In this section, Protostar, Lucy Everlin Diggory embarks on a journey of self-discovery when she is unexpectedly sorted into Gryffindor rather than Hufflepuff, like her older brother had been before her. Cedric Amos Diggory, for his part, is proud of his sister for stepping out of his shadow, however unintentionally, and does his best to support her through every difficult situation in which she finds herself, though they happen far more often than he'd like. Harry James Potter is just doing his best, truly, to understand the world of magic into which he was unceremoniously tossed. Through it all, they will learn to rely on both the strength they have within themselves and the strength they draw from their loved ones as they navigate the dangers of a wizarding world still struggling with the shadows of the war that supposedly ended with baby Harry's triumph over Voldemort that fateful Halloween night in 1981.
