When Zhan returned home from his appointment at the publishing house in the afternoon, he saw Yibo lying on the sofa and crawling his belly. The belly, which is now already very visible and is sticking out like half a soccer, proves how well the twins are developing and growing steadily. Yibo is now halfway through the sixth month of pregnancy.

Since the 16th week of pregnancy, Yibo could feel the twins moving inside of him. But now these movements are even visible. Again and again you can see small bumps on the belly when the little ones box or kick from the inside. And whenever a fist, head or foot sticks out, Yibo lovingly crawls it.

This morning, when Doctor Takash came again with his assistant and examined Yibo, he could also finally see the genders of the babies. They are both girls! Yibo was absolutely right with his assumption and was completely beside himself with joy. First he laughed because he was right and then he cried with joy because his wish came true and he will become the daddy of two girls.

Zhan had to promise him that when he got back from his appointment at the publishing house, they would both go to the baby store and get girls' clothes for the babies. Yibo can still hide his belly well with his big thick winter jacket, but soon he won't. That's why he also urged Zhan that it must be today. Because Yibo wants to have the cutest possible baby clothes for his daughters and choose them himself.

And of course, Yibo wants to buy these things from the store, if only to check their quality. In addition, they also need a stroller for twins and car seats, or rather, baby seats for cars.

So when Zhan came home unnoticed by Yibo and watched him crawling his belly, Zhan couldn't help but smile. Because Yibo was just telling the twins about his first real date with their dad and how excited he had been.

"Once you two are born, you'll realize how great your dad is. He is so loving and spoils me. Believe me, once he holds you in his arms, he will love you to death. But he already does. He is looking forward to seeing you as much as I am." Yibo told.

Zhan carefully crept up to the sofa and squatted behind the backrest. He liked watching Yibo too much and was always fascinated by his stunningly cute looks and sweet ways. "When your dad gets home later, he and I will go shopping. I'll pick out the cutest things for you girls. So you'll be the cutest babies in the whole world. But I'm sure you will be even without clothes. Oh how I'd love to know what you look like right now. But that doesn't mean you should hurry up now. Take as much time as you can. I promise, even if it will be exhausting, I will enjoy every day that you are inside me." Spoke Yibo to his belly.

A month ago at the last checkup, Doctor Takash had already told Yibo that he probably, could only get pregnant this one time and there will not be a second time. The doctor said, "So far, none of the men who got pregnant had ever been able to have more than one pregnancy." He explained it was because Yibo asked what would happen for him and Zhan after the pregnancy and if they would need to use protection again.

While Yibo could definitely imagine having more than 2 children with Zhan, he wouldn't want to push it either. Because this pregnancy is a miracle, but also dangerous for him. And Yibo knows that if he were to get pregnant again and lose the baby or babies, he would not be able to cope. Not after experiencing this pregnancy now and enjoying so much feeling the little ones inside him.

When Zhan finally made his presence known, Yibo laughed and told Zhan that he had already seen him in the TV's reflection. "How was your appointment at the publishing house? Did you guys come to an agreement?" Zhan has written a children's book, which the publisher wants to publish, however, they want Zhan to draw illustrations for it so that the children who are to read this book will have nice pictures to look at.

"Mhm, we came to an agreement. I'll draw the pictures and get paid extra per picture."

"That's good. So "My Little Dream Prince" will be available in bookstores soon?"

"Not yet. First I have to draw the pictures and then we'll see. But the publisher is very interested and they definitely want me to let them publish the book."

"Has any other publisher also shown interest?"

"No. I haven't shown it to any other publisher. And my publisher is, after all, a children's book publisher, among other things."

"Okay. The twins are awake right now, say hello to them quickly, then I'll go change and we can go."

Zhan squatted in front of Yibo on the sofa and kissed Yibo's belly. "Hello my cute princesses, I hope you are well. Get ready to be rocked in a minute when I go shopping with your daddy."

And as if they both understood, little bumps had started to appear on Yibo's belly again. Zhan stroked Yibo's belly, kissed it again, and then helped Yibo stand up.

Yibo walked to the stairs and stopped, laughing. "The twins seem crazy about their dad already. They've been partying in my belly ever since you talked to them." Zhan laughed as well and stroked the belly again. He felt the movements of the two and was totally touched by it, as he was every time.

An hour later, the two had arrived at the baby supply store. They first looked at some toys for babies before they discovered a great stroller that is for twins and is also of a very good quality. Yibo took the stroller and pushed it in front of him until they reached the baby rompers.

Yibo found the cutest rompers, tights, baby bodysuits and even baby dresses with great prints. He also found tiny baby hair clips with pink bows on them. He packed everything into the stroller while Zhan looked at the baby car seats.

When Yibo arrived with the packed stroller, Zhan asked him with a grin, "Are you sure you have everything now? There's still a tiny empty spot in the stroller."

"Yes I know, it's a bit of an exaggeration. But we'll definitely have to change the twins more than once a day because they'll be spitting up a lot. And I found some cute baby pajamas too."

"Go ahead and buy as much as you want Yibo. But remember to get something in a size bigger already too, the little ones will grow fast."

"Yes I already thought of that and a few clothes are one or two sizes bigger. Will you help me pick out hats and jackets?"

"Sure. I don't think I'll find the baby seats I have in mind here anyway. I order those online directly from the manufacturer."

"Oh Hubby, we need baby bottles for Xin and Yini too. Doctor Takash orders us very good baby food from Germany (Milchwerke Mittelelbe GmbH ;) that's where my mother works.)"

"Okay. Now let's look for jackets and hats." Replied Zhan.

The two were in the store for another hour or so before they paid, loaded everything into Zhan's pickup, and then drove together to the small park and bought two hot blueberry waffles and walked around the park some more.

Back home, they stowed all the new stuff in the nursery and then cooked dinner together. Yibo wants to learn to cook from Zhan from now on, so that he can prepare meals for the twins later as well. Because he wants to be a good daddy for them. And later, when the twins are old enough, he wants to teach them how to cook.

After dinner, Zhan and Yibo were in the reading room. Yibo was reading the new book Cheng wrote, his second, and Zhan was starting the drawings for his first children's book.

Taking a break from reading, Yibo asked, "Tell me Hubby, did you know that Cheng also wants children?"

Zhan took off his glasses, sat down next to Yibo and wrapped his arms around him, replying, "Yes, he told me. But your brother said he wanted to wait with it. He's busy with his work these days and is often home late. He said to Cheng, after talking to you, he knows he doesn't want to be a dad who is always away. But instead wants to be a dad who spends time with his child or children."

"When Cheng was here yesterday and gave me the book, he told me he was quite jealous because I am able to get pregnant."

Then she unwrapped the chocolate, held it under my nose and the twins immediately went crazy. All of a sudden I was hungry for chocolate. And when I had eaten it, your aunt stroked my belly and said, don't worry you two, your great aunt knows what you like to eat."

"Mmm, Henry's like that, too, though. You and I had eaten at home, went to his place and he held all kinds of goodies under your nose."

"Yeah, I've gained almost 7 kilograms because of them."

"But the doctor said it's normal because they're twins. But you should still be careful not to eat too much and gain too much weight."

"I know Hubby. He told me that again this morning. Thank goodness we don't go to our relatives every day. Otherwise you'd really have to roll me everywhere soon."

"Love you too my cute prince. Now read some more and then we'll go to bed soon. Our princesses need some rest."

Yibo looked over at Zhan happily every now and then, happy to have such a great husband. He still feels that tingle in his stomach every day when he thinks of Zhan and how much they love each other. And Yibo is firmly convinced that he will continue to feel that tingle for a very long time. Because Zhan is his great love and he falls in love with him anew every day.
