CHAPTER TWO — SAVING CHRISTMAS
the christmas invasion — part two

"Mate, that's the Lion King." — landon temples

ALIENS EXISTED AND LANDON TEMPLES DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. He fought battling demons and other supernatural creatures was enough but now he had gotten himself into a battle against aliens. Sure, he could leave, after all, this wasn't what he had signed up for, but Landon would never leave people that he could help whether they wanted his help or not.

They were claiming it was a hoax — a bunch of rebellious students in masks — but Landon knew different. He knew how officials reacted to things the public didn't understand. He knew they were lying. So, aliens really did exist.

"Rose! Landon! Take a look." Mickey called them over, In all honesty, Landon was just surprised he had been included. Rose just gave him a look as he approached Mickey where he was sat with a laptop. "I've got access to the military."

An impressed smirk came across Landon's face. "Aren't you full of surprises, Mickey boy." He said as he clapped his hand on the man's shoulder.

"They're tracking a spaceship. It's big, it's fast and it's coming this way."

"Coming for what, though?" Asked Rose as she watched the ship on the screen. "The Doctor?!"

"He said they wanted him. To run their damn batteries or something." Landon recalled as he anxiously watched the page Mickey had on the screen.

A sigh passed the young mechanic's lips. "I don't know." He admitted. "Maybe it's coming for all of us."

Mickey pulled up the feed that the military had of the creatures that were on the television. It seemed the government had the extended version they did not want to share with the rest of the country. And once the image had cleared, the alien beings started speaking in a language that was certainly not English, nor Latin.

"Have you seen them before?" Mickey asked Rose.

Landon turned to the girl curiously as it seemed she was more acquainted with the strange than he had previously thought. "No." They continued to speak their mysterious language so the trio just sat there, watching, not sure what else to do. "I don't know what they're saying."

Of course they didn't. But the way Rose said it, it was like she was meant to know yet somehow she didn't.

Then she explained. "The TARDIS translates alien languages, inside my head, all the time, wherever I am." That just gave him more questions than answers.

"So, why isn't it doing it now?"

"I dunno." She shrugged. "Must be the Doctor." The girl theorised. "Like he's part of a circuit, and... he's broken."

Okay, Landon had had enough of these mysteries. Of these references he didn't understand. He turned to the girl and looked her straight in the eyes. "What is going on, Rose? Who is the Doctor? And what the bloody hell is a TARDIS when it's at home?"

LANDON REMAINED AT THE TYLER RESIDENCE UNTIL THE SUN ROSE UP THAT CHRISTMAS MORNING.
Rose and Mickey had given him a brief explanation of things: that the TARDIS was a ship that travelled in space and time (now that explained why he could not locate Rose Tyler) and that it belonged to the Doctor who happened to be a two-hearted alien from a planet called Gallifrey. It was a lot. Still, he checked in with the Doctor throughout the early hours, but he wasn't sure what he could do. All Landon knew was that this man needed help but he didn't know what that was. So, he just remained at the Doctor's bedside, making sure he did not get any worse. Jackie was lovely and also sat beside Landon, wanting to help the Doctor. But she quickly fell asleep so Landon draped his coat over her so she wouldn't get cold.

They were all suddenly alerted when noises of panic arose from outside.

Together they exited the flat to see what was going on. And once they opened the door, they were met with people sleepwalking in the same direction. There were others trying to stop their loved ones with no success. They seemed to be under some sort of mind control or hypnosis. But Landon had never seen anything like this before.

Rose called out to one of the aware residents. When the woman spun around, there was clear terror in her eyes. "He's just walking. He won't stop walking." Sandra left them behind to catch up with her loved one. "There's a sort of light thing."

Whatever that light thing was, it was obviously a clue. Landon had been around weird stuff long enough to know that. But the sorcerer was outmatched with this: his skills were not tuned to aliens.

The trio peered over the railing only to see many more sleepwalkers below. It was everywhere. But it only seemed to be a fraction of the population. Landon then realised that all these sleepwalkers had to have something in common. And whatever was behind this was using that commonality to control them.

Landon followed Rose and Mickey to the roof where all the controlled people gathered, standing right on the edge. This wasn't just control: it was leverage. It was a hostage situation. Someone was controlling all these people and using them to get what they wanted. It made Landon feel sick.

Every building as far as he could see had people perched on the edge. So many people. It was most certainly the whole of London and Landon feared it had spread to the rest of the world. The whole world at the will of whoever held the remote. It was a dark Christmas all right.

Mickey turned to Rose for an answer. "What do we do?" He asked.

"Nothing." A hopeless Rose replied. "There no one to save us. Not anymore."

Shaking his head in denial, Landon argued. "There has to be a way." Insisted the sorcerer as he cast his eyes once more across the sea of hypnotised people. "I may be a bit of a dick, but I'm not just gonna stand here and let those wankers kill all these people. Especially not on Christmas."

Rose said nothing as Landon turned on his heels and headed back down to the flat. There had to be a way to save all these people. And if no one else was going to find it, then it seemed it had to be Landon Temples. Although, saving Christmas wasn't going to look great on his demon-killer resume.

ONCE BACK IN THE FLAT, LANDON GOT STRAIGHT ON THE PHONE AND CALLED EVERYONE HE KNEW — WHICH, ALTHOUGH WAS MANY, BARELY ANY OF THEM ANSWERED AS THEY HATED THE GUTS OF THE TRENCHCOAT WEARING SORCERER. Landon huffed, unimpressed. Sure, many of his contacts he had pissed off, but now wasn't the time for that. A large portion of the world's population (from one person he had managed to talk to, his theory about it being worldwide was confirmed) had taken to the roofs so they had to work together. But it seemed even mass tragedy wasn't enough to make them temporarily forget the things he had done.

Well, screw them. He didn't need them. Okay, maybe he did but Landon didn't want to think about that.

Landon ran his hands through his bleached-blonde hair and down his face as he let out a deep sigh. So far he had come up with nothing. Absolutely fuck all.

As far as he knew, he was the planets last chance — with the Doctor being unconscious and all. But he had nothing up his creased sleeve. This was beyond his abilities.

A familiar voice then started to echo from the television which captured the sorcerer's attention. It seemed the Prime Minister had a message for her people during this Christmas time. Was she taking the Queen's place? Oh, how Landon hoped her royal majesty wasn't also on the roof. That wouldn't be good for the British nation.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, if I may take a moment during this terrible time." Landon sat closer to the screen as he watched intently. "It's hardly the Queen's speech. I'm afraid that's been cancelled." Harriet Jones faltered for a moment as if recalling something. She then turned to the side, to someone off camera, and inquired. "Did we ask about the Royal Family?" After a moment, she informed them. "Oh... they're on the roof."

Landon sighed and huffed with frustration. What a Christmas this was turning out to be.

"But, ladies and gentlemen, this crisis in unique, and I'm afraid to say it might get much worse. I would ask you all to remain calm. But I have one request. Doctor?" She called out. Landon's brows shot up when he heard that. Because he could tell she wasn't asking for medical aid. It seemed the two-hearted alien in Rose's room had powerful friends. "If you're out there, we need you. I don't know what to do. If you can hear me, Doctor, if anyone knows the Doctor, if anyone can find him, the situation has never been more desperate..."

Behind him, Rose turned away with tear-soaked cheeks and hurried back into the hallway. It was obvious she cared about him a lot. Landon might even say... co-dependent. But he didn't know them well enough to judge.

"Help us." The Prime Minister begged. "Please, Doctor, help us."

The Prime Minister begging for aid didn't happen every day, or ever really. These really were dire times. And if the world was relying on the unconscious man to save them, Landon wasn't sure what would become of their planet.

Jackie followed Rose into the hallway where Landon overheard them hugging and the teen sobbing into her Mother's arms. A pang struck Landon's heart as he witnessed their embrace from the corner of his eye. He wished his own Mother was still around so he could hug her. Miriam Temples always gave the best hugs — you could ask anyone close to her.

BOOM!!!

Glass was blasted all over the flat as an explosion occurred outside. Landon jumped in his seat, startled by the sudden loud noise. Fortunately, none of them were hurt. He then spotted everyone making a dash for the door, heading outside to see what was going on. So, once Landon brushed off all the pieces of glass from his coat, he ran after them.

They gathered outside a blue police phone box that didn't look like it belonged there. It must've been the TARDIS, Landon realised. It was... an interesting choice for a spaceship.

Up above amongst the clouds, what looked like an island sailed in the sky. The aliens were at Earth, hovering above their planet's surface. Things were just getting worse this Christmas.

"The explosion." Landon hummed in thought. "The glass must've shattered when the ship entered the atmosphere." They all turned to look at the man in surprise. "What? Just because I'm a sorcerer, it doesn't mean that's all I know."

The alien ship cast a shadow over London, striking fear into everyone that lived there. Even with his years of freaky shit, Landon was frightened, terrified even, as he had never encountered anything like this before. Aliens were so new to him.

The trio watched the ship for a moment before Rose darted back inside. And, after sighing, Landon followed.

He rushed back into the flat after Rose and Mickey who made a beeline for their unconscious Doctor. "Mickey, we're gonna carry him." She told her boyfriend (was he her boyfriend, Landon did not know). "Mum, get your stuff, and get some food, we're going."

Landon noticed how she failed to include him in that list.

"Where to?"

"The TARDIS." Replied Rose who pulled the covers from the Doctor and started to prepare him for the transportation. "It's the only safe place. on Earth." He coughed to conceal a scoff at the girl's words. There were most definitely other safe places on this Earth — his home for instance — but in her defence, this TARDIS was the closest.

Jackie stared at her daughter with a puzzled look. "What are we gonna do in there?"

"Hide."

"Is that it?"

But Rose wasn't up for debates. "Mum, look in the sky." She said as she pulled the Doctor from the bed. "There's a great big alien invasion and I don't know what to do, all right? I've travelled with him and seen all that stuff, but when I'm stuck at home, I'm useless."

Wow, her self-esteem was terrible. Now he felt bad.

"All we can do is run and hide, and I'm sorry. Now, move!"

She didn't ask him but he did it anyway. The sorcerer reached down and grabbed one of the legs as Mickey grabbed the other. And together, with Rose, they managed to lift the Doctor out of the bed and then slowly — yet as quickly — as they could, they made the way to the Doctor's magic ship.

Landon wasn't paying much attention to the blue box that Rose was leading them into. Not even when he had obviously walked further inside than the outside dimensions would suggest. Only when he finally released his hold on the Doctor did it sink in.

The inside was vastly bigger than the outside. Somehow the Doctor and his people had placed  a much larger space inside a smaller one. He had a spell for that, but Landon doubted he could pull it off to this scale. Or pull it off at all; it was a difficult spell.

Landon gasped in awe. He cast his eyes all over the sepia room, taking in the round console in the centre, the round things on the walls. It truly was a magical ship. He had never seen anything like it before and he doubted he ever would again. The TARDIS was beautiful.

"Yeah, it's bigger on the inside." Rose said quickly once she noticed the look of wonder on Landon's face.

That snapped the man from his daze and he stood up to lean against a metal railing. "It's like an extension spell." He tried to attach some sort familiarity to this perplexing situation. Rose just scrunched her face up, not impressed by his attempt.

"No chance you can fly this thing?" Mickey asked.

Rose shook her head. "Not any more, no."

"Well, you did it before." He argued as he glanced between Rose and the console.

Landon stared at the girl curiously. "You have?" She didn't answer him. He was going to compliment her because flying this beauty didn't look easy. But after her dismissal, he decided against it.

"I know," Sighed Rose as she ran a hand over the console, like she was trying to remember something. "but it's sort of been wiped out of my head, like it's forbidden. If I try it again, I think the universe rips in half."

"Better not then, love." Smirked Landon who then reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette.

The blonde strode up to him and plucked the cigarette from his lips and tossed it aside. He went to protest, but she cut in. "No smoking in the TARDIS." She said firmly.

Landon just scoffed at the teen. "Says who? It's his ship and last I checked, he's unconscious." He smirked once more, this time, in a condescending manner.

An offended Rose huffed and headed back to Mickey. Silence fell upon the control room. No one said a word, caught in an awkward middle ground.

But the silence was broken when Jackie spoke up. "Right, here we go." She said as she unscrewed the top of a Thermos. "Nice up of tea."

Landon lit up. "Ooo. I love a cuppa, I do." Although, at the moment, he could do with something stronger.

"Oh, the solution to everything." Rose remarked sarcastically.

Jackie turned to her daughter. "Now, stop your moaning." She scolded her. "I'll get the rest of the food." The woman spun around to hand Landon the tea before she dashed off out of the TARDIS and back to the flat.

"Tea!" Mickey laughed as Landon took a good sip from the mug. Wow, that was good tea. Jackie Tyler certainly made an excellent cuppa. "It's like we're having a picnic while the world comes to an end." He joked.

Landon smirked behind the mug. "Very British of us."

"How does this thing work?" Asked Mickey as he stared curiously at the console.

Now, Landon also wanted to know how it worked. Because, as it wasn't magic, he was intrigued to find out what made the ship go. "I would like to know too, love. This is a beautiful machine that I would be delighted to know how it works."

No answer came from Rose.

Mickey turned his attention to a small screen attached to the side. It was covered with unique circular symbols which seemed to form a sort of pattern. As a sort of expert in occult languages, Landon recognised the signs. He couldn't quite decipher what it was saying, but he knew it had to some form of language rather than a pretty background saver.

"'Cause, if it picks up TV, maybe we can see what's going on out there. Maybe we've surrendered—"

"Unlikely." Landon cut in. The thing about the British was that they did not like to give up. Keep Calm and Carry on, and all that bullshit. Rose just glared at the sorcerer for his interruption and the man just rolled his eyes before returning to his tea,

Glancing to Rose, Mickey asked. "What do you do to it?"

The blonde girl shrugged. "I don't know, it sort of tunes itself."

She started to press random buttons on the screen. With the owner of this ship unconscious and an invasion vessel above, Landon knew messing with it could not be a good idea. But Rose didn't like to listen to him so Landon decided not to say anything and returned to his tea. It was good tea.

Landon froze for a moment when he thought he felt a shift around him. But then he resumed what he was doing because it must've been nothing. The TARDIS was steady and nothing seemed to be moving.

"Maybe it's a distress signal." Suggested Mickey.

Rose huffed. "Fat lot of good that's gonna do."

It appeared Mickey had had enough, and Landon couldn't blame him. "Are you gonna be a misery all the time?" He asked as he spared her a small glare.

"Yes."

"You should look at it from my point of view. Stuck in here with your Mum's cooking!" Sighed Mickey, and Landon couldn't tell whether he was joking or not.

His words caused Rose to look around in search. "Where is she?"

Landon too cast his eyes around the TARDIS interior and realised Jackie Tyler was nowhere to be seen. She should have been back by now as it certainly did not take that long to go and retrieve a few bags. Now, that was worrying.

Beside her, Mickey simply shrugged at her question so Rose got up from the seat. "I'd better give her a hand." She offered. "It might start raining missiles out there."

"Tell her anything from a tin, that's fine." Mickey called out to Rose.

"Why don't you tell her yourself?"

Dashing towards the door, Mickey joined Rose at the exit. "I'm not that brave." He replied.

"Oh, I dunno." Rose offered him a small smile.

The girl exited the TARDIS and closed the doors behind her. Then, a second later, her scream pierced the wooden exterior. A startled Landon dropped his mug of tea onto the metal grate beneath their feet and Mickey made a run for the door. "Bollocks!"

Mickey was first to reach the door and when Landon went to join him, the mechanic stopped him in his tracks. "Someone has gotta stay here and watch the Doctor." He told him. "Rose wouldn't want him to be left alone."

Okay, that Landon perhaps understood. But why was he remaining behind and not Mickey. No offence to the man, but he was a sorcerer and Mickey was just a guy. A nice guy, but still just a guy. Landon gathered it was because he was new and that the other man still doubted his abilities. Not that he could blame him.

"Alright." Nodded Landon as he accepted the job he was given. "And I'll see if I can wake your Doctor up. He proved useful earlier."

Mickey did not argue and just turned for the door. He slipped through and closed it behind him which just left Landon alone with the unconscious alien. A wizard being stuck with babysitting an alien. There had to be a joke somewhere.

Crouching down, Landon retrieved his mug, wincing when he saw the liquid had seeped through into the TARDIS's circuitry. First time in an alien space/time machine and he probably already broke it. There was a reason he did things alone. Landon sighed and placed the cup on a flat surface before turning to the console.

"Sorry about that, love." He apologised to the machine, placing a gentle hand against the console.

A faint hum echoed through the central cylinder as the light inside brightened in response. Now, that was interesting. Did this ship just answer to him?

Arching an inquisitive brow, Landon stared up at the middle of the ship. "Was that you, pet?" He asked. And, to his question, the TARDIS once more let out a hum, a different one this time to let Landon know it wasn't a regular thing. "A sentient spaceship." He nodded in approval. "This is bloody brilliant." He beamed like a child at Christmas.

The TARDIS hummed once again and the lights changed in intensity. If Landon was guessing, he would say the TARDIS was perhaps blushing at his compliment.

He thought back to what he had previously been told about the vessel. "You must also be telepathic." Realised the sorcerer as he recalled Rose talking about a translation matrix that translates languages psychically. The TARDIS let out another noise to confirm his thoughts. "I can see why they like you so much."

A small puff of smoke rose from beneath the grating, alerting Landon. The sorcerer knelt down on the metal and peered through, noticing how it was the spill from his tea that was creating this smoke. A worried look crossed his face: he did not want to hurt this magnificent being. The TARDIS then let out a series of noises to reassure him she was alright, but Landon still felt guilty.

The wires beneath sparked as the tea evaporated beneath. Landon then watched as the Doctor inhaled deeply and when he finally released the breath he was holding, out came more of that gold dust. It was fascinating.

Suddenly, the Doctor lurched upwards with a gasp. His eyes flew open, scanning everything around him with an alertness. Landon surged forwards and grabbed the man by his arms to steady him as he came to.

"Easy there, mate." Landon tried to calm him. "Take it easy, you just woke up."

The Doctor blinked, realising where he was and who he was looking at. "Landon Temples." He beamed giddily. "It's good to see you're still here." Glancing around, he added. "I'm in my TARDIS."

"Yes." Nodded the bleached-blonde. "Rose thought you'd be safe here."

If it was even possible, the Doctor's eyes widened further. "Rose?" He inquired, looking around to notice she wasn't there. "Where is she?"

"She's out there." He gestured towards the door. "I think we're on the alien ship."

The Doctor immediately attempted to get to his feet. But being unconscious for so long — and having a new body — caused him to almost collapse once more. Fortunately, Landon caught him "We have to save them. And Christmas." He said the last part as his smile returned. Then, he returned his focus to Landon. "Thank you." He referred to the help he was giving him which caused Landon to release his hold on the Doctor who managed to remain upright on his own. "Um, who are you, Landon Temples?"

Landon raised his brow. "Do you really want to know, mate?"

"Of course I do."

"Okay." Shrugged Landon as he stuffed his hands into his coat pockets. "When Rose disappeared — which I'm guessing was your doing —" The Doctor nodded. "Jackie Tyler hired me to find her, but I couldn't. I'm a sorcerer AND I exorcise demons."

The Doctor just blinked in surprise. He hadn't heard that one before. "Magic doesn't exist." He insisted. "There's no such thing."

Landon just smirked at the alien. "I'll remind you of that later when  make you realise it is real."

Everything inside the Doctor was screaming — and not just from the regeneration — as what Landon said went against everything he had believed in. Magic didn't exist, neither did the creatures that went bump in the night. Yet Landon was saying that they did. Although every inch of him was screaming in denial, that it couldn't be true, part of him wanted to know whether Landon was right. Something about that man made him even consider the possibility.

"You can trust me." The sorcerer reassured the alien after seeing the look on his face. "Besides, the TARDIS likes me."

Now that surprised the Doctor. "She does?" The TARDIS hummed again to confirm. "That's... incredible."

By the sounds of it, the TARDIS did not display such love often. And that made Landon feel very honoured.

The two men decided to put a pin in their differences because they had some people to save. The Doctor came up with the plan and Landon stood by his side for back up. Because the young wizard thought he'd need it.

Throwing open the front doors, the Doctor stood tall against their alien foe. He wore a beaming smile on his face and faced them in nothing but a dressing gown. Yet he held so much presence that it felt matched. One alien against an army. Landon could now see why Rose was obviously in love with him. He was incredible.

"Did you miss me?"

Landon smirked in approval. "I do appreciate a flair for the dramatic."

Now that made the Doctor turn and smile at the man at his side.

Landon kept to the Doctor's side as the man headed straight for his friends and the alien leader. They didn't look like the image from the television. Their face looked more like flesh with no skin, blood red and the muscles visible. It seemed the bone thing he had previously seen was just a mask. Landon thought the leader looked better with the mask on.

He went to alert the Doctor as the leader went to attack, but it turned out, there was no need. As the electric whip was lashed towards the man, he caught it with his hand and yanked it away from the startled Sycorax. Then he proceeded to wrap it up

"You can have someone's eye out with that."

With no fear, the Doctor strolled right up to the leader as he pulled out a pointed staff and tried to push the Doctor back. "How dare—" He started to growl, but was cut off when the Doctor snatched the staff.

Landon watched, in awe, as the man broke the staff over his knee and tossed the pieces into different directions. "You just can't get the staff." Did he just make a joke? At a time like this? Landon was really starting to like this man. "Now you. just wait! I'm busy."

Facing off against an alien leader with nothing but himself, it really showed how powerful the Doctor was. Landon's bisexual ass was screaming inside because he found that display incredibly hot. And he was eager to see what the Doctor would do next.

He turned to his friends and beamed at them. "Mickey, hello!" Mickey grinned back at the Doctor, excited and relieved to see him back. Then the Doctor turned to their Prime Minister. It seemed he really did know the most powerful woman in Britain. "And Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North. Blimey, it's like This is your Life. Tea!" He exclaimed as he then moved to his Rose. "Thank Landon for that. That's all I needed, a good cup of eta. A superheated infusion of free radicals and tannin. Just the thing for healing the synapses."

"Tea is gonna save the world." Mused Landon with amusement. "How very British."

After smiling at the sorcerer, he turned back to Rose. "Now, first things first. Be honest... how do I look?"

"Different." Rose replied.

"Good different or bad different?"

Unsure how to respond, Rose shrugged. "Just... different."

There was a completely serious expression on the man's face as he then asked. "Am I... ginger?"

Landon just snorted at the Doctor's question.

"No, you're just sort of brown."

A disappointed Doctor pouted. "But I wanted to be ginger." He whined like a child. "I've never been ginger."

Raising a brow at him, Landon said. "You do know that something called 'hair dye' exists, mate?" He questioned and gestured to his own hair. Landon narrowed his eyes as he tried to picture the Doctor ginger and he had admit, he did think it would suit him.

"And you!" Exclaimed the Doctor as he pointed at the blonde girl. "Rose Tyler, a fat lot of good you were! You gave up on me." He suddenly stopped when he realised what had just come out of his mouth. "Oh, that's rude. Is that the sort of man I am now?" He asked himself. "Am I rude? Rude and not ginger?"

Then the Prime Minister cut in. "I'm sorry, who is this?"

"I'm the Doctor."

"He's the Doctor." Both Landon and Rose replied as the man in question grinned.

But with the little knowledge she had on him, she didn't understand — but to be fair, Landon didn't get much either. "What happened to my Doctor?" She inquired. "Or is it a title that's just passed on?"

"I'm him." The Doctor revealed as he made his way to stand in front of the Prime Minister. "I'm literally him. Same man, new face. Well, new everything."

"But you can't be..."

The Doctor just smiled at her. "Harriet Jones. We were trapped in Downing Street, and the one thing that scared you wasn't the aliens, wasn't the war, it was the thought of your mother being on her own."

Gasping in shock, it seemed she accepted the truth. "Oh, my God!" Landon wasn't a big fan of that word.

"Did you win the election?" He asked kindly.

"Landslide majority."

But their peace was brought to an end by the invasion leader. "If I might interrupt..."

At his voice, the Doctor returned his attention to him. "Yes, sorry. Hello, big fella." He grinned as he spun around.

"Who exactly are you?"

The Doctor sighed. "Well, that's the question."

"I demand to know who you are!"

"I don't know!" The Doctor screamed back with a growl in his voice, imitating the aliens he was facing. "You see, that's the thing. I'm the Doctor, but beyond that, I just don't know. I literally do not know who I am." That must have been scary, Landon thought as he watched the man. "It's all untested. Am I funny? Am I sarcastic? Sexy?"

He winked in Landon and Rose's direction. But the two blondes were standing so close together that neither of them knew who it was for. Rose assumed it was for her and blushed. Landon just blinked in surprise and smirked a little because the Doctor was must certainly that.

Then he continued. "A right old misery? Life and soul? Right handed? Left handed?" He continued to question as he slowly made his way past the leader and toward what looked like a control panel. Landon smirked once more, this Doctor was very smart. "A gambler, a fighter, a coward, a traitor, a liar, a nervous wreck? Well, judging by the evidence I've certainly got a gob."

Eyes drawn to the control panel, the Doctor let out a laugh. Landon and the others just watched curiously as the Doctor continued to distract these Sycorax.

"And, how am I going to react when I see this?" He pointed up to the control area. "A great big threatening button." Another laugh passed his lips as he dashed up and towards the button with the leader right behind him. "A great big threatening button which must not be pressed under any circumstances, am I right?" They all followed after the Doctor as he stood up at the button and looked down at the leader.

Landon could tell things were getting tense. So, he ran as many spells through his head to try and figure out which ones he could do with no resources and that would be the most effective. They needed a back up.

Humming in thought, the Doctor theorised. "Let me guess, it's some sort of control matrix. Hold on, what's feeding it?" He crouched down and opened a panel at the bottom to take a look inside. "What have we got here?"

He put his finger into a substance and pulled away. When he stood back up, Landon saw what was on his finger and instantly recognised it as blood. He had seen too much of it in his life to mistake.

"Blood?" The Doctor licked the blood from his finger. Everyone — including Landon — grimaced. "Yeah, definitely blood. Human Blood. A positive, with just a dash of iron." He too cringed and shook his head at the taste.

Why did the aliens have A positive blood in a control matrix? Is that was they were controlling the people with? But that couldn't be right, because that would mean....

"But that means..." The Doctor trailed off as ideas rushed through his mind. "Blood control. Blood control!" He exclaimed. "Oh, I haven't seen blood control in years! You're controlling all the A Positives!" He said with such certainty.

"Uh, Doc." Landon cut in causing the Doctor to turn to him. And the use of a nickname made the Doctor blush slightly. "There's a slight problem with that." A frown formed on the friendly alien's face. "I'm A Positive."

Everyone in the room whipped around to give Landon looks of shock. Even the Prime Minister. And quite possibly the Sycorax too.

"You are?" He queried, his voice faltering. Landon just nodded. "How... that's...." He didn't finish.

With a nonchalant shrug, Landon replied. "Perhaps I have some sort of magical warding. Maybe it's because I'm already damned." Honestly, the sorcerer had no idea. "Maybe my blood is tainted with something. No clue. I just know I'm A Positive and that I currently do not have the impulse to stand on the edge of a roof."

"'Magical warding'?" Echoed Harriet Jones in thought.

He may have just exposed the British government to magic — if they didn't know already — which was a bit of a mistake on his part. Oops. But he had bigger things to worry about at the moment; like stopping an invasion.

"And if you're controlling all the A Positives," Sparing a glance at the man in the trench coat he added. "apart from Landon, it leaves us with a great big stinking problem. 'Cos I really don't know who I am. I don't know when to stop. So, if I see a great big threatening button, which should never, ever, ever be pressed, then I just want to do this."

Everyone around them screamed as the Doctor plunged his hand down on the button on the control matrix. Landon's instinct was to stop him but then he too stopped. The Doctor wouldn't just kill a third of the planet. He knew something they all didn't.  He had to.

"You killed them!" Harriet Jones' translator outcried.

The Doctor, on the other hand, didn't think that was the case. So, the alien man turned to the Sycorax leader. "What d'you think, big fella?" He questioned. "Are they dead?"

"We allow them to live." The leader forced himself to say.

The people around Landon sighed in relief to hear those words. All those humans on the rooftops, they were safe now. There was that at least.

Scoffing, the Doctor queried. "'Allow'?! You've no choice!" Landon smirked as the Doctor faced down the Sycorax. "That's all blood control is, a cheap bit of voodoo." Biting his tongue, Landon resisted the urge to say something about voodoo as he was well acquainted with its work. "Scares the pants off of you but that's as far as it goes. It's like hypnosis. You can hypnotise someone to walk like a chicken or sing like Elvis, but you can't hypnotise them to death. Survival instinct's too strong."

"And if you do, then it's technically classed as mind control and not hypnosis." They all shot Landon strange looks for his words and the sorcerer just shrugged. "What?"

"Blood control was just one form of conquest." The leader told them. "I can summon the armada and take this world by force."

Landon snorted. "We'd like to see you try."

He was immediately silenced by the Prime Minister and Rose just glared heated daggers at the man. Earth had defences that the government's didn't know about: him and his people. Sure, they weren't answering his calls now but if the world was ending, every sorcerer, witch or mystic of any kind, would band together and take down the invaders. The planet's secret army.

To keep himself quiet, Landon retrieved a cigarette from his pocket and lit it with his lighter. Rose just stared at the man in disbelief as he smoked on an alien spaceship. On the other hand, Harriet Jones didn't seem to mind as long as it kept the strange wizard quiet. And the Doctor was just amused by his audacity.

"Well, yeah, you could take the planet." He nodded as he knew the power the Syocrax held. "Yeah, you could do that, course you could. But why?! Look at these people. These human beings. Consider their potential. From the day they arrive on the planet, and blinking step into sun," Landon froze as he pulled away his cigarette. Was that...? No. "there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than—"

With a faint chuckle, Landon cut in. "Mate, that's the Lion King."

The Doctor blinked in realisation as a blank look appeared on his face. "Yes, it is." Then he refocused on the leader and glared harshly. "But the point still stands." He got up and made his way over. "Leave them alone."

"Or what?"

"Or..." The Doctor reached the Sycoraxian closest to him and pulled the sword from its belt. Then he charged forwards and towards his TARDIS, standing before it and ready to fight. Landon continued to smoke as he watched the scene with excitement. "I challenge you!" Screeching laughter consumed the entire room as the hoard of Sycorax were amused by the prospect. "Ohh, that struck a chord." He looked towards his opponent. "Am i right that the sanctified rules of combat still apply?"

"You stand as this world's champion?"

The leader unsheathed his own sword as he made his way to meet the Doctor who was shedding the dressing gown as he prepared to fight. This was going to a hell of a fight.

"Thank you. I've no idea who I ma, but you've just summed me up."

He didn't even look when he tossed the dressing gown towards Rose who caught it immediately. Landon just took another drag from his cigarette as he watched with an eager smirk.

Raising his sword, the Doctor tightened his grip and anticipated the first blow. "So, do you accept my challenge?" He then proceeded to call the Sycorax a variety of degrading names. Beside her, he could see Rose frowning slightly, like she didn't know what he had said. But Landon did. It seemed the TARDIS had translated just for him.

Landon smirked as he glanced to the Doctor. "Didn't know you had such a dirty mouth, Doc." Teased the sorcerer. The alien just blushed slightly, surprised and embarrassed his new friend had understood what he had just said.

As the sword of the invader was being lifted up into the air, the fellow Sycoraxians roared with support. It seemed the challenge had been accepted. The Doctor too showed his blade to the crowd then the two opponents kneeled and prepared to begin the duel.

"For the planet?"

"For the planet?"

So no bloody pressure or anything.

Both of them quickly got to their feet and brandished their swords out in front of them. The Doctor struck first and when their swords clashed, their was a breath battle of strength before the Doctor was thrown backwards. He stumbled towards the TARDIS before regaining his balance and signalling to resume.

Landon watched intently, his eyes glued to the fight. As to not miss anything, he dropped his burning cigarette to the ground and stepped on the flames to extinguish it. Although he hated littering, he did not bother to pick it up. These Sycoraxians deserved it.

After sparing a glance towards his friends, the Doctor leapt into battle once more. The sword was obviously too big for him but he tried his best with it. Metal met once more, exchanging blows until the Doctor toppled to the ground.

"Look out!" Rose yelled as the leader attempted to strike the Doctor's foot with his blade.

Fortunately, the Doctor managed to get away in time. "Oh, yeah, that helps." The Doctor replied sarcastically. "I wouldn't have thought of that otherwise. Thanks."

They continued to fight for the fate of the planet. This time it seemed to be going alright until the leader elbowed the Doctor in the chest. Landon winced on his behalf. The Doctor gasped and staggered backwards before making a dash through the ship. They all followed behind the Sycorax leader that was chasing the timelord.

"Bit of fresh air?" He asked and pressed on a button that opened the door.

Nothing could be done other than to watch as the Doctor made his way outside of the ship, taking his duel with him. They both stood at the edge of the vessel, miles above the London streets. Falling would be certain death. The Doctor had just upped the stakes.

As the two continued to battle, the Doctor was slowly pushed towards the edge. That made Landon nervous. Swords continue to clash until the leader seized the opportunity to hit the Doctor in the face with the hilt of his sword. That had to hurt.

Rose instinctively stepped forwards, wanting to help him. But Landon quickly reached out and grabbed her. "Stay back!" The Doctor instructed as he used his raised hand to tend to his wound. "Invalidate the challenge and he wins the planet."

The girl yanked herself from his hold and sent Landon a fierce glare. What was he supposed to do? He assumed similar rules applied to those of Earth. Interreference from one side disqualifies them. And this was the fate of the Earth. Mickey seemed to understand that and sent Landon a grateful nod.

Spinning around, the leader charged at the Doctor. They met in the middle and used as much strength as they could to push back against each other. But the Sycroax leader seemed to be a more experienced swordsman and, after a while, managed to topple the Doctor to the ground. He laid there on his back with his head resting on nothing but the open sky.

Then, the Sycorax leader raised his sword and sliced the Doctor's hand clean off at the wrist so that it, and the sword it held, fell to London below.

But losing a hand didn't seem to affect the Doctor much. And, from what Landon had seen, it should have. Or, at least, there should have been blood. But nothing.

"You've cut my hand off."

The leader took that as his cue to celebrate his victory over Earth's champion. "Sycorax!" He cheered.

But the Doctor was not out of the fight just yet. He slowly got his feet as the leader celebrated. And even though he had just lost his hand, the man was smiling.

"And now I know what sort of man I am." He grinned. "I'm lucky. COs, quite by chance, I'm still within the first fifteen hours of my regeneration cycle, which means I've got just enough residual cellular energy to do this." They all watched as the Doctor held up his stump only for another hand to grow in its place.

That was... different.

Sure, Landon knew healers and if you get possessed, the entity heals your wounds. But regrowing limbs was something else entirely. Something new.

"Is he part lizard or something?" Landon blinked in surprise.

"Witchcraft." Accused the leader.

Landon raised his hands in surrender. "Wasn't me."

The Doctor's smile grew a little after hearing Landon. "Timelord." He corrected.

Yanking a sword from another Syocraxian soldier, Rose tossed it towards their champion. "Doctor!" She shouted. He caught the sword with ease.

He turned his head to raise a brow at the blonde. "So, I'm still the Doctor, then?"

"No arguments from me." Beamed the girl who, but an hour earlier, was crying that this wasn't her Doctor, that hers had left her. So, Landon rolled his eyes at the teen.

"You want to know the best bit?" He asked the leader rhetorically. "This new hand.... it's a fightin' hand!" Landon grimaced at the Doctor's attempt at an accent.

But when the Doctor leapt into battle once more, he was too distracted to care. It seemed he was right, he was better at fighting with this new hand. Landon didn't know how regeneration worked and didn't want to guess. He couldn't help but be fascinated by it though. The battle was in full swing, metal met and blows were evaded.

It seemed the Doctor had a chance of winning now and Landon smiled. Their planet might be alright after all.

The Doctor managed to grab the Sycorax's blade and tugged it from his grasp. Then he hit the leader's stomach with the hilts which sent him straight to the floor. A pained groan escaped him. And he didn't get a chance to get up before the Doctor held a sword to the Sycorax's throat.

He had won!

"I win." The Doctor stated.

"Then kill me."

The Doctor shook his head at the weak leader's request. "I'll spare your life if you'll take this champion's command. Leave this planet, and never return." He proposed. "What do you say?"

"Yes."

But the Doctor did not think that was enough. "Swear on the blood of your species!" He demanded with a growl as he pushed the blade closer to the leader's throat.

"... I swear."

Instantly the dark look on his face vanished and was replaced with a smile. He removed the sword from the leader and plunged it into the ground. "There we ae then. Thanks for that. Cheers, big fella."

"Bravo!" Cheered the Prime Minister as she clapped to rejoice in their victory.

"That says it all!" Beamed Rose who then rushed up to the victorious Doctor with a dressing gown in hand. "Bravo!"

Landon too made his way to the timelord and nodded in approval. "Well done there, mate. That was some fine swordsmanship."

"Not bad for a man in his jim-jams." Landon snorted at the Doctor who then slipped back on the dressing gown. "Very Arthur Dent. Now there was a nice man."

Was he talking about Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? No, that was impossible. Perhaps he was referring to someone else?

A curious frown crossed his lips as he reached into his pocket. "Hold on, what have I got in here?" He pulled out an orange coloured fruit. "A satsuma! Ah, that friend of your mother's. he does like his snacks, doesn't he? Doesn't that just sum up Christmas?" Asked the Doctor as he looked at the fruit. He was so happy and calm, you wouldn't think he had just won a battle to save the planet. "You go through all those presents and right at the end, tucked away at the bottom, there's always one stupid old satsuma."

Landon hummed. "Yes, I believe it does."

Behind them, the leader got up and lunged straight at them. It roared with anger and swung its blade. But the Doctor did not move. Instead, he threw the satsuma at the button on the wall and the Sycorax leader was plunged down to London below. And he had done all of that with a cold, blank look on his face. This was not his first time doing something like that, Landon could tell. There was some deep darkness behind his smiles and joy. And that just made Landon like him a little bit more.

"No second chances. I'm that sort of a man."

And so they headed back inside to where the TARDIS was so they could address the Sycorax army and then beam down to Earth after they had agreed to leave.

The Doctor turned to face the army of the Sycorax. "By the ancient rites of combat, I forbid you to scavenge here for the rest of time." He proclaimed. "And when you go back to the stars and tell others of this planet, when you tell them of its riches, its people, its potential... When you talk  of the Earth, make sure that you tell them this — it is defended."

A blue light consumed them all and then suddenly they were no longer on the ship but on a street on the ground. Landon couldn't believe it: the invasion was over. They had won. And it was thanks to this rather impressive Doctor man — and Landon did not admit that lightly.

 "Where are we?" Inquired Rose.

Mickey had the answer to that question. "We're just off Bloxham Road. We're just round the corner! We did it!" He cheered.

"Wait, wait a minute." The Doctor silenced Mickey as the ship above started to move. It seemed he did not want to celebrate too prematurely in case they struck back in revenge. But, as the rites of combat ordered, the Sycorax turned and left.

Landon watched with an amused smile as Rose hopped onto Mickey's back as the two celebrated saving Christmas. For not being a fan of the holiday season, Landon had to say: this was his best Christmas in a very long time. He had helped — or at least been there — save the planet from alien invasion. A whole new weird world had been opened up to him. It was amazing.

Rose then flung herself at the Prime Minister's assistant, spreading her joy with anyone she could. She even managed to spare Landon a smile which the man greatly appreciated. He couldn't fight the one creeping onto his face as he stared up at the open sky where there was not a ship in sight.

The Doctor went off to the side to have a proper reunion with Harriet Jones so Landon remained where he was. Honestly, the sorcerer felt a little left out.

"Rose!"

They all turned to see Jackie Tyler running to them as fast as she could. Poor woman, she must've been terrified when the TARDIS vanished without her. After losing her daughter for a year, Landon gathered she was extra protective of her now.

"Mum!"

"Talking of trouble." Mumbled the Doctor as the two Tyler women embraced. Landon walked over to the man and nudged him a little. After all, Christmas was the time to put past grievances aside and come together.

Rose beamed at her mother. "We did it, Mum!" She cried happily into her mother's hold. "You did it too!" She informed Jackie. "It was the tea! Fixed his head!"

The Doctor started to approach the Tyler family, but Landon remained. He did not want to intrude. Once the Doctor realised the other man was not following, he turned and gestured for him to join them. Landon felt himself choking up and tears threatening to spill from his eyes. It had been so long since he had been treated like a friend, like family.

"That's all I needed!" The Doctor grinned. "Cup of tea!"

"I said so!"

A grinning Rose pointed at the alien. "Look at him!"

But Jackie faltered. She looked the Doctor up and down, not quite accepting it was the man she had previously known. Not yet. "Is it him though? Is it really the Doctor?" She queried. The Doctor just smiled and shrugged. Then Jackie saw who was behind the man in the dressing gown and gasped. "Oh, my God! It's the bleedin' Prime Minister!"

The Doctor opened his arms wide. "Come here, you."

The older woman ran into his arms, throwing her own around his middle. Rose and Mickey joined in in the group embrace, but Landon didn't. He could see the Doctor's eyes on him, silently asking him if he wanted to be part of their hug.

"No thanks, mate. Hugs aren't really my thing."

But Landon was lying. It wasn't that hugs weren't his thing it was that he hadn't had one in so long that they now felt foreign to him. He wanted nothing more than to sink into the arms of that loving family, but he couldn't. People who got close to him usually got hurt. His loneliness was the price to pay for the safety of others.

A bright green laser then blasted the ship out of space.

Landon spun around to see a guilty-looking Prime Minister doing her best to avoid the Doctor's gaze. She had just killed a giant ship of Sycoraxians after they had agreed to leave. That was monstrous — and Landon would know.

The sorcerer surged forwards, an anger in his eyes unlike anyone had ever seen. It was hellfire itself was burning in his pupils, causing the Prime Minister to cower in his sight. "That was cold-blooded murder!"

At the same time, the Doctor yelled "That was murder!" There was a fury in his eyes too.

A darkness had a hold on the two men and now they were both uncaging it. Harriet Jones was in for a world of hurt.

"That was defence." Justified the Prime Minister as she held back her own tears. Now that made Landon even angrier for this woman was not allowed to cry over the deaths of hundreds of Sycoraxians that she caused.  "It's adapted from alien technology, a ship that fell to Earth ten years ago."

"But they were leaving!"

Still, the Prime Minister continued to attempt to justify her mass slaughter. "You said yourself, Doctor, they'd go back to the stars and tell others about the Earth. I'm sorry, Doctor, but you're not here all the time. You come and go. It happened today. Mr Llewellyn and the Major, they were murdered, they died, right in front of me while you were sleeping." He wasn't just sleeping though, but, Landon didn't think Harriet Jones cared. "In which case, we have to defend ourselves."

"Britain's golden age." The Doctor scoffed.

"It comes with a price."

Clenching his jaw, the Doctor continued to glare at someone he once admired. "I gave them the wrong warning." He told her. "I should have told them to run, as fast as they can, run and hide. Because the monsters are coming. The human race."

Landon had seen a lot of monsters in his time — a lot. But he also saw that human beings could be monstrous too. They could be so vile and so cruel that others mistook them for demons that he would be called in to exorcise. But there were no demons. Just the race of man.

"Those are the people I represent. I did it on their behalf."

A hardened look spread on his face as his fury dialled down to quiet rage. "And I should have stopped you."

"What does that make you, Doctor? Another alien threat?"

Landon couldn't believe what that woman just said. The Doctor literally just saved the entire planet from invasion and a third of it from possibly falling from buildings and now she was treating him like the enemy. "Don't challenge me, Harriet Jones." Growled the Doctor. "Cos I'm a completely new man. I could bring down your government with a single word." Now that Landon wanted to see.

"You're the most remarkable man I've ever met." Admitted the Prime Minister. "But I don't think you're quite capable of that."

The Doctor nodded in agreement. "No, you're right. Not a single word. Just six."

"I don't think so."

"Six words."

"Stop it!"

"Six!"

Landon had no idea what the new Christmas saviour was planning, but he knew it was going to be bloody good. He just watched as the Doctor strolled up to the assistant, pulled the earpiece from his ear and whispered something no one else could hear. Then, he made his way back to the others as if nothing had happened.

And so they left Harriet Jones behind to stress over what the Doctor had just done. Saving Christmas, taking down the government. It seemed to be a good day in Landon's books even though he had been invited over to the Tyler residence for Christmas dinner. He had no idea what he was going to do.

AS JACKIE PREPARED FOR THEM TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, LANDON MADE HIS WAY TO THE TARDIS TO HIDE. He had never been big with Christmas even before he stopped celebrating. It would just be him and his Mum having a chill day together and hoping that they wouldn't be called out to deal with any Christmas spirits. So, being suddenly thrown into the deep end, Landon was a little scared.

He had planned to just hide out in the control room but once he stepped foot inside, it seemed the TARDIS had different plans for him. She led him through her maze of corridors and Landon followed without a second thought. Considering how little time he had known the sentient spaceship, he probably should have been a little weary, but he wasn't. He just didn't think the TARDIS was evil.

The sorcerer came to a stop outside a room as the TARDIS's directions ceased. It was open was the first thing Landon noted as he stood outside. But when he peered in he realised why the TARDIS had led him there. Because, standing inside what was an enormous walk-in wardrobe was the Doctor.

Standing in front of a full-length mirror, a shirtless alien took in the sight of his new trousers. And Landon, he was taking in the sight of the shirtless Doctor. Sure, he could only see his back, but from what he could see, Landon wanted more. He did not announce himself and just watched as the Doctor hummed in approval at his new choice and reached for a shirt.

After he buttoned up a shirt, he tied on a unique tie before throwing a suit jacket over the top. Brown pinstripes was a bold choice, but the Doctor pulled it off rather well. Then, finally, he reached for a long overcoat and slipped it on top.

Long coat. Suit and tie. Now that was familiar.

"Taking some inspiration from me?" Asked Landon with a smirk as he leaned against the frame of the door.

A flustered Doctor whipped around at his voice. "Uh, no." He tried, but by the faint look on his cheeks, Landon knew it was a yes. "How—How long have you been there?"

"Don't worry, handsome." A playful smile lined his lips. "I didn't see the good stuff."

The Doctor's blush deepened. "What are you doing here?"

Landon just shrugged. "I was intending to hide away but your TARDIS brought me here."

"She did?" Queried the Doctor curiously. "She doesn't do that very often. Especially not with someone she barely knows." The Doctor straightened himself and his outfit. "She must really like you."

Shrugging, the sorcerer entered the room. "I have no clue why. Most people think I'm a bastard and tell me to piss off. Which is probably right of them because I am a bastard."

"The TARDIS obviously doesn't think so." Smiled the Doctor. "And, uh, I don't either."

Landon nodded gratefully. "Thanks, mate."

There seemed to be something on the Doctor's mind. Something he wanted to say but didn't quite know how. Landon just gave him an expectant look to speed things along. "Would... Would you like to come with us? In the TARDIS?"

Landon blinked in surprise. Now that he hadn't seen coming. "You want me to go with you?" The Doctor nodded. "Why?"

"Because... you intrigue me." Landon wasn't completely sure whether it was an honest answer or not, but he accepted it. "And I think you're looking for a bigger adventure." Okay, that was true.

Backing away slightly, Landon shook his head. "I appreciate the offer, mate. But I don't think it'd be a good idea." The Doctor's lips contorted into a confused frown. "Anyone who gets close to me gets hurt. It's the price that's paid. I can't hurt anyone else."

"Landon." The Doctor said softly, his voice full of sadness. "I remember that feeling. I'm 900 years old, I've feel it often, I still do now and then." Admitted the alien. Landon froze. Wait... he was 900 years old? Shaking his head, Landon refocused. The Doctor had felt the same, been through the same, perhaps Landon wasn't so alone as he thought. "And besides," He said with a comforting smile. "I can regenerate so you don't have to worry about me getting hurt."

For a moment Landon said nothing and just mulled over the Doctor's proposal. He could see all of time and space in this blue box and use his abilities to help people all over. It was an incredible opportunity.

An opportunity he couldn't miss out on. "Yeah, I'll take you up on that."

"Brilliant." Beamed the Doctor as he stuffed his hands inside the pockets of his new coat. "Now, shall we go to dinner?"

A nervous Landon nodded. So, the two men exited the TARDIS and climbed up the floors of the Powell Estate until they reached the Tyler flat. The Doctor pushed open the door first and was greeted with warm smiles and well wishes. And, surprisingly for him, Landon was greeted the same.

There was still a hole in the wall from the tree and the flat was in disarray but no one cared. It was Christmas. They sat down at the table and Landon ate what was the best meal he had had in a long time. He laughed more during that dinner than he had the past month. He even went as far as to put the paper yellow crown upon his head from the cracker.

The Doctor smiled when he saw Landon embracing Christmas. Then the news popped onto the television with the press asking whether Harriet Jones was medically fit for office. It seemed the Doctor had done good on his word and that caused Landon to grin menacingly.

And as the spaceship burnt in the atmosphere creating an ash that looked like snow, Landon couldn't help but smile. Perhaps Christmas wasn't so bad after all.

THE END OF THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE!!!

Every Doctor Who fanfic writers knows the pain of writing the Christmas eps. They take way too long. So, this chapter is like double the size of the previous one because it was hard to find anywhere to divide it.

I already love my boys so much!!! The Doctor hasn't witnessed Landon's magic yet so he's not ready to accept it's real. Also, Landon smoking on an alien space ship in the middle of an invasion is just so him.

Hopefully, the next chapter won't be as long

Thank you for reading!!!
