[Chapter 47: Hanging Out]
"See you in a bit, Michael." You promised him loyally, wrapping your arms around him before bringing him into a tender-loving hug. You still hadn't forgiven him for peeking at you in the shower, but after the doll moving accident this morning, you weren't necessarily sure what to believe anymore.
So once he'd nodded his head lovingly, the obsessive male accepted your adorable embrace and curled his arms around you in return; resting his chin atop your hair whilst doing his best to hide his bitterness at the very same time. But even though he tried his hardest to hide his saltiness, you still managed to pick up on Michael's sour behaviour; the white-masked killer slicing one of Camp Crystal Lake's trees and making it fairly obvious about how he truly felt on the inside. Feeling worried, you did your best to reassure Michael and stop him from damaging the natural property even further - steering him and the other three away from the lake in general. Then, when everybody had left the campsite, Jason exploded with joyful excitement; yanking you into another strong-hearted snuggle as he asked how you were feeling so far. Of course, your answer was flooded with amusement; finding the Crystal Lake Killer to be not only childishly cute, but also refreshingly relaxing too.
"Sooooo, Jason...Whatcha wanna do...?" You shyly wondered, letting him twirl you around after you'd responded to his question.
"W-Wh...at-uh...ever-uh...you...w-uh...ant-uh...to...do...(Y...Y/n)..." He replied adoringly, tugging you into his chest before nuzzling his head into your hair. You were about to comment on his usual blood-stained smell, but then you realised he must've taken a shower and changed clothes by the time you'd arrived, which was really rather considerate of him. [A/N: "Whatever...you want to do...(Y/n)..."]
"Well I'm up for anything. As long as I'm with you." You told him truthfully, cuddling him back and appreciating his softhearted embrace.
"I...I m-uh...ean-uh...there's-uh...pick...ing-uh...ber...ries...and-uh...there's-uh...alw-uh...ays-uh...the...walk-uh...around the...lake..." Jason suggested in a sweet tone; sounding happier and happier by the minute. [A/N: "I...I mean...there's picking berries...and there's always...the walk around...the lake..."]
"Sounds good to me. Why don't we do both...?" You kindly commented, breaking free of his hold so you could give him a high-five and agree to his ideas.
"I-I...I'd-uh...LOVE to...!" The hockey-masked slasher spoke to you happily, tears of delight pricking at the edge of his eyes while he tucked his trusty machete into his denim jeans' side pocket. [A/N: "I-I...I'd LOVE to...!"]
"Why don't we start with the berry picking then...?" You quizzed lightly, pushing your backpack further behind your shoulder and looking around at the bushes. "But be warned, I don't know much about which fruits are safe and which ones are dangerous. You'll have to teach me~"
"D-uh...on't-uh...wor...ry-uh...I'm...super-uh...dup...er-uh...sma...rt-uh...!" Jason reassured you with the upmost of pride, sounding highly smug about his upcoming knowledge. [A/N: "Don't worry...I'm super-duper smart...!"]
"Oh yeah...? Prove it~" Sticking your tongue out, you tossed him a slight smirk and tried to mess around; the Crystal Lake Killer falling prey to your comment and finding your words to be funny instead.
So that's what happened, Jason leading you through the forest and teaching you about the differences between the good berries, the neutral berries, and the toxic berries; the two of you plucking said fruits into your baskets and discussing their differences during the time you were spending together. This activity definitely calmed you down and also distracted you from the doll disaster, so much so in fact that you released a sigh of relief and enjoyed a few of the healthy treats yourself - Jason treating himself to some of the delicious berries as well. It was a fun task to finish and as time ticked on, completing your visit with your regular walk around the lake unquestionably made the moment that much more special. Especially since you were enjoying berries, chatting to Jason, and walking besides him all at the same time. But alas, just as the early sunset dipped down behind the gloomy green hills, you knew that your time was up - knowing that the other killers were impatiently waiting for you to return home.
"Guess it's time for me to go home." You gently pointed out, turning your attention towards the Crystal Lake Sign and noticing the other four killers waiting to pick you up once again.
"I...It's-uh...It's-uh...NOT-UH...f-f-uh...air-uh...!" Jason complained selfishly, stamping his foot before pulling his machete out like a little kid would. [A/N: "I...It's...It's NOT...f-fair...!"]
"I spent the entire afternoon with you." You mentioned with another sigh, this one not being one of relief, but one of weariness instead. "Anyway, it's not Goodbye forever. It's just...Goodbye until next time. Until Tuesday~"
"B...But-uh...! B...But-uh...!" Jason protested in a teary tone, dragging you into a heavy hug and spinning you around. "I...I n-uh...eed-uh...y-uh...ou...!" [A/N: "B...But...! B...But...! I...I need you...!"]
"And I need you too." You softly brought up, wrapping your arms around his body directly after the cuddling. "But right now, I need to head home and get some shut-eye. Especially if I'm to face Freddy later on."
"Hy...p-uh...no...cil-uh...alw-uh...ays-uh...w-uh...ork...s-uh..." He growled in a vicious voice, his gaze twisting into one of a glare as he showed his inner dislike towards the sadistic dream demon. [A/N: "Hypnocil...always works..."]
"I'm...sure it does. But I don't think I could handle Freddy materialising and dematerialising inside and outside of my bedroom, y'know...?" You explained to Jason calmly, patting his shoulder while glancing at the Camp Crystal Lake entrance.
"B...B-uh...ut-uh...(Y-Y/n)...!" The masked male whined miserably, grabbing your wrist and stopping you from leaving the overall grounds. [A/N: "B...But (Y/n)...!"]
"No Buts, Mister. I'm sorry, but No means No." You sternly argued, throwing him a stubborn stare of your own and breaking free of his hand's grasp. "I'll be back here on Tuesday, m'kay...?"
"M'kay-uh..." Jason muttered under his breath moodily, agreeing to your demands and letting you go. "I-I...l-uh...ove...y-uh...ou..." [A/N: "M'kay...I-I...love you..."]
"I love you too. Even if you do annoy me sometimes." You teased playfully, nudging the side of his body with your elbow before planting a kiss on his cheek right afterwards.
"S-uh...See...y-uh...ou...next-uh...Tues...d-uh...ay-uh...?" The childminded killer pleaded with a hopeful glance in his eyes, seeing you greet the other four at the Crystal Lake Sign. [A/N: "S...See you...next Tuesday...?"]
"See you next Tuesday, Jason." You sincerely vowed, promising to keep your word once you'd waved Goodbye to the Crystal Lake Killer. Then, after you'd hugged and kissed the other four, you allowed them to walk you back home; none of them losing their tempers or starting a fight.
