₊❏❜ ⋮ ⌒ MAYBE IT WAS ... the way it was all supposed to be. Everything they've been through, all the trouble and pain, the struggles and the fights. Maybe Charli, Kohana and Zay being taken and having to be rescued: maybe that's just what was supposed to happen. It's possible that they would have never found Beth if it wasn't for the fact that they had been taken. Maybe Adi, Kat, Liam and Dally would have never met Daryl and Rick, their group if it wasn't for the kidnapping of their friends.

Like I said, maybe it was the way it was all supposed to be. But would we know for sure? Could it have been different? Could thinks have been changed by different actions? Is this all a domino affect that they aren't aware of?

Would it have been different if someone else had been kidnapped? If it was Liam, Dally, Kat and Adi that had suffered the kidnapping no one asked for. Would they have been violent? Would they have believed that Dawn and the people that took them were up to no good? Or would they believe that Dawn and her group were saviours trying to save them, from people that were family?

Would the injured they saw in the mirror be real? Or would they know that Dawn and her minions had caused them to make them believe? Would they feed into the lies on their dinner plate? Or would they push them away because they know the truth?

Would Dally fight until she couldn't? Until there was no more fight left in her? Would she die trying to get to her friends? Would she make sure everyone else got out before she did? Or would she pretend to be on Dawns side, only pretending though, because deep down she knew she could take the woman down?

What about Liam. Would he find a way to make his now enemies fall to the floor in shock? Or would he pretend as well? Would he actually fall into the trap that had been hidden? Or would he sneak past it and let someone else step in it? Would he fight too?

Kat and Adi. Would they do fight too? Or would they let the others fight for them? Would they stand up and make a difference in getting home? Or would they let the world and its lies consume them?

If they had been kidnapped, than would Charli take Daryl and Rick up on their offer? Or would he have been stubborn and try to find his friends without them? Would Charli have survived knowing that he could have done more to stop his family from being taken?

And Kohana. Would she have gone with Daryl? Would she have asked them hundred of questions about who they were and the world they were in? Would she have believed them when she told them everything? Or would it all have been different. Would Kohana step up and be the leader well Charli probably freaked out?

And Zay. He's only a kid, but he's taking on so much responsibility. Would he take on more? Would he learn the ways of the world he was now in? Would he make friends with Carl, the sheriffs son? Would he have to be the one to hold a knife and stab it into the head of a dead one? Or would he be a kid?

Would things truly have been different if it was someone else who was kidnapped? Would it have been different if it was someone else who Daryl and Rick convinced to come back with them?

what would be different? how can it be changed? what if . . . ?

i wrote this in less than an hour! it's kinda a whole au/what if chapter since i was watching marvels what if again. it kinda just made my brain work a way and this is what i wrote. the next chapter will pick up right after chapter eight, so mainly this is a filler!
