When the two started arguing fiercely, Somchai tried to calm them down with a gentle voice:

"Come on, please... I'm begging you both, can we stop fighting already?"

Annette quickly stepped in between them, gently pushing them apart to keep some distance. Then she said:

"Somchai's right! You two, stop arguing. Instead, let's try to cooperate so we can finish this mission as quickly as possible."

Annette's words seemed to cool Riccardo down a little. His expression changed from furious red to an awkward flush, and he mumbled:

"Ah—uh... I'm sorry, okay? I didn't want to fight with that annoying girl either. But she's the one who kept picking fights with me, so I—"

Before Riccardo could finish, Cẩm Đan snapped back. She pointed at his face and shouted:

"Hey! Weren't you the one who started all this? And now you're pretending to be innocent? Don't make me laugh!"

Seeing that Cẩm Đan was still clearly angry, Annette gave an awkward laugh and tried to soothe her:

"Come on, don't take it to heart! Riccardo didn't really mean it that way. Let's focus on planning our strategy now, okay?"

Despite their reluctance, Riccardo and Cẩm Đan eventually relented and joined the others. The four of them—Annette, Somchai, Riccardo, and Cẩm Đan—huddled together to discuss their plan. But just when it seemed like things were settling down, it was Katharina's turn to cause trouble.

While the others gathered to plan, Katharina sat off to the side, holding a magnifying glass and studying some unusual plants for her experiments. Somchai called out:

"Hey, why are you still sitting there?"

Annette chimed in, "Come on, Katharina, get over here!"

Even Riccardo added, "Yeah, move your feet already! Didn't you hear Annette?"

Feeling irritated by the constant nagging, Katharina snapped back, clearly annoyed:

"Oh my god, shut up already! Why are you rushing me so much? If you're in such a hurry, go ahead without me! I'll join you when I'm done with my research!"

Everyone was a bit stunned by her sudden outburst.

Cẩm Đan muttered, "Great. Another crazy one, just like that loudmouth Riccardo."

Somchai tried reasoning with her, "Don't be like that, Katharina. This mission involves all of us."

Annette added, "Yeah, Somchai's right. Come on, please join us."

Riccardo, less diplomatic, said, "Exactly! You're acting like this mission is just ours or something. Be a team player and get over here already!"

But Katharina shot back:

"If you're so worried, then go get that ancient text yourselves! I'll join you after I'm done here, got it?"

While everyone was busy arguing and not paying attention to their surroundings, something sinister was watching them from the treetops above. A shadowy figure, hidden in the dark, grinned wickedly.

Meanwhile, Cẩm Đan had been standing apart, ignoring the argument. That's when her instincts kicked in, and she looked up—just in time to spot a net falling from the treetops.

"Watch out!" she shouted. "Above us!"

Everyone quickly looked up and saw the net descending fast. Luckily, they all managed to jump away just in time—except for Katharina, who was frozen in panic.

"Oh no... I'm done for!" she gasped.

But just in time, Annette pushed her out of the way, saving her. Unfortunately, Annette herself was caught in the net instead.

The group rushed toward her to help, but she yelled:

"Guys! Leave me, go now! Don't worry about me!"

Riccardo shouted, "But—"

Somchai interrupted firmly:

"She's right! We have to listen to her and get out of here now—or we'll all be caught!"

Reluctantly, they all fled the scene, leaving Annette behind.
