PERSONALITY
Kit is introverted, and thus tends to be rather quiet, keeping to himself. Because of this, he can be really perceptive, though he still somehow trusts too easily, for the most part. Kit's loyal to the few friends he has—he's a bit too weird for most people, to be honest. And despite being quiet, Kit is not shy, and has been known to flirt—these days he mostly saves that for his boyfriend, though.

BACKGROUND

Kit was raised as the youngest child, and it kind of shows. His father was a history professor, and his mother stayed at home with Kit and his two older siblings. Kit was very much the baby of the family, seven years younger than Mimi, and thus was kind of alone a lot growing up. He played by himself, as his siblings were "too old" or "too busy", his only real friend the son of a family friend, Onyx, who was also older than Kit. Kit didn't mind much, being quiet and good at being alone even then.
When Kit was ten, his father was fired from his job for sleeping with several of his female students, which caused a major upset in the family. Kit's parents divorced, and their mother won custody of Kit and Mimi. Jay, who was an adult, supported their father. Suffice it to say that Kit hasn't seen his brother in a long time.
After the divorce, life was a little bit harder for the remnants of the family. Even after Mimi went to university, they struggled sometimes with money, and Onyx's family had to help out some. Right before Kit finished high school, though, his mom got a much better job, which was great, as she managed to talk Kit into pursuing his dreams instead of getting a job to help her with bills.
So Kit went to university, studying linguistics, though when he was about halfway through, he figured out that he wasn't actually that interested in getting a job in the field, but rather in music. Kit was that kid in high school who lived with his headphones on, and that really hasn't changed much. He loves music, and took enough dance lessons growing up that he's pretty good at it, so he figured—why not?
He dropped out of university his senior year and relocated to South Korea in order to A) join Onyx, who was also interested in music, and B) hopefully have a decent chance of going somewhere with his life.

at first, kit had no idea what he felt about ash (who he now calls babe or handsome). to kit, it seemed like ash did nothing but get on his nerves, even though he couldn't stop paying attention to him. kit's best friend onyx kept pushing them to hang out, though, and so it was at an arcade where kit finally snapped and kissed ash for the first time—kit's first kiss ever, by the way. they've been dating ever since.
