Home Free was rehearsing for their next cover and you were leaning against the wall, watching them in awe. Their harmonics were perfect and all of them were singing passionately. Being their new manager for months, you had this privilege to listen to their practice sessions whenever you wanted.

"How was it girl?" Austin beamed at you when they finished the session.

"It was mind blowing!" You cheered. "You were amazing and Adam's beatboxing was unbelievable!"

"How was my bass line?" Tim glanced at you.

"Haha. I didn't hear you well. You know bass parts are harder to hear." You shrugged.

Tim's face went blank at once. Austin laughed out loudly while the other boys were choking with giggles. You joined their silly giggles.

Tim walked up to you with no expression on his face. You stopped laughing and cleared your throat.

But Tim approached you closer and even when you pressed hard against the wall he didn't stop. He rested his hand against the wall and looked down at you. Your faces were merely a few inches apart.

The whole room went silent.

Tim glanced at you with those brown eyes behind those curtains of hair. He then leaned forward to your face and whispered gently into your ears with his deep bass voice. He was so close you could feel his warm breathe. Your whole body vibrated as he spoke.

"Now can you hear well loud and clear?"
