What type of graphics do you make, and which type is your favorite?

I stick to covers mostly. My "style" (or lack there of) is heavy manipulation with a focus on dramatic lighting and monochrome or dual color aesthetics. I love maniping because to me it feels like the closest to art (other then vectors) were you create something from a vision in your head as accurately as you can. Now I also dive into vectors a lot because they are super fun and I'm somehow good at them.

How long have you been designing graphics?

Technically 2015 but not seriously till 2016 (I didn't even know the word graphics related to this stuff till 2016)

How did you start?

Well I first started by making covers for myself and my friends and that was nice and all but I didn't find to much enjoyment out of it at the time. But then I left Wattpad for a year and came back to find an interesting account. Can you guess what that account is?

The guild! They are what started my passion really because I came back and found an account with so many talented people making true art and I wanted to do that to. So I got out my windows phone and started.

What is your favorite part about graphic design?

My favorite part definitely has to be the part where your vision is coming all together, when something that didn't exist before now exists and it's all yours (yes originality is dead but still it's really hard to make something that's exactly the same as another). I guess this applies to all art but it definitely is my favorite aspect. Because it makes me feel proud that I can put an image from my brain out into the real world.

Where do you get your inspiration?

Stocks. Like seriously I will just scroll for hours in unsplash collecting any stock that gives me any inspiration to do anything. That and color schemes, seriously I love looking at color schemes and sometimes how people use them. I guess it comes from my love for interesting colors.

How long does a graphic typically take you?

A year ago I wouldn't even think about saying anything above 2 hours but lol that's out the window now. Most of my recent stuff has taken anywhere between 5 hours and 11 hours in total to complete. This mainly comes from me being a perfectionist and obsessing over details like lighting and text.

What advice would you give aspiring designers?

Allow yourself room to move. Allow yourself creative freedom with requests, allow yourself to not feel obligated to get requests done fast, allow yourself to take breaks because once you get going it may be fun and amazing but if you get the point of stressing yourself that's not good for anyone. I say from experience, 2017 for myself was a tough year and I had to take a break from Wattpad in general because I didn't allow myself space in this community and it stressed me out so much that I fell hard. So don't do that to yourself!

A fun fact about yourself:

Let's do multiple!

1. My eyes change color based on the light, green or brown.

2. I was born deaf (fixed now we are okay).

3. My family tree is more of a mess then my layers.

4. I have like 8 secret wp accounts ;) who knows I may be stalking you. Muahaha

5. My family use to own 2 parrots!

*Stares at party parrot next to me that has a murderous look*
