing statement. "Alright! Any questions?" Duni's red gaze swept across the small group before him. He was met with mixed expressions.

"Yeah, what the heck Duni?" The tall, white-haired woman was the first to speak up. Dashlie waved an air of annoyance; her weight on one leg, arms were crossed, and her red eyes narrowed.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Duni stammered in confusion.

"You tell us now, this grand plan of yours," Came the gravely voice from the pale, bearded man. "After all we've been through, and only to find out you've done this before?"

"Why am I not surprised?" Piped in a deep and sarcastic voice.

"Shut up Don! No one asked you." Dashlie snapped. Her gaze whipped to the short jester.

Don glared back at the taller woman. He then muttered something under his breath along the lines about not being wrong.

"Are you two done bickering?" Dres asked, giving the two a pointed look. Dashlie and Don simultaneously rolled their eyes in reply, but kept quiet.

"Anyways," Dres continued, turning back to the pug. "You mean to tell me that you've... 'reset' the world on multiple occasions now?"

Duni gave a little satisfied hum in reply, nodding his head.

Dres merely blinked, not having anything else say to his reply. He then glanced at Ddawn, who appeared to be the only one unfazed by the current situation. "What do you have to say about this Ddawn? You don't look surprised by this at all."

The red robot shrugged. "What can I say? The imbecile does what he wants."

"Ddawn!" Duni exclaimed, sounding hurt. Ddawn turned and gave the dark-furred pug a blank look. The two stared at each other for a few awkward moments before Ddawn rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. I'm going to my position." Ddawn grumbled, walking out of the room as all eyes followed him.

"He's totally pissed." Dashlie remarked.

"No kidding." Dres scoffed. Don nodded his head in agreement.

"Alright, enough! I'm sick of all your attitudes!" Duni snapped, stomping his foot to the ground.

"Well maybe we're sick of your attitudes!" Dashlie sneered back in a mocking tone resembling Duni's. Her irritated attitude quickly washed away and was replaced with disinterest. "You know what? I don't even care anymore. Later losers." With that the tall, white-haired woman waved a hand and left the room.

Duni gave a frustrated huff and he too left the room, leaving only Dres and Don. The two men stood in silence for a moment. Don then cleared his throat and spoke up.

"So... This is it, huh?"

"I guess so." Dres simply replied. The pale, bearded man seemed to be in deep thought as he was staring off into the distance with his back to the smaller man.

"See you on the other side I suppose." Don said.

Dres turned to face Don. His head tilted slightly to the side, but he gave no reply except for the expressionless look on his face. Without any comment, the man left the room leaving Don to himself.

"Here we go then." Don mumbled to himself. He stared at the ground for several moments lost in contemplation. The small man then lifted his and stared at the entrance to the room. His face was stern and his golden eyes glinted in the dim light.

"Here we go."
