Ram  drops Amayra's friends home while Mukti is still struggling to get out of the ATM counter. Abhimanyu  tells her that for the first time in his life, he doesn't want to go back to his world. He wants to be with Mukti all his life. Mukti is almost in a dilemma where she on one hand she is moved by Abhimanyu 's words but on the other, her head tells her not to go ahead.

Nandini pacifies Saloni and tells her that they will together take strong action against the person who has done this to her. Before Nandini could take Saloni to the hospital, Manik Malhotra  comes in and orders Nandini to get back to work. However, he then secretly tells a person from his office to arrange for a car to drop Saloni home and also call a doctor, without anyone knowing that Manik has arranged all of it for Saloni.
Meanwhile, shayam Gupta, the person who raped Saloni warns Nandini against mentioning anything about the incident to Manik or else she'll land up in deep trouble. He however is confident that even if Nandini reports the incident to Manik, he will not believe it since he doesn't trust women and shayam is in his good books.

Unperturbed by his warnings, Nandini reports the entire incident to Manik and requests him to take some action. Manik is shocked hearing about it!

Abhimanyu  is worried about losing Mukti when unknowingly Nikhil gives him an idea. Abhimanyu  decides to speak to his and Mukti's parents before approaching her again. And surprisingly, Mohan Thakkar agrees, much to the dismay of his wife. Rajvardhan Malhotra  also decides to get Abhimanyu  engaged to Mukti

Mrs Thakkar is shocked when Rajvardhan tells her and Mohan about Abhimanyu  and Mukti's engagement. He then reveals that they will get them engaged, get the papers of the land signed by Ram  and then create a situation to break the engagement. Everyone unanimously agree with Rajvardhan's plan.

Nandini assures Saloni that she will get justice and they will together expose shayam. However, she's in for a shocker when Manik sides shayam and orders Saloni to quit the job that very moment. Moreover, he promotes shayam and despite various efforts by Nandini, he refuses to listen to her and declares that women make up stories for their benefit and he can never trust them.

Meanwhile, Abhimanyu  bumps into Mukti and Ram . Ram  recognizes him as his student and is happy seeing him successful. Abhimanyu  tells Manik about him proposing to Mukti for marriage. Manik tells him that he has gone insane. Abhimanyu  tells him that he is waiting for the day Manik will fall in love and only that day will he take back his own words.

Nandini doesn't lose hope and makes up a plan to trap shayam and get the truth out. She sweet-talks shayam and he invites her to his residence as his wife and kids are out. Nandini gathers courage and goes to his place. She almost thought she would succeed in her mission when the unexpected happened. shayam played a double game with her and summoned the entire office staff including Manik to his place. shayam blames Nandini for being a sub-standard girl and trying to lure him. Nandini tries to explain but Manik will not hear anything. He fires her from the job!

Nandini knows that it is useless giving any explanation to anyone, since they've all got her wrong and there is now ay out. She's about to leave when Manik tells her that he wasn't talking to her, but to shayam. He has fired shayam from his job. Everyone's stunned hearing this. Manik then reveals that he had put up CCTV cameras all over the place to track Nandini's activities. One of the cameras captured shayam entering the store room and forcing Saloni in it. Moreover, shayam had earlier told Manik that he was with his family the night of the incident but unknowingly revealed later that his family has been out of town for a week. Manik tells everyone that it is now a police case and they will handle shayam.
Manik tells Nandini that though her intentions were right, she could have landed up in deep trouble by going to shayam's place alone. He also tells her that he cares for human beings, be it a woman or a man. Nandini and Saloni are stunned on discovering this side of Manik.

It is Manik's birthday the next day. He remembers the first 4 years of his life when his mom was by his side.

Rajvardhan gifts him their old house, where they stayed before they moved to Mumbai.

Nandini narrates the entire incident of the previous night to her Badi Ma and wonders what kind of a person Manik is. Saloni tells Nandini to give flowers to Manik on her behalf but Manik gets extremely wild on Nandini since he assumes Nandini has given them

Meanwhile, Rajvardhan Malhotra , Mohan Thakkar and his wife  go to Sukh Nivas with a marriage proposal for Mukti for Abhimanyu . Mukti gets extremely upset. She tells Ram  to tell them all about the truth; that she is not his daughter but his daughter-in-law; His late son Flight Lt. Harshad Murthi's wife!

Back in office, Manik is about to leave to visit his old house when he spots a cake kept on his desk. He assumes it has been kept by Nandini and fires the life out of her. She then tells him she did not keep the cake and she has better things to do than to celebrate Manik's birthday. Out of frustration, Manik throws the cake out of the door but it accidently hits Nandini and the cake is smashed on her face
