A Tour

---Ink's POV----

We were halfway through a History lesson when a teacher knocked on the door.

We all paused, no longer writing down the work we were supposed to be doing.

Our teacher called in the other one and they stepped in, a rather flustered and irritated expression on their face.

"Sorry sir. I just found the missing student from yesterday. He's supposed to be in your class right now."

At the words 'missing student from yesterday' we all leaned forwards, trying to see whoever was out there with the teacher. From where I'm sat I can just make out the silhouette of someone stood behind miss.

Our teacher cleared his throat, and turned to look at us. "Back to work class. I need a minute to talk with Miss."

And with that, he stepped out of the classroom with Miss. No one said anything for a moment, but pretty quickly frantic whispers broke out as people tried to figure out what was happening.

Someone from the back whisper shouted for everyone to shut up, and to my surprise we all did, I wasn't talking in the first place anyway but still.

We all stayed silent and tried to listen into what was happening outside. All I could hear, from the other side of the room, was muffled voices.

The sound of loud footsteps echoed down the corridor and another voice joined in the conversation. I instantly recognised it as the principles voice.

His voice was much clearer, he had quite a loud voice and it could easily be recognised from other teacher voices.

He said something about being disappointed and then the word Ink.

Instantly everyone turned to face me and I panicked. What had I done? Last time I checked I hadn't done anything against the school rules, had I?

We all looked back down at our work and pretended to work suddenly as the door opened and the principle stepped in.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see him scanning the room, his stare coming to a stop on me. I gulped and continued to write down my work, trying to act calm. I looked down at my hand too see it was shaking.

"Ink."

I tensed.

"Ink?" He repeated.

I slowly turned to face him, terrified out of my mind. "Y-Yes Sir." I stuttered.

He didn't say anything and only beckoned me over before walking out of the room. I pushed myself out of my seat and gulped, quickly putting al my stuff in my bags.

I ignored the looks I was being given by my classmates, but I glanced at Dream as he gave me a thumbs up for reassurance. I smiled weakly at him and reached the door, pausing before opening it.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared right now.

I took in a big gulp of air as I stepped out of the classroom.

My history teacher stood there, arms crossed, muttering something to the other teacher that had disrupted the lesson in the first place.

The principle looked grim but smiled at me as I walked out. "Ah, Ink. Here you are."

He must of noticed how terrified I was and chuckled lightly. "Don't worry, your not in trouble."

I instantly relaxed and all of the tension that had built up inside of me released and I felt like I could breath normally once more.

"Umm, excuse me for asking sir...But...If I'm not in trouble...then why am I here?"

He laughed and crossed his arms, looking over at a figure leaning against a wall.

I blinked in surprise. How had I not noticed him?

He was covered mostly by the shadows but I could make out his body shape and face. He had dark bones and seemed to have what looked like blue tear marks running down his face from his eyes. I looked questioningly at the apparent glitches and strange ERROR signs that fizzed around his body. I couldn't deny that even in the poor lighting he looked handsome.

He glanced at me and I quickly looked away, studying the floor beneath me.

The principle cleared his throat and I looked up at him.

"So then Ink. This here is Error. He's joining our school. He was supposed to be here yesterday but wasn't due to....complications."

The skeleton grunted in amusement and the principle frowned.

"We were looking for a student to give him a quick tour of the school, seeing as he's new and all. I suggested you seeing as your a trustworthy student."

"Of course!" I squeaked. "Thats no problem! I'm happy to help!" God I still sounded nervous.

"Thank you for accepting on such short notice." The principle said, a smile growing on his face before he turned to the other two teachers. "Now then, lets get back to work shall we?"

My history teacher nodded and walked back into the classroom. The female teacher hurried off down the corridor, her shoes making  small squeaking sounds as she ran over the wooden floor.

The principle sighed and looked over at me. "Ink." He said, nodding to me before glaring at the other skeleton that was still hidden in the shadows. "Error." He said, also nodding at him. I stood there awkwardly until the principle looked down at his wrist watch.

"Well I'd love to stay and chat but I've got to go. You two have fun."

And with that he walked away down the corridor. Leaving me with him.

---Error's POV----

I studied the small skeleton as he watched the principle walk away. He looked like your average skeleton, apart from that fact that I don't think I've ever seen skeleton as small as him, us skeletons were usually quite tall. (wait till you see Dream and Blue mate XD)

He seemed like one of those goodie-goodie teachers pet kids. One that hasn't had a single detention throughout their whole journey of High school.

I did a painfully obvious fake cough and he whipped around to face me, an embarrassed look on his face.

"So...." He muttered, scratching the back of his skull. "I guess I give you a tour then."

I rolled my eyes and pushed off the wall I had been leaning on and walked forwards so that I was stood in front of him.

I was around a head taller than him and he didn't seem to like that factor. He huffed, standing up on his toes. I laughed and spun around, walking a few steps before I turned back to face him.

"Am I getting this tour or what?"

"O-Oh. Right! The tour. Umm, follow me then." He stuttered, walking past me and down the corridor. I followed him slowly, looking around boredly at the doors of classrooms, trying to see what was happening inside.

"So umm, this is the History block. Where umm, as you've probably guessed, all the history classes are. Down there is Geography block." He said pointing out some doors that led out to a small stretch of grass that ended at another small building.

I nodded, not really interested with the school layout.

---Smol Time Skip---------------

"And I guess thats just about it." He finished with a sigh. We had ended where we had started, in the history block. "Did you get all of that?"

I smirked and shook my head.

He huffed and crossed his arms. "Well I'm not showing you around again. I've already missed enough class as it is. I need to get back to work!"

I laughed and looked down at him. "I guess I was right then."

He glared up at me. "Got what right?"

I chuckled and stretched my arms, loving the pissed expression on his face. "Oh not much. I just assumed you would be a hard working teachers pet, and it seems you are."

"I-I'm not a teachers pet!" He cried, a faint rainbow dusting over his cheeks.

"Uhuh, of course you aren't. How many detentions have you had over your whole time there at Craitown High?"

He looked down at the ground. "None."

"Exactly, your a good boy teachers pet."

He growled and looked up at me. "Better to be a teachers pet than a cocky person that has no hope for learning anything."

I laughed and nodded. "True, you have a point there Inkblot."

"My name is Ink." He said.

I merely shrugged. "Eh, close enough."

He growled and glared at me. "Why did you join Craitown High? I've never seen you round the village before."

I sighed. "That's because I just moved here."

"Why?"

"Do you ever run out of questions?" I muttered. "I'm here because I needed to go to a new school."

"Why?"

He was doing this on purpose now.

"Because I was expelled from the last one."

No sooner than I'd said that he looked at me differently, it wasn't a good look either.

"So I assume the reason you were 'missing' yesterday was really because you were bunking." He muttered.

I laughed. "Yup. Was gonna do it today as well but I walked too close to the school and a teacher pounced on me."

"You poor thing." He said, sarcasm lacing his voice.

I grinned. I liked this kid. He could be really helpful.
