When we went back to school Tuesday, Rose was instantly the talk of the town. Of course, I just put on my headphones on and ignored them, singing along quietly with my music.

"She said;
Everybody wants to be with me
I've got all I need
I feel invincible with my headphones on
Everybody pose for magazines
All just noise to me 
I feel invincible with my headphones on"

I feel like the girl in the song, you know? Like my life would be so much better if everyone just left me alone with my music. And my anime. And my manga comics. And my Japanese Pocky. And my friends like Katie and Brent. Okay, maybe I do need more than just my music in my life.

I fell on the floor, the contents of my backpack scattering on the floor around me, as I bumped into something.

Or rather, someone.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," A random guy's voice said as he stuck his hand in front of my face to help me up.

"It's okay, I wasn't looking either," I admitted, putting a hand to my head. Then I looked up and saw the face of my rescuer.

Hair dyed pink.

Black-and-white striped scarf over the school uniform.

Toothy grin.

Plush blue cat on a keychain attached to his backpack.

"Natsu..." I thought to myself.

"My name it Jack, what's yours?" He asked.

Okay, first, this guy looks like my fictional crush, and then he doesn't know who I am? I'm pretty sure my face was all over school last week.

"I...uh...I'm Rachel," I said at last.

Jack's grin widened as he helped me gather up my supplies, "Always nice to meet a kindred soul," he said as he handed me my copy of Fairy Tail.

"You like Fairy Tail too!???" I gasped.

"Who doesn't?" Jack joked, and we both laughed.

The warning bell rang and we both blushed.

"Will I see you around, Rachel?" Jack asked.

"Oh! Uh, yeah!" I stuttered, tucking a few long bangs behind my ears and hoping that Jack didn't notice the embarrassing green streak amidst the blonde.

Jack waved good-bye as he headed down the hall, and I gave a shy wave back.

I just met the cutest guy in the world.
