Coco Bottle- "ATEEZ" Chapter
1. Coca-Cola Clubbing
I walk up to the bar counter. I just kind of stand there, waiting for someone to notice me. I'm not the best with starting conversations. The lady standing there asks for the drink I want.
"Coca-Cola." I say simply.
"Coca-Cola?" she questions my choice of drink.
"Yeah." I stand there awkwardly. Alcohol just isn't my thing. I don't even know why I'm here at a club. The atmosphere makes me sick.
"Fine then, I'll get it ready for you." the lady then starts pouring the Coca-Cola into the glass
I like the sound of ice clinking into glass cups. The sound is just so nice on my ears. When the soda hits the cold ice, it also makes a beautiful sound. People like different sounds, tastes, and feelings. I like the sound of soda dropping into a glass cup full of ice.
"Here you go, sir."the lady slides the cup over to me. When my hands touch it, it's so cold, yet so nice to feel.
"Thanks." I smile, handing her the amount the cup cost.
I stand there a little, before taking a seat on a bar stool. Normal conversations are happening, and I silently listen to them. Things like, "Oh my god, I can't believe Jenny actually stole Hanna's dark red lipstick", or something like, "Woh, dude! Check this hottie out!" I continue sitting there though, taking no real meaning into the words being thrown around the room.
I finish my cup, and slide it back to the lady at the counter. She gives me a funny face, before shrugging it off. Something hits me in the face, metaphorically. The air feels like it's trying to choke me.
"Maybe I just need fresh air." I cough quietly, before speed-walking over to the exit.
Once some fresh air hit my lungs, I felt a lot better. The air out here isn't as good as it seems though. Bright lights are constantly blinding my vision. I can't believe people can see through all these neon beams, while I'm over here about to lose my vision. Even in the club, those stupid neon lights still find a way to peek at my eyes.
Just taking a little breather, I try to gather my thoughts as to why I felt like something was choking me.
"That lady better have not done anything to it or else I ain't gonna go nice on her." I whisper under my breath.
After cursing softly for a good 5 minutes, I decide to walk back into the club. Even though I hate the club; it's bright lights, intoxicating air, people blurring in real life...I still go there. I can't help it though. Something's drawing me in. I just can't figure out what exactly "it" is.
