Sayonara, my Middle School life
My high school life started differently. Since the high school was a bit far away, I went to school much earlier and came home later. I had the first genuine friends, who treated me beyond my stuttering. I started to play volleyball, and joined the school club, helped out at my grandpa's restaurant every weekend.
And when I was at home, the house chores, Joe and Nicky kept me busy.
My middle school life seemed to be the farthest thing in my concern. It wasn't until my cousin Brandon my age came by when we had a small memorial ceremony of our granny, I suddenly realized that.
"Jay, you were super popular in middle school, right?"
I told him that it was quite opposite of that. However, Brandon told me how sometimes people struck a conversation and asked him about me.
"Especially one girl, her name's Gracie. She looked so shocked when she heard my last name"
He asked me if I still kept in touch with my old friends, but I shook my head. I accidentally dropped my phone in the park pond last summer. I made a new LINE account with my new phone number.
My choice was to not remember my middle school life.
