Today marks the end of Helena and Alexander's story. True, they will be mentioned often in the later books but for now the story focusing on them has reached completion.

This story took a lot longer to reach completion as compared to other books in the series because I had gotten into major writer's block with it time and again. But now I'm glad it has finally reached completion and that could not have been possible without all your support.

Alex and Helena have a much different dynamic as compared to Tim and Dora because they are the sort of couple who's unconventional in the sense that both of them belong to very different backgrounds and have lived very different lives. They are very opposite to each other that's why they have a bit of trouble in making things work.

I wanted to take their couple and show that not everything is a bed of roses in every relationship. And I also wanted to show that love isn't all that's needed in a healthy relationship, trust is just as important.

Helena has difficulty in trusting people because she's experienced a lot of injustice firsthand and it's very hard for her to come to terms with the fact that people like Alex who are genuinely caring and selfless exist too.

As for Alex, through Helena he has learnt a lot in life too such as the fact that even the toughest of hearts can be conquered through love and patience. And also that even the most intimidating of people have a deep hidden goodness in themselves which can show if only they are willing to embrace it.

Despite everything, Alex and Helena are a good match for each other and I wanted to show that even if things get rocky in life sometimes, what matters most is overcoming it by confiding in each other and being honest about it all.

I have ended their story on a happy note here and the ground is open for you readers to imagine how their relationship could have progressed from now onwards.

However, for more clarity to the later chapters of this book, check out the continuation of Tim and Dora's story in the third book of the Coffee And Liquor Series. It is titled Sugar Rush | T. Drake and continues from where the first book had ended.
