Saying stuff behind my back
Turning against me

Is this all just for your own amusement
Seeing me suffer from your stupid judgements
Making me cry every single night
Thinking I'm holding onto something so tight
But turned to be nothing
While you just laugh your face off
Does somehow doing all this make your life complete?
Do you really think I'll forget about this in just a heartbeat?

"Why do you even waste your time with her?"

"She's different from everybody else"

"You know I heard everybody saying she's les"

"She acts like she's all this and that, ughh"

"I hate her"

Everyday I hear these words
Causing a silent scream out of me that can't be heard
I always try my best to hide it with a smile
I try not let it bother me too much
Because I know when I let these tears run dry
In front of others, especially those others
That just love making accusations of someone and
Creating dramatic situations
That you can't get out of no matter what
Trapping you in a corner
With nowhere to go
Leaving you with nothing else to do but lay low
And suffer from the results of their evil creations
Causing stress, anxiety and depression
I am NOT a stereotype

With all these things I've gone through these past few years
I learned that along your toughest journeys yet to come
There will always be those OTHER kinds of people
Who can help you overcome anything and
With the help of those people, finally I am able to say

I am FREE
I am MYSELF
I can be anything I want to be
I AM ME
