---Dust's POV----

While I was waiting for Blue to wake up, I had turned on the TV and was flicking through the channels boredly, not really finding anything that interested me. It was all boring news reports or silly programs where you bring your really old junk to someone and they'll tell you it's worth loads of money. Huh, maybe I should try that out.

Having nothing better to do, I flicked back over to the news, hoping to find a report that could possibly interest him. The chances are slim really. Not much has been happening round Craitown recently, it's just been rather quiet.

The last intense thing that happened was Nightmare's brother nearly getting hit by a car. The driver managed to die at the scene apparently. Nightmare and Cross didn't realise because they were so busy fussing over Dream.

According to the reports seen on the news, the car had been hit by something that someone had thrown, causing it to swerve suddenly and skid in the snow making it slam full speed into one of the parked cars at the side of the road.

The person driving hadn't been wearing a seatbelt and had been flung forwards at impact, slamming their face down on the dashboard and fracturing their skull.

I glanced at the news and nearly laughed, seeing none other than the car crash report came up. It was reviewing some footage of the scene that was was recorded by a traffic camera.

I leaned forwards a bit and watched. Nightmare and Cross never did give us the full details of what happened.

You could see Nightmare and Cross walking down the street together and Dream several meters ahead of them, clearly still in a mood with Nightmare. Dream stopped at the road and looked both ways before starting to cross the road.

Then a screech sounded and the out-of-control car came into view, making a literal beeline for Dream.

Nightmare and Cross snapped into action immediately as Nightmare called out his name and sprinted forwards. Cross crouched down and gripped something in his hand before he swung it forwards and it flew past Dream and slammed into the front wheel of the car, making it swerve, with Dream still in the crushing zone.

Nightmare then lashed out a tentacle and wrapped it round his waist before yanking him out of the way just in time, pulling him into the safety of his arms.

I blinked as the footage was suddenly taken back to the part where Cross threw one of his knives at the car.

"We are unsure what this object is that this kid threw, and we don't know how he had it or where he was hiding it, but judging by the marks on the car what he threw was a knife, a very large knife."

I zoned out on what the news reporter was saying and glanced back down at Blue as he wriggled in my lap. I paused the TV and smirked as he let out a cute yawn and shifted a bit, nuzzling closer to me.

I pet the top of his skull softly, making him smile in his sleep, his cheeks slowly turning a faint blue. I felt my own face heat up slightly and I sighed, wrapping my arms round Blue and pulling him closer to me.

Blue purred softly and leant against me, obviously not minding my affectionate actions towards him.

I smirked as he let out another yawn, this one bigger than the last. He opened his eyes sleepily and looked around blearily, clearly not sure of where he was. I noticed that he had a tight grip on my jacket, probably feeling nervous.

He relaxed as he realised where he was and his grip on me loosened slightly. I don't think he's actually realised I'm here yet. I didn't move, wanting to see what would happen if I stayed still.

Blue sat there for a moment, rubbing his eyes and looking around before glancing behind him and seeing me.

He jolted and let out a squeak of surprise, his face quickly turning blue with embarrassment at the fact that he had been curled up next to me as he slept. I smirked at him. "Something wrong Baby Blue?~"

Blue squeaked again and scrambled back off the sofa, clearly flustered by my tone and sudden nickname. I chuckled and leaned back on the sofa, closing my eyes lazily.

I could hear Blue shuffle closer and I smiled as I felt the pressure of his chin rest on my arm lightly. I opened one eye and glanced at him. His big blue eyes were looking at me, he was clearly about to ask a question.

"Umm, Dust...not that I have a problem with it or anything...But umm, why are you in my house...?"

I laughed and pet the top of his skull. "There was a huge earthquake and the school collapsed. I heard you calling for help and dug you out of the rubble. The teachers screamed at us to run and let the rescue team sort this out, so I ran to my house only to find it had also collapsed, so I figured out where you lived and took you here. I would have left, but I don't have a house to get back to..."

Blue looked at me and blinked. "Is everyone okay!?"

I laughed. "I was joking Blue, everyone's okay and the schools still there don't worry."

Blue let out a small sigh of relief and flopped on top of me, his chin resting on my chest as he looked up at me innocently. "Then why are you really in my house?"

"Ink asked me to take you back. You were half asleep and were in no shape to go home by yourself. Ink was busy and had to do something so he asked if I could take you home, he gave me some directions and poof! Here we are."

Blue snuggled up to me and sighed. "That story sounds more believable...But if the other story was true, then I'd be happy to let you stay in my house while you search for a new one!...that is if Papy would let me..."

"Your g brother hates me." I chuckled and kissed Blue's nose lightly. "Your too cute for your own good~"

Blue blushed deeply at my actions and I smirked, shifting him as I sat up, pulling him into my chest as I looked down at him. His face was completely flushed blue, small beads of sweat had started to form on his face as he looked up at me nervously.

I wiped the small beads away and cupped his cheek in my hand, smiling as he lent into it and purred softly, his half lidded eyes looking up at me innocently.

I smirked and gently stroked the side of his cheek before leaning down and kissing him.

Blue let out a muffled squeak and grabbed the fabric of my hoodie, pulling me closer to him as he kissed back. I smirked and wrapped my arms around him as I deepened the kiss, making Blue shiver and his grip falter.

After a while I pulled away, grinning as Blue let out a soft whine. He was panting lightly and his face was practically glowing with blush. I knew mine probably looked the same, I'm just better at controlling myself than Blue.

He didn't protest as I pulled him closer to me and nuzzled the top of his skull. He simply pureed and gripped me tighter, a small smile on his face.

I chuckled lightly and looked down at him. "Love you Blue~"

"Mmm love you too Dust..."
