{Cloud's Point of view}

I heard a bang and every piece of fur on my neck stood up. I ran forward and pushed midnight on the ground as a stinging pain went threw my ear.

"Cloud!" I heard Kat yell as I looked down. I saw blood all over me and smiled up at Kat, to show that I was ok, but then everything went black.

"Where am I?" I asked myself as I looked around. I couldn't see anything or hear anything except for the sound of me breathing.

Just then, a light started burning in front of me. I ran towards it and looked inside, and I saw Kat! She was standing over the dead body of a girl I didn't know. She looked human. As I looked closer, I realized that Kat was crying. I shifted positions and my knee popped and Kat spun around to face me.

"You shouldn't be here!" She yelled as she climbed out of the light. She was as tall as the building the scientist kept us in.

I started running and realized that she was chasing me. She was getting closer and closer when I felt the ground disappear beneath me. I screamed as I started falling and falling and falling.

"Ah!" I yelled as my eyes flew open. I was laying in a tree with skittlez on a branch beside me and Kat on a branch below me. 'She looks uncomfortable.' I thought to myself. I noticed that midnight was sleeping at the bottom of the tree, curled up in a ball.

I swept my ears back to cool then down, but as I moved my left ear a pain went through it. I remembered the gun shooting me as I felt bandages around my head.

I swiftly jumped down and landed beside midnight, careful not to wake her and started walking towards the sound of running water. I found a stream and waded out to the middle and dunked my head under, careful not to get my left ear under. The cool water felt refreshing.

I climbed out and shook myself dry, only licking my tail and paws because they got the most dirty and made my way back to the tree. I noticed Kat beginning to stir so I just sat on the ground and waited for her.

"Cloud! I'm glad you're okay." She said quickly with relief in her voice.

"Me too. How did I get here?" I asked her. I remembered my dream so I ever so carefully scooted over a little bit.

"Well, when you got shot, me and midnight carried you here. Skittlez found this place. I just wish that it wasn't a tree." She said as she made her back pop. "Why are you wet?" She asked as she looked at me.

"I found a stream so I waded out into it to cool down." I said as I noticed skittlez jump out of the tree.

"Cloud!" She yelled as she gave me a hug. "How are you feeling?" She asked as she looked at my ear.

"Fine." I said as I hugged her back and she sat beside me. "Thanks." I said as I looked up at the sky. "Hey we should get a move on." I said. "If we want to find even a road today then we need to start walking. It looks like it's about 5:30 in the morning." I said as I stood up.

"Someone wake up midnight." Kat said as she glared at her.

"I will." Skittlez said as she walked over to her and shook her with her foot.

"What?" Midnight asked groggily.

"Let's go. We need to find some kind of civilization." Skittlez said as she watched midnight get up.

"Let's head north." Kat said as we started walking.

"And guys, be careful. I noticed some pot holes over here when I went to use the bathroom." Midnight said as I looked around more carefully.

I noticed a a pot hole in front of me and Kat was heading right for it. "Kat look out. There's a pot hole right in front of you." I said as Kat carefully went around it.

"How did you see that?" Skittlez asked as she looked at me.

"I've always been able to see well in the dark." I explained to all of them.
