I Flew
---Reapers POV----
I'm on a Geno hunt.
That's what I do most Lunches and Breaks now. I leave the others and wander off to find my favorite little Tsundre.
He's given up on hiding from me. He no longer searches for new areas to read, he just goes to the ones we both already know, which is really helpful for me, seeing as I'm the one that has to search.
The only problem now, is that I normally check every every singe secluded area for him except the one he's in. Yeah, helpful I know. Anyways, at the moment I still haven't found him, which isn't what I wanted.
I kinda want to tell him something...
I floated over to the next possible Geno hiding spot and looked around, my eyes scanning the area. Nope. He's not here either.
I huffed and thought of other places he could be. I've nearly checked all of them.
A sudden place popped into my mind and I immediately started making my way over, praying that he'd be there. If he isn't then I'll have no clue where he could be.
I floated down the corridors, making my way to where I hoped Geno would be. That's when I felt a tug at the back of my cloak. I turned around to see my childhood friend Tori.
I smirked and she grinned. "Long-time-no-see Tori." I said.
She giggled and looked down at me. "Its been a while since I saw you sans."
"Same here Tori."
She eyed me, a curious glint in her eyes. "Are you looking for someone? You seemed rather fixated on something."
I laughed and rubbed the back of my neck. "Yeah I'm looking for a friend. He always hides from me."
She tilted her head to the side and giggled. "That kind of sounds like he doesn't want to be found by you. Why are you searching for him if he doesn't want to be found?"
I laughed and waved her off. "He does want to be found, trust me. He just likes playing hard to get."
She looked at me strangely then smiled, raising an eyebrow. "Sounds like you like this person."
I froze and looked away quickly. "Haha, Nah. He's just fun to annoy."
She smirked. "Don't deny your feelings."
I shook my head and started to float away. "You crazy goat girl I'm outta here, see ya round!"
"Byyeeee!" She called.
I rolled my eyes and floated down at he corridor to the final known hiding place. This has to be where Geno's hiding, I mean, its the only other place we both know about.
I scanned it quickly with my eyes but couldn't see him anywhere. I was about to turn and leave when I saw something in the shadows casted by the buildings. It looked like the shadow of a person on top of the roof.
I stepped out and looked up, shading my eyes with my hand to stop the sun. There sat on the roof, with his legs dangling over the side, without a care in the world, was Geno.
"How the hell did you get up there?!"
He looked up from his book then looked down at me and smirked. "I flew."
"Geno I'm ninety nine point nine percent certain your a skeleton and not a bird."
He laughed and swung his legs back and forth. "I'm excited to see how your going to get to me in this situation."
I took a step back eyed the building. "Uh, how did you really get up?"
He smirked at me. "I climbed up the drainpipe."
I eyed the pipe. It looked ready to fall off the wall and collapse at any moment. "Yeah... Forgive me if I'm not too keen on that idea."
Geno laughed triumphantly. "Finally! A place that Reaper can't get to!"
I huffed and grinned up at him. "I can still annoy you from down here though."
Geno rolled his eye and looked down at his book, continuing to read, he still had a small smirk on his face, obviously proud of hiss new 'anti-me' spot.
I frowned and looked around. There has to be one of those safety stairways that come from the outside of the building. After five minutes of searching I huffed and gave in to the fact that Geno had probably been telling the truth about the drainpipe. That or he really can fly.
I sat down cross legged in front of the wall and looked up at Geno. I felt like some puppy waiting for its owner to come down and tell it what to do. Its clear Geno thought that as well because he looked down from his book and laughed. "Hey puppy."
I laughed and let out a "woof" sound, making Geno laugh again.
"What does puppy want?"
I whined and tilted my head. "I want you to come down."
Geno huffed and stared at me. "Ugh, I can't say no to that face." He stood up and put his book in his bag before looking at me. "Catch!"
I scrambled forwards and caught the bag in mid-air, clutching it tight before placing it on the floor. "Don't tell me your going to be diving off into my arms." I joked.
Geno snorted and shook his head. "Hell no, I'm taking the drainpipe."
I shrugged and took a step closer. "If you say so."
Geno walked along the edge of the roof, his arms out at his sides for balance. I watched him nervously, ready to lunge forwards if he suddenly fell.
He made it to the drainpipe and started climbing down, when he was about halfway the drainpipe groaned and shifted. Geno froze and I moved, sprinting forwards as he lost his grip and fell.
I caught him in my arms and clutched him to my chest, crouching to cushion the impact for him. He let out a yelp and grabbed me tightly, clearly shaken by his fall.
"That was close." I said calmly, smirking down at him. His face was tinted with red and he looked extremely embarrassed. "Put me down." He muttered.
I chuckled and placed him on his feet. He wobbled a little before coughing and straightening up, he looked around and focused on his bag. He walked over to it and picked it up before looking back at me, his face still slightly red.
"Uh, thanks for catching me..." He muttered.
I smirked and walked over to him, tilting his face to look at mine with my thumb and index finger. "No problem~" I purred.
Geno looked at me, his face flushed red.
I grinned and raised an eyebrow. Geno seemed to snap out of some trance and pushed away, his face the colour of a cherry. I laughed and stretched, letting my bones click.
He watched me, his face still flushed red. I hummed and winked at him, resulting in a stone being thrown at me.
"I hate you."
"Love you too~"
