PERSONALITY
Ari can be described as... a bit of an airhead. He's a dreamer, always with some kind of lofty goal in his head, and known to be very silly and playful. He has a habit of running away from responsibility, and being easily frightened by the general prospect of being an adult. However, Ari does care a lot about the people in his life, especially his baby son, Yuki.

BACKGROUND

Ari is the younger of two children, born three years after his sister Jeonmi. He had a perfectly normal childhood, in all honesty. Sure, he had issues with attention—not enough for anyone to actually diagnose him with the ADHD he for sure has, but you know—and seemed to believe in fairy tales much longer than most kids. But his actual life was pretty normal. Ari's parents enrolled both their kids in dance classes in elementary school, though Jeonmi dropped it after a couple years, while Ari stuck with it.
At seventeen, Ari dropped out of high school. He joined a dance crew, won a few competitions, and worked random minimum-wage jobs for a while, until he joined HQ only a few months after they opened. He fit in well at HQ, and did well as a trainee—until he got scared of all the pressure.
About a year and a half ago, Ari... quit. He just left, not telling anyone but the CEO, and went to Japan, a place he'd always wanted to visit. He found a job there, and met a girl he liked—after a few dates, they decided to be official. And a few months after that, she got pregnant. They decided to try being parents, though they were both young, and honestly? Ari was excited. His girlfriend Satomi, however, was a bit less so. Sure, she wanted to try, but she wasn't as gung-ho as Ari was.
Their son, Yuki, was born in April of 2024, and for a while, it was going all right—until Satomi decided a few weeks ago that she isn't cut out for this after all and left Ari, giving full care of Yuki to him. Ari... kind of panicked for a minute, and once again practically ran away, though he took Yuki with him—he used all his savings to fly back to Seoul and got his parents to help him get an apartment. And he went back to HQ, practically begging on his knees for a job. He'd do anything, he just needed to be able to take care of Yuki. Thankfully, the CEO took pity on him or something, and Ari is now a choreographer and social media manager!

ari was pretty caught off-guard when eunseo (who he's recently started calling eunnie) started flirting with him. he'd just been broken up with by his ex and was newly a single dad to an infant, he was honestly surprised anyone was interested in him at all. and it took some time, but he... started to like her back. recently, he's asked her to be his girlfriend, and everything is going well! plus, she's great with yuki.
