It took another 3 hours for Peter's vital signs to stabilize. May stopped by at the Tower to take care of him for a bit but soon had to go back with her work. Tony and Natasha wouldn't leave Peter's side not for a second, causing Steve had to bring some food for them and Bruce, even though knowing they couldn't swallow anything right now. 

_ He seems better. His skin has healed, steadier breath, still has a fever ?

Tony stressfully looks at the screen displaying the kid's health condition. His heart literally was stopped 3 times, when Peter encoutered allergy shocks for the past few hours. 

_ Yeah, you can bring him back to his room 30 minutes later. It's quite cold in here so it's better to rest there. 

Bruce checks the kid's condition over and over to make sure that he's completely alright. The risky stage has passed so he only needs to recover now. His cure is getting there but he still needs to test its efficacy and assures that there's no side effects. 

Peter slowly opens his eyes and tries to snuggle into his blanket. His body is extremely hot and sweaty but he keeps shivering because of the coldness. Tony rushes in when he heard Friday informed that Peter has awaken, to see the boy curl into a tiny ball under the thick blanket.

_ Hey kid, you feeling alright ?

Tony kneels down and softly mutters to comfort the boy.

_ Nooo.. I feel worst.. 

He whimpers back which breaks his mentor's heart. Peter hasn't been sick for a year so of course he had forgotten how it felt like. And now, he goes through every stage, worst to way way worst, of every diseases. 

_ Still, you have to eat something. Your metabolism won't be able to hold that long since your body is very weak now. 

_ Noo.. pleaseee, I can't swallow anything.. 

His voice sounds a bit blocked and cracked a bit. Tony's pretty sure the kid has just teared up. 

_ May stopped by and she's very worried. She cooked you something too, saying it's your favorite whenever you got sick. 

The silent lasted for 5 minutes when Peter finally slowly pops his head out of the blanket. Tony frowns hard at his red nose and swollen eyes, his cheek is also pinkish due to the fever. 

_ Can you walk to the dinner room ? Bruce said you do need a bit of exercise.

Tony mildly asks the kid who now sitting on his bed with blanket wrapping over his head. 

Second later, the whole team nervously stand up when their precious boy carefully steps out of the elavator with his blanket. Pepper then, runs over and gives the boy a tight hug. 

_ Oh sweetheart, thanks goodness you're ok..

Pepper throbbingly fondles his hair, looking at those round glistening bambi eyes. 

_ I'll warm up your food. Can you get to the table ?

The little boy nods slightly and goes to his seat. Everyone gathers around too, so that he doesn't feel lonely. 

_ You seriously have just stabbed all of our hearts there, Petie. 

Wanda strokes his hair a bit then goes to sit in front of him, she even uses her magic to soothe his pain a bit. She couldn't do that to him when he was in a coma back then. 

_ How are you feeling ?

Nat comes and checks his temperature, aching because of his teary eyes. That look, can kill hundreds and be able to make her kill thousands if she has to claim. 

Peter gently nods, he tries not to move so much 'cause his body is soring. The kid looks at the warm bowl in front of him, it's beef porridge. He remembers May used to make this for him all the time when he's sick, from a little kid till he became Spiderman. He missed it so much, when it warmed him up and how May would always give him a hug and stay with him till he fell asleep. 

_ Can I watch something before sleep please ? I think I sleep too much today.

Peter looks up from his finished meal and gives Pepper his puppy glistening eyes. Well he can never stop moving for more than 3 minutes, so laying and sleeping is killing his soul right there. 

_ Fine, you can but not too much. Go to bed right when you feel unwell, ok?

Pepper gives the kid a cheek's peck and hands him to Tony. 

_ Ok, what movie do you want to watch, kiddo ?

Tony drops himself next to Peter, who is sitting with his legs folded close to his chest and blanket wrapped around him. The grownup looks through the kid's favorite movie list, thinking about what he would watch when he's sick. 

_ Home alone ?

Peter rapidly nods when he heard his mentor's suggestion, but immediately regrets when the headache hits him. He winces in pain, causing everyone around him flinch hard.

_ Urgg.. I hate being sick.. 

The kid unconsciously tears up and whines softly in his pain. 

_ You'll be better tomorrow. Bruce has been working on your cure. 

Steve fairly comforts Peter with his concerned look. 

_ I've been crying for hours and I can't stop. Like a leaked tap !

Peter annoyingly slips out a tiny wail and buries his teary eyes in the blanket. 

_ One will be the allergy reaction and the other is because your body's in pain. It's normal, kiddo. 

Tony puts his arm around the little fluffy ball. Actually there's the third reason, that this kid is just a cry-baby. But now it's not really the right time to tease, Pepper will kill him. 

The team has watched for an hour then realise that the youngest has fallen asleep. Some of them quickly took a photo of this adorable moment, when Peter with blanket over his head snuggling on Tony's shoulder. 

_ Want this to be your phone's wallpaper, Stark ?

Clint playfully smirks while looking at Natasha's phone, the one who took it looks happy too. 

_ Make it my lockscreen.

Tony says then carefully holds the boy to his bed room. This kid seriously needs to put on some weight, Tony bets that he's even lighter than the scrawny little Steve before the serum.

_... I feel great !!!!

Peter joyfully yells after waking up from his drowsiness. 15 hours of sleeping is enough for him to gain back his strength. Peter stands up, does some stretchings, heavily inhale exhale and slaps his head a few times, just to make sure he's fully recovered now. It works though. 

_ HI GUYS !!!!!!!!

The little boy's chirpy chirp startles the grownups a bit, but that is the sound that they miss. Peter's presence always lightens up the whole room and it is the only positive thing allowed in the freaking morning. 

_ PETIE !! You're alright !! 

Wanda runs to give her favorite little brother a hug. The rest all have their relieved expressions, knowing the kid is back. 

_ You had caused your old man several heart attacks, Tiny Petite. 

Clint cheerfully picks on the little boy, again. Aw, he's glad to see the kid's alright. 

_ How can I be careful of something that I don't even know I'm allergic to.

Peter growls softly, making Wanda pout with sympathy and trying to console him. 

_ And no one on earth would taste the bug spray with their normal logic. It said "Do not sniff or taste in any circumstances" on the back. 

Sam sighs heavily. Thank goodness he's alright but this kid is a problem. 

_ Come on guys, you seriously gonna do this to me ? I just woke up and you all drowning me with your naggings. 

The kid throws his hands and let out a tiny whine, which softens everyone. 

_ Well I haven't so you gonna listen to mine. You need another checkup with Bruce, he's waiting. 

Tony steps out from the bathroom and walks toward the kid. 

_ Noo, I'm fine now. Look, brand new !!!

Peter stubbornly said with his childish tone. 

_ You.are.going, now. Hurry up so you will make it for family breakfast. 

Tony sternly states, then goes straight to the elevator. 

_ Oh Romanoff, you should prepare some ice-cream, the cry-baby might tear up from the checkup. 

He turns around and smirks at the boy, who has realised what his mentor's implying and turns a bit red. 

_ Nooo !!! You did not call me that !! Noo Mr. Stark !!!!

Everyone chuckles loudly looking at the boy fumingly chasing his mentor into the elevator.

_ WHAT !!??? HE BOUGHT THE WHOLE COMPANY ??

_ Of course not, he bought every single company that produce bug spray or any type of spray that contains ethyl chloride. 

_ ... Whoah, flex ..

_ Nope, the worst part is that he has evicted every ethyl chloride contained products out there, all over the world. 

_ He's already developed spray without ethyl chloride in order to replace the original. 

_ That guy is nut !!

_ You should hear him when I tried to be reasonable with the "I am Tony Stark, I do what i want" logic. Utterly catastrophe. 

_ Well, it's Peter we're talking about. He nearly died !!

_ Yeah, sounds crazy but I agree with him on that. 

The team sit around the table, chattering while waiting for Peter, Tony and Bruce to come down. They haven't seen Pepper from last night, and they think they know why. She has to clean all the mess that Tony made but since it's for Peter, her rage wasn't that bad.
