Who do you love more?

Let me just take the time to express myself.

KWKSOWNSKWKSOWKWNSKWKWKSKWKWNSKSKWNRBROSOWNSJSOWNDIDKWNEKDOSOWSKWKSKWKKWSKWKKWKSKSKWKWKWKWK.

Okay, I think I'm done.

Why did I decide to express myself?

Because this question really, really, REALLY annoys me. It's probably the most annoying question you could ask me, aside from "Did you prefer Michael Jackson when he was black or white?".

No. We're not even on that question today.

Today, we're here to acknowledge the irritating question:

"Who do you love more out of Michael or ... ?"

Yes, guys. THAT question.

Okay, so I hear this question almost every single day of my life. Whether it be completed with "Me", or "Your boyfriend", or "Your dad", or "Your mum", or "Your best friend" – I've heard it all.

Let's go through them one by one.

First off, is "Your boyfriend". This question is mainly asked by classmates, or my boyfriend himself. To anyone who asks me, I use the same response, "It's a different kind of love". Some people get that, and they forget the conversation five minutes later. Some, however, twist my words.

"Oh! It's Michael Jackson, isn't it? Becky! How could you love Michael Jackson more than your boyfriend!"

Um ... when did I ever, EVER say that?

Oh yeah ... I didn't!

I've not used this phrase in a while, but if I had a pound for every time that exact conversation came up, I would be a physical billionaire. No exaggeration. Well ... maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but you get my point.

Why do people twist my words, to make it seem as if I love Michael more than my boyfriend? I mean yeah, I may not be telling them that I think of Michael as a mental lover, but that's beside the point. They manipulate my answer as if my boyfriend means nothing to me. That's not fair.

Then, we move on to "Your dad". Um ... what? My dad isn't alive, too! I can't compare the two, because it's really a different kind of love! My father is obviously a parent kind of love, whilst Michael is an idol. Granted, sometimes when I'm in a more sentimental mood, I look up to Michael as a father figure, but other than that, he's my idol. My adorable, handsome, sweet, sexy idol. It would be a little strange saying that about my father now, wouldn't it?

Then, my mum. Like what? They're completely different! And besides, my mum has nearly the same explanation as my dad, other than the fact my mum is alive, and female. (Duh).

Then we have best friend. This one's actually an interesting one; sometimes I view Michael as my closest friend, because he kind of is. I think of Michael in so many different ways – as a lover, brother, father, best friend, etc. It really depends on my mood. But anyway, it's kind of impossible to compare best friends and Michael anyway, because of the fact that all my friends are my age, whereas Michael is forty years older than me. It's complicated, comparing them.

I think you get what I'm trying to say. Comparing Michael to everyone I know is not an easy task; in fact, it's nigh on impossible.

So ... non-Moonwalkers, just stop asking Moonwalkers who they love more. It's not fair ... okay?

I'm done.

Rant over.

Peace. ✌🏻️
