Chapter 1 - You told them?!
Meet Kendall Wallace, daughter of Jordan Wallace, charming, clever and gorgeous. Inheriting her father's blond hair, bright smile and knack for getting into trouble.
The girls spot their dads heading out of a cafe and nearing their car. They can't help but stand there in shock at seeing how young their fathers were.
"Damnnnn... they were kinda h-" Kendall began.
"Don't! Finish that sentence." Gabrielle warned.
Meet Gabrielle Lynch, daughter of Declan Lynch, headstrong, independent with a fiery temper to match her hair. Sharing her father's love of sports, delinquent tendencies and competitive flare.
"We should go say hi. Maybe the whole reason we're here is to interact with them," Kendall said, turning to her friends.
"We shouldn't, and they shouldn't meet us now. It's not the right time." Estelle dismissed.
Meet Estelle Frazier, daughter of Bennett Frazier, little miss cool, calm and collected. Mirroring her father's raven hair, poker face and rebellious nature.
"I'm going to look around, stay here. I'll be back in a bit. And don't do anything stupid." Estelle said before wandering off.
But stupid is all these girls know, Kendall being too busy watching her Dad and uncles to heed anything Estelle says, was off walking towards the boys.
"Hey, Jo-". She was cut off by Gabrielle, covering her mouth and dragging her back.
The boys noticed the blonde and the red-head wrestle with each other. The boys heard short curses and shouts.
"You can't just go up to him! What did Estelle just say?"
"But, how often do we get to see them like this? C'mon, I know you're curious."
Jordan turned to the boys grinning.
"Those girls are probably fighting over me."
He was met with unappreciated looks. Just as Gabrielle let go of Kendall, she tripped over an uneven part of the sidewalk. Declan moved to grab her from completely falling.
"Thanks, Dad."
This was met with silence. Gabrielle inwardly cringed as she looked up at Declan's very shocked face. She then turned to the others who had a similar sort of reaction and then to Kendall, who just facepalmed herself.
"What she means to say is, thanks, man."
Gabrielle stood up by herself and looked her Dad in the eyes. It was weird seeing himself without any facial hair. He looked like a boy still. She must have been staring since he backed up a bit and gave her a funny look. She coughed at this and muttered out another thanks.
Kendall didn't help by snorting at the situation. She then turned to Jordan and said.
"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Kendall." Taking his hand and shaking it. Jordan responded by introducing himself unsurely.
"Oh yeah, I know, you're Jordan." She waved him off and then turned to Declan and Bennett. "And you're Declan, and you're Bennett, though you all look rather different too."
"How do you know who we are?"
"Have we met before?"
"What do you mean we look different?"
Gabrielle just stood there shocked. Sometimes she didn't understand Kendall at all. They had a very, let's say, fragile relationship, one that matched their fathers.
The boys, again dumbfounded, questioned how she knew them. Kendall realised she probably shouldn't have said that, or anything at all for that matter. Estelle was going to give her a long lecture once they returned home.
Kendall stepped up unsurely towards the boys, laughing nervously.
"I don't know how to tell you this, but here goes... You see, we kind of fell into a time worm-hole and got dragged back to the past, like 25 years or so, and well, we're here standing in front of our... Dads."
She stepped forward again, standing in front of Jordan, her eyes sparkling, as she smiled softly at him. "Hi, Dad."
Just then, Estelle wandered back to them, muttering something about how there doesn't seem to be a way back.
She then stopped short, looking between the boys and her friends and back to the boys. Judging by the boys' dumbfounded looks, Kendall's guilty smile and Gabrielle's deep sigh, it could only mean one thing. "You told them?!"
