Imagine Person A and Person B of your OTP are married and have a child/have adopted a child. Person A gets a record-your-voice book to give to their child for some occasion and has recorded their voice on it. Due to some unfortunate accident, however, Person A dies soon afterwards. Person B practically commandeers possession of the book from their child, listening to Person A's voice at least once a day– perhaps more if they're particularly missing Person A that day.
