---Ink's POV----
I think that test went pretty well. I missed only two out of sixty questions and I'm pretty confident on the ones I did answer. A few questions required more consideration than others but I think I did okay overall.
I'll have to ask Dream how he thinks he did when I next see him. I skipped over to Error and smirked at his pained expression. "Test go well?" I purred.
"Shut up." He muttered.
"And that's why you revise."
He looked up at me and grinned. "Well maybe we could arrange for me to come round yours again for some private tutoring."
My face flushed and I nodded, causing him to smirk at me.
"W-We should get moving." I stuttered, turning around and starting to walk out the classroom. Error ran up level with me and walked down the corridors with me.
We walked in silence for a bit until Error coughed nervously and looked at me.
"H-Hey Ink?"
"Hmm?" I looked at him and he smiled nervously.
"I w-was wondering if you umm, you...wanted to g-go to the park with me on the weekend."
I grinned at his nervousness and put my hand on my chin, as if pretending to think. "Would this when I'd get to give you your private tutor session?"
He shrugged. "If your fine with t-that."
I smiled. "Then sure I'd love to come."
He breathed out a sigh of relief and I giggled childishly. "We're gonna be late if we don't hurry up soon, come on!" I grabbed his arm and dragged him down the corridor to our next class.
He laughed and ran after me, the two of us pulling each other forwards if we slowed. We rounded the final corner and I could see our classroom. Dream was also there, he hadn't gone in yet.
He looked up and smiled as he spotted me, but that quickly turned into a frown as he saw Error behind me. I ran over to him, letting go of Error's arm. "Heya Dream."
He didn't answer me and rolled his eyes, walking into the classroom without another word.
"What's up with him?" Error asked.
I sighed. "I don't know. He's been acting differently lately. I'm actually worried about him. He's never been like this before..."
Error chuckled and ruffled the top of my skull. "I'm sure its nothing. He'll be fine, maybe he's just been having a bad week."
I blushed and nodded. "Maybe...."
Error shrugged and walked into the classroom. I stood there for a moment, thinking over what could be making Dream so different all of a sudden. Then it hit me.
It couldn't be Error....could it?
I shook my head and looked down at the floor. Dream isn't the type to go all moody just because I got a new friend...is he? Maybe Nightmares done something to him...
"Ink?"
I snapped out of my thoughts to see Dream stood in the doorway, a concerned expression on his face. "Are you coming in or...?"
I smiled and laughed nervously. "Yeah...I'm coming in..."
Dream looked at me strangely. "What were you doing just then?"
I shook my head and walked into the classroom. "I was thinking. Just...thinking."
---Time Skip----------------------
---Dream's POV----
I didn't say bye to Ink at the end of the day. He was talking to Error and I didn't want to interrupt. I stood by myself at the blossom tree, waiting for Nightmare.
I scanned the courtyard for him and spotted him on the other side, making his way over to me. I was going to run over to him but I froze as Ink came out of nowhere and grabbed Nightmare's arm, saying something.
Nightmare visibly groaned but stopped and faced Ink, his arms crossed over his chest.
I was too far away to hear what they were saying but I knew it was about me. Mainly because as soon as Ink started talking Nightmare glanced over at me, so did Ink.
I pretended not to notice them and looked down at my hands, making sure to keep the two of them in my vision. Ink looked concerned about something and Nightmare just looked rather bored.
After about a minute Nightmare said something to Ink and poked him in the chest with a tentacle, causing Ink to stumble back a bit.
Nightmare laughed and said something else before waving and turning round, walking back over to me.
"Heya Dreamy." He said, wrapping a tentacle round my wrist and dragging me forwards. I let out a squeak and tripped forwards.
"Slow down!" I cried, trying to catch up with him without tripping. Nightmare laughed and stopped moving, letting me draw level with him.
The tentacle slithered off my wrist and I shuddered at the thin layer of slime that it left on me. Nightmare poked me in the cheek with one and I squeaked and pushed it away, piping the blob of slime off my face.
Nightmare grinned. "What's wrong Dreamy? Do you not like my way of showing affection to you?"
"No!" I cried, running forwards as his tentacles snaked towards me.
He laughed and brought them back, letting them hang limply at his sides. "Come on Dreamy, you know I was joking."
I huffed and waited for him to catch up, a scowl on my face.
"Come on, don't give me that look." He whined, pretending to he hurt. I giggled and looked away. Nightmare sighed and sniffed.
"Its okay don't cry." I joked.
Nightmare laughed and looked down at me. I looked up at him then frowned suddenly. "What did Ink want to talk to you about?"
Nightmare shrugged and I whined. "It wasn't nothing!"
Nightmare looked at me and I glared at him. "Ink said he's worried about you."
I froze and looked at Nightmare. "He's what...?"
Nightmare sighed before continuing. "He said that you've been acting different lately, not in a good way. He's worried something's wrong with you."
I looked down at the floor.
"Of course first thing he does is asks what I've done to you. He thinks I've been threatening or abusing you at home or something."
I looked up at him. "But you haven't!"
"That's what I told him. I said it was his fault more than anyone else's."
"You didn't tell him the real reason though?"
"Nope, its up to you to tell him that."
I looked down at the ground. "Yeah..."
Nightmare sighed and punched me playfully on the shoulder. "Cheer up. I'm supposed to be the miserable brother not you."
I looked up at him and giggled.
"That's better."
We eventually reached our house and as soon as we were in I ran into the living room and belly flopped onto one of the sofas, sighing at the familiar smell.
Nightmare walked in with a cereal bar and laughed. "Your crazy."
I giggled.
"Maybe I am."
