Off On His Own... Ish (Part 6)

"So, you're the one which saved me?" Cynric asked with a smile. "You have my gratitude."

The captain of the ship gave him a smirk, twirling her elegantly curled hair in her jeweled hand. "I feel so honored." She took a sip from her wooden beer mug, eyeing the Prince with dark-royal blue eyes. She slammed her mug down with a grunt, crossing her legs in a mockingly elegant way. "The infamous prince from the emerald city? Giving thanks to me? Wow, must be my lucky day."

"Geez, I'll take back my apology then." Cynric rolled his eye-light, folding his arms. "Why did you even save us?"

The captain laughed. "SAVE you? We BOUGHT you." She smirked, signalling for a crew member to hand her a broad sword. Confidently, she held the blade up and right below Cynric's chin, teasing the bone around his neck. Cynric shivered. "I can do anything I want to you."

Cynric held up his hands, backing up a bit. "Hopefully not add me to a creepy dismembered limbs collection."

The captain stared at him with a 'What the f-' look. "What? No." She drew her sword back and placed it back into its sheath, rolling her eyes. "I'm having you work."

"You want a Prince, which has tons of servants which are willing to blink for him, work?" Violet interjected, putting down her hot chocolate.

Cynric looked over. "Hey, why does she get-"

"I want him to do something for me." The captain rolled up her sleeves, showing off her impressive scars and marks, most likely from past raids or adventures. "I want you to give me access to your kingdom."

Cynric has an immediate answer. "No."

The captain drew her sword again. "I don't think you have a choice."

Cynric stepped back. "Now hold on-"

"CYNRIC, CATCH!" Violet hollered.

A few seconds later, a sword was thrown his way. Cynric held out a hand, snagging the handle and fumbling with the sword before he finally grabbed onto it. He turned to Violet which only gave him a determined nod and a thumbs up. "Thanks!" He hollered back, swerving to face his for.

The pirate smiled, holding back a chuckle. "Do you even know what to do with that?"

"Surprisingly," The Prince held the sword up, straightening his back and allowing his right foot to push back just a little. "Yes, I do."

"Then let's see how well you do when I cut off your head!" And with that, the duel began.
The captain lunged forward, sword poised at his neck. Her footwork was fast and furious, giving Cynric little time to step out of her reach. He dodged to her left, swinging his sword down to slice open he'd back, only to have her blade counter his own and throw him off balance. She swept her foot underneath Cynric's unstable stance, properly knocking him to the ground. He groaned, having quiet flashbacks from the many times he found himself in the same position when he sparred with Cyrus.

With a satisfied grunt, she walked over to him and held her weapon high, threatening to plunge it in his chest. "You lose."

"Not yet." Cynric growled. In a flurry of movement, the captain slammed her sword down until she heard bone crack. She smiled in victory until she noticed what her sword actually hit. Cynric laid on his back, drawing in heavy breaths as the sword dug into a intricately woven shield made of bone. With a heave, he threw the shield aside, taking the sword with it. He leaned forward, using his now free arm to hoist his upper half off of the ground as the other pointed his sword at the captain's exposed neck, threatening to slice it open.

The captain stared in surprise.

Cynric couldn't help but smile a little.
He won.
Or so he thought.

"Too bad you're a boy." She hissed, her leg winding back and then kicking him nice and hard where the sun don't shine.

Cynric felt it crack.

Stunned, he dropped his sword as small tears slowly formed at the edges of his eye-sockets. He let out a small whimper of pain before he laid back down, grabbing at the wounded area.

Violet had flinched when he was kicked, grimacing. "Foul move."

Cynric let out a cry of pain when she stepped on the area again, smiling like a witch. "Now then, as I was saying about access to your kingdom-" she stopped when a sharp pain blossomed in her right side. Startled, she looked down, only to find a bone piercing straight through her abdomen. Blood seeped from the wound, trailing down the offending object and dripping onto Cynric's clothing.

He let out a breath, glaring at her. "B*tch."

The captain doubled over, clutching her side as her crew flocked to her aid. Cynric let out a bitter chuckle before wincing at the pain.
The horrible pain.

Violet had ran over. "Cynric?! Are you okay?"

"I-" Cynric let out a small whine. "I don't think I can ever have kids now-"

Violet frowned. "You wouldn't make a good father anyways."

Cynric laughed, crying a little afterwards from his area. "You're right."
