Nightingale is very happy to show you her friends. She trusts that you'll not harm them, though warns you that not all of them are as friendly to strangers...

Scar/ Cub
(Author's note: Ignore the messy notes in the corner. I thought it was just gonna be a small project, and then-)
- Two in one beast, but separately minded
- Vex magic tail- feels... Calming. It seems to change shape a little to fit their current mood... S...
- Small vex wings on each side, though are normally too little to use for flight. However, they are able to use vex magic to 'build' wing-extensions that allow them to glide and (if not too drained) fly
- Big cat-like build (quad/ all fours), soft fur. Only show you their stomach if they really trust you!
- Quite protective and can be dangerous if wanted, but aside from that, Scar's side usually keeps them calm
- Uses vex magic infused, physical attacks- they seem to be sorta ghostly, and have a habit of forcing enemies to back off or be afraid
Xisuma and EX (same type of beast, NOT the exact same/ share a body)
- Both are like a glitched, slightly different version of Slyvianna (code beasts)
- Yes. They can glow.
- Two of the calmest and most respectful beasts. They still hold a certain leader-like role above the others, funnily enough
- X controls two tendrils of code instead of six, while EX's tendrils were too short and merged into 'wings' of sorts (he can't fly, but can use them to jump higher and glide downwards)
- Both can put binary-restrictions on beasts/ players, but they're slightly unstable (EX more than X)
- EX lashes out more, X is more likely to just restrain the attacker and trot away (both are still protective)
Grian
- Like a harpy
- Claws for feet, wings for arms
- Protects/ watches Mumbo like a hawk
- Can fly, doesn't do so too much because he's preoccupied with protecting Mumbo
- Occasionally steals stuff- more so if Mumbo isn't with him, as he considers Mumbo to be his most precious 'possession' (still slightly salty at Bdubs...)
- Has several stores of stolen items, though only a few nests (in important places. One is in Mumbo's base, funnily enough)
- Possibly the most humane-looking, though can only screech/ caw/ chirp
Mumbo
(Perched on Grian- had to cut photos short because only 20 are allowed :/)
- Like a shadowy-cat creature
- Probably the smallest (in the day, at least) and shyest (all the time) beast
- Made of shadows; he can only reside in nearby shade at day, which Grian usually provides with his large wingspan
- Can meow, but usually sticks near Grian/ at the back silently
- Size depends on the amount of darkness, though he can shrink/ grow with the right amount
- Sometimes travels in pockets to get to more shadowed spots
- Can't be affected by most attacks. The exception is any attacks that involve a lot of light (eg. Ren's light flare), which can catch him off guard and weaken him
- Can actually grow to be huge if there's a lot of darkness, like at night, but stays shy and tame; at night, he can grow to be the biggest beast of all
False
- Like a bat-Chinese dragon with fwuff
- Fwuff is really soft
- Her arms are also her wings, connected like a bat's/ similarly to Bdubs'
- Her wings are leathery and surprisingly resistant to many... Random things (eg. claws, teeth, fire, jets of water, shadow... Things, icy whatevers, mechanical shenanigans, plant whatevers etc.)
- Long, dragon-like, thick body, though warm-blooded and has softer scales than Doc's.
- Has extremely good night vision, but quite blind during day: she doesn't usually move/travel in daylight.
- Prone to sparring and play-fights, which don't always end well (eg. an accidental fight against Iskall...)
Python
- Like a serpent-centipede
- He scuttles either very smoothly or very jerkily, it's quite creepy
- Bite is still capable of poisoning, more so in the poison section because of the centipede thing, though no longer capable of burns/ cauterising
- Makes a horrible clicky-hissy noise when he's agitated or defensive, it's very creepy
- Has both snake fangs and centipede forcipules
- His antennae help him manoeuvre in constricted or dark locations
- Can climb virtually any surface; doesn't help the creepiness factor
Joe
- Like a small fairy, elf/ imp sized
- All bodily fluids are inky/ ink-like
- Drips ink as he moves- no legs. This ink leaves behind temporary stains, which disappear naturally after some time
- Head and arms are disconnected from body. His head can rotate in every direction, while his arms can move away from his body by around 10 feet. Sneaking up on him is virtually impossible
- Only one that can 'speak': words appear on his skin
- One eye, changes shape depending on his emotions and 'tone of voice' (he gets a literal star in his eye when excitedly rambling)
- Peacock-like tail, made of a paper-like substance; words appear on here too
TFC
- Like a water-container-tree-deer
- Seems to be extremely fragile, held together only by the bark/ branches of his plant
- Literally no idea how he functions, thinks or feels. Hangs around in the background, occasionally chipping in, but mainly only if someone's injured
- Pretty sure he's got... Like... Amazing camouflage-abilities or something... Because once he decides to disappear, there ain't nothing you can do to find him again. Except calling him with manners. That usually works.
- Excess water from his orbs drip from his branch-antlers like raindrops. He can control how much falls, though it'll always start dripping when his water capacity is full. When it isn't full, no natural drips occur.
- His water has amazing healing properties, though he has a set amount of it. This amount takes a few minutes to a day to regenerate (usually an hour or so is used per day)
Stress
- Like a bear-fwuff-ice-creature
- Bottom jaw and claws are completely iced, has giant white fwuff and the big 'heat radius' around her is always partially chilly.
- Said jaw and claws can also damage metal (as Doc and Jevin can confirm...)
- However, her actual body temperature is quite warm, and her fwuff is very good at maintaining heat
- Antennae sense drops in temperature (only) and coming precipitation
- One of the nicest beasts, though she looks really scary- she is still protective though
- Thin body, walks on two legs... Claws...?
Jevin
- Literally a giant slime thing
- Can take the shape of pretty much anything, and any container
- Needs to absorb water every so often, though can hold a huge amount of it. The more he holds, the bigger he gets- he can grow to be just taller than the average acacia tree. Mumbo is the only one that is technically larger than him (at night)
- Instantly turns lava into obsidian or cobblestone (when this happens to lava Tango's relaxing in, Tango becomes less than pleased...)
- Shrinks slowly over time/ as he loses water. If he doesn't take in any water at all, he can stay conscious for about three days (we don't know how long until he dies, and we don't want to test it)
- Can spew water at any temperature (from freezing to scalding)
- Can carry (also steal...) stuff in his body (you can also see it once inside. It'll be slightly slimy when you remove it though)
Tango
- Like a phoenix-dragonfly
- Breathes fire, always sorta warm
- The more he uses/ used his fire-breathing abilities, the hotter he gets (seriously. If he's been pyromaniacking, you can feel the heat-waves coming off of him without even touching his skin)
- Scaley boi with feathers on his wings and a feathery tail; it's his scales that get hot, so his feathers and bug wings are always fine
- Has six delicate wings and can use them. He can hover perfectly still, rotate 360 degrees, fly backwards, upside down, sideways and vertically up or down ('beat that, Grian')
- He can also set his own wings on fire and blaze through the sky or literally do a fire charge, but it takes a lot of energy to do so
- If he's agitated, he will occasionally start fires. He also starts fires if he's too cold. Or just feels like it
- Likes sitting in fire or lava to relax. Campfires are fine, but he doesn't like getting up to refuel them
- Don't know if he can be 'reborn', don't want to test it
Biffa
- Like an electric-fishy-okapi thing
- Can breath air and water, but prefers air
- Being kicked by his hooves (front or back) is not fun, especially as there are two sharp and retractable/ extendable fins on the back of each one. These fins retract around his bones, but as soon as they become dry, they become knife-like
- The fins, since they need to be dry to become sharp, can't slice in water. There, they simply help in making sharp turns
- His back fin has extremely bright colouring, and is translucent to boot. As light passes through it (water/ land), it serves as both a scare tactic and makes moving up and down in water easier (the fin, not the light)
- He can generate electricity! His natural electricity is enough to stun a player for an extended period of time. You can tell how much electricity he's currently storing by seeing how bright his anglerfish-like light is
- Even though he's semi-aquatic, electricity doesn't harm him. In fact, it's what helps to 'charge' him: once he's had a blast of electricity (from any means, including leeching off of redstone...), he can shoot it back out at his attacker. Once combined with his natural electricity, this creates an even more powerful attack; these will always use up all of his stored electricity
- He can only hold a set amount of electricity before he's forced to let it go anyway: this amount is three lightning bolts, thus far
- Because of that, he mainly uses his physical attacks... Unless Doc gets involved...
Doc
- Like a cyborg-dragon
- The bot parts are embedded into his skin, like normal
- Doesn't breathe fire- instead, he can shoot out bolts of electricity. These can range from teeny static tingles to shockingly deadly attacks (Biffa is immune to this: he gets 'charged' instead of being injured. Biffa is more powerful in the electricity section)
- Immune to explosions
- He won't die in the rain, but it makes him vulnerable to electricity. However, it also makes his electrical attacks more powerful (equal to Biffa at two lighting strikes!)
- Short tempered and unhesitating, can attack just as well physically
- He has a blade-like tail made of metal- definitely sharp enough to impale one to death
Zedaph
- Like a fluffy-massive-bug
- He's so cute and light. But so roundish. Like, there's Impulse and Tango being sorta terrifying and then there's just... Bam
- Wooly, fluffy, and with massive, shiny, bug eyes
- Has extremely long, string-like and surprisingly strong tongues. The exact number is to be determined- possibly around 10... Or more...
- Wings flap extremely quickly; if they stop, he drops out of the sky. Luckily, he doesn't seem to take any sort of fall damage (a scary incident with Wels proved that)
- His butt glows
Wels
- Like a lizard-bug-thingy
- Has two mouths that both bite
- The first comes with a trap-jaw, that opens when his actual mouth closes and vice-versa
- The second is on his stomach, has a long tongue and much more, sharper teeth
- Delicate butterfly wings; he can only fly in gentle to normal winds, and only to a certain height and speed
- Six arms; they can each move individually, but it's easier for him to use them in pairs
- Has a hard stinger- injects a special sort of poison that 'freezes'/ paralyses a victim for a certain amount of time. This can range from a few minutes to a few hours (he can also sting creatures in mid-air, as a scary incident with Zed revealed...)
Iskall
- Like circus-magic-ball-thingy
- Floats above the ground and seems to be able to control gravity to an extent. He can't crush/ attempt to crush anything living, and can only make objects float as high as he can see. That being said, there's nothing stopping him from dropping living objects from a great height
- Looks thin and barely connected together, but do not underestimate his strength: he's one of the strongest beasts, with physical strength on par with Doc and magical strength on par with (if not possibly surpassing!) Biffa
- Has five balls made of a strange material- like shiny/ smooth obsidian; dense, but light. They can retain heat and coolness for some time (he really doesn't like it when you try and fry eggs on them. It works, granted, but Iskall got quite... Upset... With him...)
- He floats said balls with him at all times and controls them telepathically, using them to ensnare and attack (if moving fast enough, they can become almost unstoppable)
- If even one of his balls are missing or damaged in anyway, Iskall gets really angry. Yet he can always locate them, and they seem to regenerate 'health' when around him.
- His balls seem to be the only thing he can fully move and control entirely by his own will; anything else, he can only affect the gravity on
Ren
- Like a reflective/ mirror-wolf
- The spots on both his tails, his six antenna and his eyes all glow. His blood also glows
- Three eyes, but they can only focus on one thing at once
- Fur is floofy, but you may or may not get some glowy stuff on you if you hug him (lasts only for a few minutes). We were enlightened about this after observing Joe do so
- Can alter how bright his light-level is, but it's usually constant in the night
- Stuns with blinding flashes of light, then attacks you physically. This strategy works even in the day.
- If he bites or claws you, you will gain something similar to the glowing enchantment/ effect- this makes him ideal for group attacks, seeing as he isn't as strong on his own
Cleo
- Like an undead-puppet
- Incredibly tall, and can walk on two legs or four (usually walks with two, runs with four)
- Her ribs are exposed, along with her beating heart. Her entire head is also but a skull. Fortunately for us, nothing (else?) too gory can be seen- the rest of her innards seem to be covered by extremely strong muscle
- The rest of her fragile body-structure is protected by some sort of strange material. It's like soft fur/ feathers, yet if she's on the defence, it can harden and poof up (like a porcupine's quills)
- Seems to be able to spot those in disguise, camouflage or hiding much easier- she immediately stares at them (and grabs them sometimes, as Bdubs found out...)
- Anything she eats/ ingests is turned into a special corrosive poison. It's quite powerful, and she can spit it at whomever she wants, though the more poison there is, the faster it'll corrode/ hurt
- Her poison loses its corrosive effects after a few seconds, but will remain poisonous. Cleo is capable of 'reusing' old poison to make new poison
- Immune to all poisons; she's usually the one that tests to see if food is safe. If not, she can just spit it back out as her own poison
Impulse
- Like a spider-mantis
- Body is light, but sturdy, sorta woody
- Entices prey in by rubbing his two front legs together (mainly); each leg creates noise of a different pitch
- Slices with his front legs
- Can create or manipulate the way plants move/ develop using his 'sounds'- with Keralis, they can use an armada of plants to their advantage
- He likes picking flowers- he likes poppies the most so far
Keralis
- Like a boosh-cockatrice
- No eyes (very eye-ronic)- he uses his two planty feelers, his 'root' and his other senses to move about
- Really likes other flowery and bug-like beasts (eg. TFC, Impulse, Tango, Zed etc.) or just plants in general
- Has insane spacial awareness, rivalling Python's, and heightened senses (possibly to help with his lack of sight)
- His feelers don't extend or retract, but they can feel textures and physical properties much like that of antennae or hands
- Gets his energy from light. He favours sunlight the most, but most other light sources are fine too (fire is a little dangerous for him, as Tango, Jevin and TFC found out...)
- Can plant himself into the ground, or camouflage into nearby foliage
- Can use his store of light-energy to rapidly grow/ create/ affect plants, both non-magical and magical. The more powerful/ plentiful the plant, the more energy it'll take to create
- Has a 'blooming' cycle in which he sprouts flowers and becomes extra leafy; he also gets a power buff
Bdubs
- Like a sugar glider-kitty pup
- Strong back legs- he can jump and cling to/climb tall buildings with his claws
- He can't fly, but he can glide. Has used this to his advantage several times before by 'stealing' Mumbo away during daylight hours (Grian still doesn't completely trust him...)
- Quite agile, and requires the most food out of everyone (luckily, he's also omnivorous, but hates tomatoes...)
- Clings onto high, hanging structures when asleep, threatened or hiding

Oh, by the way... Nightingale talking about the 'friends' she knows has inspired some of the beasts to give little trinkets to their friends.
At the time of these photos, Nightingale ha counted five different 'friendship-bracelet' like items. I wonder if chu guys can spot them all ;3?
