_ May !! So good to see you !!

Peter ran into his aunt's arm. 

_ Are you hurt ? 

May concerned but then quickly relieved when her nephew gave her a nod. The trip had ended sooner than plan due to the 'sudden climate change'. Or in another way, his summer's vacation had been crashed. 

_ I'm so glad that it wasn't on the news. Those monsters were hugeeee !!

Peter claimed as he sitting the car. As if those monsters were following him to the trip and Peter didn't want Spiderman to coincidentally appeared in Europe, so he tried to lure those to an empty area and dealed with them. He got lucky that Ned covered him so well, however he had a feeling MJ would find out soon.  

_ Do you want to go straight to the Tower ? I'll take your luggage home.

_ Really ? That'll be awesome May, thank you !!

Peter taps his fingers to the melody in his earphone and mumbles to the lyrics. He decides to stop at the family level to grab some food, he's starving. Feeling something was off but he tries to ignore it and goes straight to the fridge. Takes a juice box and throws a sandwich in the microwave, Peter finally turns and look at the couch. Oh, weird ? There're people there ?

_ Pffff

Peter spits out all of his apple juice when he realises who they are, and it goes everywhere on the kitchen counter. He abruptly takes some kitchen tower and wipes it off, while looking at the three. 

_ Who are you ?

Arg, deja vu all over again..

_ How can you get in here ?

Natasha said with an intimidation but not very harsh 'cause clearly, the boy's not a threat. But she's curious about him. According to Rhodey, the security system is extremely powerful built and there's no way a kid like this can break into the Stark Tower. If he's a intern, then what give him the access to the family floor ? And his action seems like he's used to it, in here. 

_ U-um.. I-I, W-well, I'm Peter, Peter Parker.. And um.. I'm Mr.Stark's personal intern. 

Peter is genuinely shaking. Oh my cheesy crackers.. so this is what his tingle has been warning him about. He's now standing in front of Captain America, Falcon and Black Widow, and he doesn't what to do !! Should he scream ? Faint ? Run ? Or jump out the window ???

Beep beep beep 

_ I-I should go. It was nice.. meeting you. 

He raised his voice at "nice" so it was not nice !!! When he's about to turn back to take his sandwich, he can see Captain America stand up and walk to him. 

" Oh gosh !! I stole his shield !!! I probably kicked him !!! Do not tell him you're Spiderman !!!!! "

Peter's inner screams with all his might when Cap slowly approaching him. 

_ Does Tony let you in ?

Tension rises and the close distance makes the kid unconsciously step back. But then, his saviours finally appear. 

Pepper and Tony were walking out of the conference when Friday abruptly spook through the nearest sound system.

" Boss, it seems like Peter is having a distress " - Friday.

They uneasily looked at each other, a bit of puzzle were shown. 

_ Didn't he say he will be back tomorrow ?

Pepper asked but Tony had no idea how to answer that. 

_ Where is he ?

That when the both rushed in the family level floor and saw Peter standing with a man that were double his size. Tony rapidly stands between the two with his eyes locks at Steve's and Pepper goes to the boy.

_ Sweetheart, you told me you would be back tomorrow ?!

_ I-I'm sorry Pepper.. I.. just want to give you guys a surprise.. 

Pepper strokes the boy's hair softly to comfort him, then peeks at Tony. 

_ Well, you did gave Tony a heart attack. 

Tony looses his tensity and looks back for the kid. 

_ Kid, you good ?

_ Yeah, yeah I'm good.

Peter tries put everyone at ease with his nervous smile. Although he couldn't control his focus and keep looking around. 

_ I'm sorry Mr.Stark, everyone.. I should head to the lab.

_ Tony. 

_ Rogers. 

The billionaire's cold attitude makes Steve show a slight ache in his eyes. In front of his stern gaze, Steve takes a deep breath and tries to compress his emotions.

_ Thank you for having us. Other than that, we need to talk, not personal. 

The touch of Pepper on his shoulder wakes Tony from his thinking (of excuses).

_ .. Will be there at 4.

 Pepper proudly smiles at her fiancé for not trying to hide anymore. 

Tony urgently goes to the lab - where Peter is. He then sees the boy decently scan through the security system to find any holes.

_ Hey kid, how is the trip ?

_ Oh Mr.Stark. Erm.. hey it's a.. i'm sorry for bustling in and causing you trouble. I shouldn't do that..

Tony exhales and goes to pat the kid's shoulder. He seriously has to work with Peter's low self-esteem.

_ No kid, it's not your fault. I'm sorry for not warning you first. 

_ .. I'm sorry, I just want to give you a surprise. 

Tony's comforted by the kid's sincerity.

_ Well I am happy to see you. So your vacation ends sooner than plan ?

_ Oh, yes. That's what I want to talk about. 

Tony frowns a bit, why is he feeling anxious about this ?

_ There're monsters appeared in Venice so I fought them. 

Peter pulls Tony to sit next to him. 

_ Monsters ??

Said Tony with startle.

_ Yeah, a Water monster, Earth and Fire. Three in total, and they're huge !! 

Peter gets so exciting that he ignores his mentor's horrored expression. After the Vulture and other battles he's been through, Peter made a promise with Tony that he will have to tell him everytime he's in one, and no hiding ! So Peter makes his promise and narrating his fight in Venice the other day. 

_ Good thing that I fought them in an empty ground and there's really not a soul there so people didn't get hurt and I didn't get caught ! Thankfully with the newest function, I can change my suit to black thus no one would acknowledge why Spiderman was in Venice with such a coincidence. Anyway, I'm healed !!! Good as new !! 

Peter proudly presents his epic battle. Not gonna lie, that was one of his roughest fights since they are ginormous, probably same size as this Tower or the fact that he was almost turned into a human torch. Remind him to not tell Mr.Stark and May that part.

Tony couldn't have a chance to proceed that a uninvited guest walks in. 

_ Wha What !?? Why are you healed ? No, no how can you heal !?? Didn't get caught what ? Spiderman in Venice !?? Peter you were in Venice !!!! WHAT'S HAPPENING !??

Bruce dashes toward the two. We've seen this face before when he saw Peter for the first time, but this is way more intense. 

_ Bruce, stay calm. I don't have the mood to play with your Jalapeño right now. 

Tony steps in to soothe his lab's buddy. 

_ You knew !!??? Peter, you're Spiderman ??????

_ Who is ? 

Oh great, things are getting better already. They all turn to where the voice comes from, to see Rhodey walk in. 

_ Who is Spiderman ? 

Peter nervously looks at both that are looking at him. What has he done !! What does he need to do ?? Peter stares at Tony with panic. He did say that he would tell them someday, but that someday is definitely not today. 

_ Guys, remember when I said me and Peter have a history ? 

Tony gestures the bewildered people to sit down and have a talk. Why is it so many talks today ?? Tony shortly sums up everything while trying to reassure Peter.

_ Look, it's not like Peter want to hide from you guys, he's scared plus he doesn't know what to do. This kid has dreadful social anxiety disorder. Therefore, we were waiting for a suitable opportunity to tell you. 

Tony's words which left the two adults in silent. Are they mad because Peter hides it from them or are they just being speechless about the responsibilities that the young kid had to carry. They always see Peter as a cheerful child with kindness and modesty as if he didn't go through any pain or lost. They would never think a kid like this, out there, fights criminals every single day, got hurt alone somewhere and took the pains all by himself.   

_ Oh gosh Tony, you brought him into our fight. 

Rhodey breathes heavily while massaging his forehead. 

_ So that's why you want to keep a distance between Pete and the others ?

Tony nods in return. When Tony told them that, Rhodey and Bruce didn't clearly understand. Tony just explained that Peter might be overwhelmed by the other Avengers so they would fairly agreed. They all knew his 'beyond belief' ability in common communication. 

_ The monster you fought with Peter, didn't you encounter severe injuries ?

Bruce asks the quiet boy. Though knowing Peter has super-healing but he can't help but worrying about him. After working with the kid for months, Bruce has officially become his personal doc because of the wounds made during lab's work. 

_ Yeah but I'm good, Bruce. My healing is enhancing since I pretty much get used to it by now. 

When the kid mentioned "it", the adults really hope that he means "his healing", not the "get used to being wounded" 

They were about to ask more but Friday interrupted them, informing that they have a meeting to attend.

_ Ok kid, you can wandering around. Remember our talk ?

Tony stands up and pulls out his phone.

_ Keep a distance with the 'Pre-Avengers', got it. 

Peter nods and Rhodey just groans at Tony's lame joke. 'Pre-avengers' ? Such a Tony's thing. 

_ Yes, if they try to get close to you, scream and Friday will kick them out. Text me when you leave.
