Chapter 15

On the way back home, Zhan bought food for us from the road. When we got home, he made me a fresh cup of tea, took me in his arms, and I calmly told him all what had happened today. "If he tries anything again, just punch him in the face. Hit him as hard as you can. I know you can do it. You're strong and you can really hurt him. Don't take any shit, okay?"

"I will, I promise. I was just so shocked earlier because I wasn't expecting it."

"I understand that my cutie. But for next time, you know the drill. Hit him, kick him, anything. Just don't let him do anything to you that you don't want him to."

"Mmm, I will." I replied and snuggled up to my Hubby. We then ate together and both went out to the garden afterwards. All the while, I could see Zhan in his overalls. He was wearing this sleeveless white shirt and all I could think was, wow that's my boyfriend.

When we went back into the house in the evening, the pond was ready. Only a few lamps and stones as decoration around it and it is perfect. Tomorrow we want to lay the sidewalk from the fireplace to the pond. Zhan wants me to show him exactly how I want it done. He told me from now on this is my garden and I can do what I want and he will totally follow my lead.

For dinner Zhan made us baked potatoes with herb curd. He took a quick shower while the potatoes were in the oven and I read a little more in the book he gave me. When he came back from the shower, he sat down next to me, put his arms around me, and asked, "Do you like the book so much that you're reading through it again now?"

"I love the book. And honestly, I think Wei Ying wrote it. I know you won't tell me until Sunday, but I'm 100% sure by now."

"How can you be sure?"

"I know his writing style. It's not like I just became his fan yesterday."

"I see. So what if he wrote it? What then?"

"Then I would be overjoyed, because I would be the first to read this masterpiece, before anyone else. And I would keep this book in a safe place."

"The author means a lot to you huh?"

"Yes, in a way. Not as much as you, that's for sure. Still, I'm a big fan of his." Zhan kissed my forehead and smiled.

"You're so incredibly cute, I just can't believe it. Well, you read on and I'll check on dinner."

"Mmm, love you Hubby."

"Love you too my cute prince." Replied Zhan and went into the kitchen. I read through a few more pages until Zhan came with the food. He even fed me so I could keep reading. He totally spoils me. I can really see how he enjoys it and of course I like it too.

After dinner, though, I put the book to the side and watched another movie with Zhan before we both went to bed. I snuggled into his arms and we fell asleep.

The next morning, right after breakfast, Zhan and I went to the hardware store. Zhan insisted on being present during the conversation with my boss, since he also witnessed Wei Yin's attack.

I calmly told my boss all that had happened, Zhan confirmed it, and then my boss surprisingly said, "Okay, then I'll fire him today. I won't let one of my employees here be harassed by another. I can't stand that weirdo anyway. It's a good thing you talked to me about it."

"Yeah, luckily my boyfriend arrived in time. I was way too shocked to react."

"Well, you're lucky you have such a great boyfriend and he stepped in right away. Others might not have realized immediately that you were being harassed." Replied my boss. I was amazed that he didn't say anything because I immediately made it clear that Zhan was my boyfriend and not just a friend.

"Thank you for understanding and doing something about it." I said.

"No problem. But good thing you're here right now, I wanted to talk to you anyway. Yesterday I was checking who still had vacation days that weren't on the schedule yet. Then I saw that you still have 4 vacation days from last year. You absolutely have to take them. So what do you think about taking today and the rest of the week off? You could spend the time with your boyfriend."

"Um yeah sure. I didn't even know I had vacation days left over from last year. Our former boss was reluctant to give us vacation and so I had never asked him about it and totally forgot." I replied.

"Mhhh, so I can take my boyfriend with me right now?" Asked Zhan.

"Sure. Besides, he's earned a few days off. He's one of our hardest workers here."

"Yes, at home he always works a lot and hard in our garden too."

"Ah you live together?"

"Not officially yet. But I hope soon. Right now we're renovating our house together. Of course, it's all with items from this hardware store that Yibo warmly recommended to me." Said Zhan with a smile.

"We do offer quality goods, after all. It may be a little more expensive than some others, but, it's high quality, which you can see."

"That's right. Yibo showed me a parquet floor, I liked it immediately. Laid out in the living room, it looks really classy."

"I'm glad to hear that. And it pleases me very much. Well Yibo, then I wish you some nice relaxing days off." Said my boss.

I nodded and then left my boss's office after saying goodbye. And Wei Yin, of all people, ran into us. He said, "Yibo wait a minute."

I spun around to face him and asked, "What do you want?"

"Are you still not ready to admit that you want me too?" He asked, touching my shoulder.

At that moment, it was enough for me. I took his hand off my shoulder and shoved my knee into his soft part. "Don't you ever touch me again you piece of shit or I'll break all your fingers and make sure you never be able to fuck anyone. I swear to God!"

My boss came running into the hallway, grabbed Wei Yin who was crouched on his knees in front of me, huffing and puffing, and dragged him into his office with him. Zhan raised his hand and I chimed in.

"Well done my cute prince. Don't ever take any crap from anyone. I'm proud of you!"

"Thanks, I'm proud of myself too. But Hubby? What am I supposed to do with my free time now?"

"Well, we'll go to my work first, I'll introduce you to my boss, then I'll ask him if I can take the rest of the week off, because even though the vacation I had, I still have days off too, and then we'll go home."

"Then we can finish the garden."

"Right. Then tomorrow we'll do in the garden what we can't do today and then we'll go to the observatory."

"You Hubby?"

"Mhm?"

"Shall we go bathing together tonight?"

"Together? Um, yeah sure."

"Well, I mean, you've already seen me naked. So I should be allowed to see you naked too. And besides, the bathtub is big enough for both of us."

"Ah, so you just want to take a bath with me so you can see me Naked?"

"Not only. But I admit I'm curious."

"Mhm, I can notice that already. But sure, you're right. We'll take a bath together tonight if you really want to." Replied Zhan.

We then went to his car and drove to the auto repair shop where he introduced me to his boss. Although he already knew me as a customer, this time Zhan officially introduced me to him as his boyfriend. His boss extended his huge hand to me and laughed, "I knew something was going on. As cheerful as our Zhan has been these past days and weeks, I figured there was someone in his life who could make him shine like that." He said.

Zhan then introduced me to his two colleagues, who reacted similarly to the boss. They were all very friendly and open towards me and I immediately felt comfortable there.

Then we all went to the staff area and the boss even made extra tea for me when I told him I didn't like coffee. They were telling me some funny things about Zhan when there was a knock on the door and a beautiful heavily pregnant woman came in. I knew immediately that this had to be Zhan's cousin Yanli. She and Zhan have almost the same smile.

Zhan said to her, "You are lucky that I am still here. Because I'm going to take the rest of the week off. Oh, and this, this is my Yibo."

I stood up and wanted to shake Yanli's hand. But instead she hugged me and pressed her belly against my abs, at that moment the baby kicked and I could feel it. "Wow was that your baby kicking just now?" I asked amazed and excited.

"Yes, he is a little restless today." She replied. She took my hand and put it on her belly and the little guy inside was boxing and kicking at my hand. It was an incredible feeling. I couldn't get enough of it.

Yanli giggled and said to Zhan, "Wow your Yibo is really cute. God I would love to pinch his cuddly cheeks."

"You better not do that, if anyone can do it, it's me." Replied Zhan with a laugh.

I didn't care what they were talking about, I was busy with Yanli's belly because the little creature inside fascinated me. The feeling of being able to feel the kicks and punches was just indescribable.

And only after two or three minutes, I saw a little boy peeking out from behind Yanli. "That's my brother." He said softly.

"And are you looking forward to seeing your little brother?" I asked.

"Mhm, I'll be a big brother soon and I can always protect my little brother."

"My big brother always protects me too."

"And my uncle Zhan too yes?"

"Yes, your uncle Zhan too. I'm Yibo, by the way."

"My name is A-Jing."

"It's nice to meet you A-Jing." I replied. Apparently the ice was broken between us because he came forward behind his mom, took my hand and put it back on her belly. Then after a minute he even wanted to sit on my lap.

"Uncle ZhanZhan, look where I'm sitting!" Cheered the little guy.

"Yeah, I can see that already. I guess you like Yibo."

"Yeah, he's cool."

"Mhm that's right my friend." Replied Zhan with a grin.

Yanli said she was really looking forward to seeing what I made of the garden and is excited to meet my brother. I am also very excited about it. And I'm also excited to finally meet Cheng, and at the same time I hope he's as nice as Yanli.

We all talked for another half hour before Yanli and A-Jing went on their way again and Zhan and I went home. I still wondered all the way home what an incredible feeling it was to be able to feel the kicks and punches in Yanli's belly.

Zhan laughingly told me that A-Jing was much more active in her belly then than the baby is now. "I once accompanied her for an ultrasound and it looked like he was dancing in her belly. He was kicking and punching, and the doctor laughed every time the ultrasound sensor went up because the little one was kicking it."

Once home, we changed clothes and got to work. The garden should be finished today. And then later, Zhan and I will bathe together for the first time. I'm curious when I'll find the courage to tell him that I'm ready for more.
