What was that?

Some weird demon?

I don't know.

I was breathing heavily as I locked the door and sat down on the floor of my classroom.

Summer camp didn't even start yet.

And people are already out to kill me.

I heard a knock on the door

I stayed silent

To my surprise I heard a girl on the other side

"E-Excuse me? I saw that d-demon try to h-hurt you. Are you alright?"
It spoke

I opened the door

An adorable small cat-girl stood in front of me

"Y-yeah"

I said

She walked in the classroom

"So is this YOUR nature retreat classroom?"
She asked

"Yeah."
I said

"Mine too!"
She said happily

"O-oh!" I answered

She looked at me

"I can tell we'll be friends!"
She said

Friend zoned already?

"Y-yeah your cool!"
I said

She laughed

And to my surprise she kissed me on my cheek

I felt my face heat up

She laughed

"I have to get back to my cabin! I'll see you around!"
She said

"Okay."
I said still blushing
