LYRICS + REASONING

Jongsu's always felt that he's only part of something bigger, and he's okay with that. Runner up lyrics:

Yeah, it's kind of a love song. Is anyone surprised? He's a big sap, and loves Dohyun so, so much. I chose these lyrics specifically because Jongsu feels safe and protected when he's with Dohyun.

And the reverse is true as well. If Dohyun needs him, Jongsu will drop anything to be there, no matter what. Another huge part of this song is finding comfort and power in each other, and I think that's so them.

Now for something a little sadder. Jongsu's biological father died a few months back (sorry I had to make rp interesting-), and it hit him so much harder than he expected. This song is reflecting on that.

Sometimes Jongsu doesn't feel like he's enough, or like everything is falling apart around him. In those times, he relies on his members and his boyfriend, to hold him up and remind him that it'll be okay.

And back to the love songs. This one is about falling, about looking at the person you love and realizing that you couldn't do anything about it, you're gone now, so in love and you wouldn't change it for the world. And that's Jongsu and Dohyun.

Okay, this one has two reasons. One, in the world of HQ, Fantasia is the debut song of Jongsu's group. Second, I've always imagined Jongsu thinking of Dohyun every time he sings these lines.

I had to sneak MCR in there somewhere. This is a song about being exactly who you are no matter what the world says, no matter what could happen, and that makes so much sense for a couple of gay kpop idols lol.

This one I added because to me, Jongsu is a character who has to fight to be himself, and he really wants to, no matter how hard it is. Also yes, specifically the original Korean version of the song. It hits different.

For this one, it's actually about the members of Mirage, and how Jongsu can't imagine doing this with anyone else. He loves those boys like they're his own kids, and he really does think they're better together.

This is honestly just a cute little song addressed to Dohyun. Jongsu was willing to wait for him, no matter what.

Back to his group, and thinking about all they still can achieve—and Jongsu's firm belief that they can, no matter what.

Jongsu cares too much. That's a given. He breaks down when he feels overwhelmed with all the pressure and responsibility he puts on himself, and he's afraid that he won't be as loved as (I think) he deserves. Not that he tells anyone that-

Final song! This one is more vibes than the others, and Jongsu's belief that Dohyun is literally the best person to walk this earth. He wouldn't be surprised if Dohyun was an angel.
