(Garroth)

I woke up to laughter.

I looked out a window and saw that it was night time. I walked out to see Laurence, Dante, Zenix, and Aphmau all talking and laughing, and eating.

"Oh hey, Garroth, how'd you sleep?" Zenix asked. I scratched the back of my head, yawning.

"Fine, how long was I out?"

"Seven or eight hours"

"I'm starved, you guys didn't wake me for food?"

"You looked too cute while you slept, I didn't want to disturb you" Aphmau said innocently. I smiled and kissed her cheek. "And the others were scared because you supposedly are scary when you're forced to wake up"

"Only if it's an ugly face like Dante's"

"I take offense to that!" Dante exclaimed.

I picked Aphmau up, because there wasn't enough room for five, so I sat in her spot next to Zenix, setting her in my lap.

They were eating fries and chicken. I ate some of Aphmau's fries, hungry beyond belief. She slapped my hand and continued her meal, I occasionally snuck some of her food past her.

"We made some for you" she sighed, getting up and grabbing a plate of food and handing it to me. I kissed her cheek in thanks and started devouring the food.

"So what were you guys talking about?"

"Well, we were just telling stories" Laurence informed. I nodded, not being able to talk as my mouth was full.

"Yeah, they told me some pretty interesting stories about you" Aphmau laughed, "like your first kiss"

I choked on my food, coughing and blushing. I took a drink of water, trying to stop choking.

"They did?" My voice cracked and that only made me blush a deeper red. Aphmau giggled and nodded, cupping my face.

"And I think it's adorable that you missed her lips"

They all started laughing, and I just sat there being embarrassed.

"Wait till we tell you what he did when puberty came knocking"

"Oh, would you look at the time, come on Aphmau, I think it's time for you go to sleep" I picked her up and carried her away.

"Wait! I wanna hear the stories!" She squealed, wiggling and trying to get out of my grip. I only tightened my arms around her, not letting her hear any more embarrassing stories. "Please baby?" She gave me puppy dog eyes, cupping my face and making me pause halfway.

"You don't need to be hearing those adventures" I reminded her, continuing to drag her away.

"Come on, Garroth, if she sticks with you even after she hears about the time you tried dancing at a school dance and ended up knocking over the whole snack table, then you know she's loyal. Think of it as...a test" Dante peered down the hallway, smirking. I slowly set her on the ground, but kept my arms around her.

"Yeah, a test, I promise I'll pass with flying colours"

I sighed as she gave me her begging gaze again. I looked at the ceiling, praying to Irene that she would let the floor swallow me whole.

"Fine" I sighed. She grinned and pecked my lips, skipping back to the table. I grabbed my plate and sat on the counter, going through my phone.

I tried to ignore the embarrassing stories, but I couldn't contain the harsh blush that coated my face and neck.

It became late, and everyone started to head to bed. But I wasn't tired, cause I slept for over half the day.

"I'm so tired" Aphmau yawned and sat next to me on the counter, leaning her head on my shoulder.

"I'm not"

"Of course you aren't" she sighed, holding my chin and making me look at her, "we're alone..." She whispered. I smirked and placed a hand on her waist.

"So we are"

I leaned my forehead on hers, touching our noses. She let out a silent giggle and sat on my lap, wrapping her legs around my waist.

Our lips touched, like a whisper of a kiss. Her hands slid form my chest to my hair, twisting it in her hands. The kiss became less shy, and I picked her up, carrying her to the bed. I put her on the bed, a small giggle escaping her lips.

"We can hear you!" Zenix yelled.

"Maybe if we're very quiet..." I whispered close to her ear.

"We can still hear you!" Laurence called.

I sighed and just laid in the bed beside her. She cuddled up to me, placing her head on my chest. I pulled the blankets over her shoulders, rubbing her back soothingly.

"Goodnight, I love you" I kissed the top of her head.

"I love you too" she yawned.

I was fine just laying there with her in my arms, soaking in the moment for what it was.

The next morning was the second day on the bus, and I was the first one up. I started making breakfast, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Dale started the bus again, and that woke Laurence up. Dale had parked at a truck stop so he could sleep. Laurence sat at the table, leaning his head sleepily on his hand. I gave him the first plate, and he gave me a silent thanks.

Zenix woke up, already dressed and ready for the day. He's one of those insane people who are happy and awake in the mornings.

"Good morning!" He chirped, I only sighed and handed him a plate.

Zenix's loud morning greeting woke up Aphmau, who was a relatively light sleeper. She wrapped an arm behind my back and hugged me.

"Morning" she went on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek.

"Morning" she grabbed the plate and sat at the table, but not before grabbing extra bacon.

Dante finally woke up an hour after everyone else, thus having to grab his own plate and stand while eating.

"So we're gonna reach O'Khasis at the end of today?" Aphmau questioned, I nodded and continued eating my food.

"And then we do the concert tomorrow night, and then leave the next morning" Laurence explained.

After breakfast, we all just sat around and talked.

The bus stopped and we all piled off for some fresh air. We stopped in ScalesWind, and Dante ran off to visit Nicole, Laurence went to find Cadenza, Zenix went with Dale to get more food for the bus.

Aphmau grabbed my wrist and pulled me back onto the bus.

"What's going on?" I chuckled in a whisper.

"Now we're officially alone" she whispered back, and I smirked, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Then why are we whispering?"

"Cause it's more intimate" she leaned closer to my face, moving her hands around my neck. I laughed some more and closed the space between our lips.

I slowly moved so I was pinning her to the wall of the bus. I interlocked our fingers, moving her hands above her head. I kissed her jaw and then to her neck.

It was weird, like when we did have alone time, the need to kiss her like this wasn't such a strong temptation. But once the freedom was taken from us, and our time together was shortened, it's like the need to have her lips on mine is more present.

I guess it's true saying you always want what you can't have.

A/N Oh look, Hope's posting! And if any of you are wondering about my plans for when this book is done....no I don't plan a sequel, but I might start posting my one shots, or maybe work on one of my three secret projects?

Yeah, I do have secret projects sitting in my drafts, three of them....and then there's a few in my head, but those won't be official until they collect theoretical dust in my drafts like the other three.
