((Well you all really seemed to like last chapter so here is my gift to you))

"your voice is beautiful" i complimented, suddenly there was a blood curdling scream from the beautiful mermaid.

"Hey! Hey! hey! don't worry I'm not gonna hurt you" I spoke softly trying to comfort him. he backed up on his rock as I took a slow step forwards, he went wide eyed as I slowly took out my sword, I gently placed it down on the ground carefully. 

"shhhh calm down its ok" I informed him, I knew he was scared.

"I was only admiring your beauty from afar" I explained he grew a small blush. he was breathing heavily, he turned around to jump into the water but I stopped him.

"w-wait! don't go" I said, he stopped and stayed still for a bit, I noticed a small cut on his beautiful graceful tail, it looked like it was done by a pirates sword, I sighed. this is why he's afraid of me. I slowly approach the creature and rip off a piece of my shirt, I went over to his tail and lightly placed a gentle hand on it. he jumped and turned around scared.

"don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just trying to help you" I spoke softly he took a breath and nodded. I slowly took my shirt and wrapped it around his tail to stop his cut from bleeding. He held his breath and bit his lip as I'm only assuming it hurt. once I was done I took a step back to give him his space.

"I swear I won't hurt you" I said more, anything I could do to keep him around, even if just for a few more seconds. he curled his tail towards his body, he stared me down, looking over my every detail. suddenly he spoke.

"w-wh-hy di-id yo-ou h-e-elp m-me...?" he asked his voice was soft and gentle, it calmed me more by the second, I felt like I was falling into a deep abyss, craving to hear his voice and feel his touch.

"Because the cut seemed like it hurt, it didn't look right on you" I answered calmly. he blushed and pointed to me.

"y-you-r a pi-ir-rat-e...?" he asked, I nodded.

"yes I am, I'm Captain Error" I said formally taking a small bow trying to impressed him. He blushed and pointed to himself.

"I-In-nk" he said his name, I liked it. I was about to say something but was cut off by a rustling in the bushes, guess Ink heard too cause he snapped his head to the sound. Bluemoon came bursting through the bushes with her sword out, great. Ink squeaked and jumped into the water and started to swim.

"no! grrr Thanks Blue now he'll swim away!" I shouted at her angry.

"huh? who" she asked back putting her sword away.

"a mer-" I was cut off with a bang, I snapped my head to the sound, a large boulder had fallen onto Inks tail, he yelped in pain.

"INK!!" I shouted and rushed over to him, he got startled and struggled to get from under the boulder. *I got to his side and Blue put a hand on the rock, it gently rolled off his tail and he started to try and swim, making his tail bleed.

"Ink! hold on your hurt!" I said and held him in my arms, I took off my cloak and wetit wrapping him in it.

"Blue! go fill the tub with salt water! now!!" She nodded and opened her huge wings, flying back to my ship. I picked Ink up. he started to fall a bit faint and stopped struggling. I grew worried and started running back to the ship, I grabbed my sword as I did. I ran and ran as he slowly passed out in my arms.

"I'm not gonna let you die" I spoke as we ran.
