"Shh shh it's going to be ok," one nurse says to the girl lying on the stretcher. The girl moans in agony. "You're going to be alright. We just need to ask you a few questions."

"What's your name?" A male nurse asks. The girl moans. "I need your name. You need to tell me your name."

"She's obviously not up to that right now," the first, female nurse whispers. "She took a really hard fall..."

"Look, I know you're new and all, but I really need her name. It's crucial. Tell me your name." He repeats it again and again. The girl on the stretcher says nothing as the ambulance comes to a stop in front of the emergency entrence of St Bob's Memorial.

The two nurses follow the stretcher, bickering loudly, as it's pushed up the walkway at lightning speeds.

At the same time, a white car pulls up right behind the ambulance, stopping right before they crash, full force. A boy and girl leap out and immediately start screaming at each other.

"Watch where you're driving you idiot!" The girl screams.

"I can see where I'm driving, but you wouldn't shut up and scared the shit out of me by screaming and making comments the whole time," the boy hollers back.

"Maybe if you didn't drive like a lunatic maniac."

"Maybe if you just shut up and let me drive!"

The girl pushes past the boy and slams herself into the door. It swings it open and violently crashes shut in the boys face. "Sophie what the hell?" He screeches.

"Sorry not sorry, Justin." Sophie rushes up to the attendant at the desk leaving Justin to nurse his wound. "Where's the girl they just brought in?" Sophie asks.

"The one on the stretcher? Are you related to her?" The attendant asks.

"Yes, and I need to see her."

"Woah woah honey you just wait right here. That girl will be fine. Are you her sister?"

"Sure. No. Cousin. She's my cousin," Sophie replies thinking fast. Her mind is a whirlwind as she tries to figure out how to get into the hospital to her 'cousin.'

"Ok honey I need you to fill out this paper work here for your cousin and then you can go in to the waiting rooms." She pushes a stack of papers and a pen towards Sophie.

Sophie looks down at the first sheet. Name, address, phone number, family contacts, allergies, the list went on and on. "I don't know any of this," Sophie mumbled to herself. She scribbled "Bridgett" on the first paper, shoved it back across the desk, and took off down the hall.

After a few reckless twists and turns Sophie realizes she's completely lost. Then, she sees it. A laundry bag with cheerleading clothes in it. "Excuse me?" She asks the lady pushing the cart. "Do you know where you got that from?" She points at the outfit. "My cousin was just taken back here and I need to see her. I had to stay back for the paperwork."

"The girl with the head injury?" Head injury? "She's down the hall in that room there." She points. "But she's not there now, they had to race her to surgery. Surgery?

Sophie takes off at high speed down the hall to the room the lady pointed at. She curls up in a ball and cries, the tears streaming down her face. "Holy fucking goddam shits!" She screams. "Why did I have to suggest we put you at the top of the pyramid Bridgett? Why? Please don't die on me..." Sophie gives in to her tears, cries to exhaustion, and sinks into a dreamless sleep.
