     ABIGAIL STARK WASN'T BORN TO BE SOFT AND QUIET. She was born to make the world shatter and shake at her fingertips. She was a Stark, through and through and, like her mother so often said, Stark's weren't born to live a quiet life. Greatness awaited them, no matter what path they chose. And just because Abby had chosen a very different path than her brother had, didn't mean her life would not lead to great accomplishments. As a physicist she had dedicated her life to searching for the impossible, to solve mysteries and discover new things.

     However, when Nick Fury approaches her with the offer to come work for the Special Threat Assessment for Known Extranormalities department or S.T.A.K.E. for short Abby is given the opportunity to use her research to study supernatural threats and make the world a safer place. When she accepted his offer she never expected to actually find life in space. To encounter gods, aliens, magic hammers and portals to other worlds. The entire universe and its secrets were at her feet and she was ready to drown herself in its mysteries.

      But in between all the supernatural objects, gods and talking raccoons the biggest mystery of all remained the way a certain archer made her feel. From the day she bumped into Clint Barton her heart had been fixated on figuring out what it was about him that made her question everything. She would never admit it but of all the secrets the universe had to offer, she loved Clint Barton the most.

     CONTINUITY: This story is connected to my series of Marvel Fanfictions called the Golden Age. Characters of these stories will make appearances in this book but it won't be necessary to read all the other books to understand this one, it can be read as a stand alone.

     A LITTLE NOTE: I never thought I'd come around to republishing this story. I've struggled a lot with my love for the mcu lately. But I just can't let this story go and so I decided to give it another chance. I will be rewriting the chapters and republishing them one by one. I've missed Abby and Clint and I can't wait to dive back into their wonderfully weird adventures.  What started as a simple love story between a scientist and an assassin turned into so much more. I'm so excited about this plot and hope you guys are too!

     Note, I did add some elements from the comics in this story. For example in the comics Clint is partly deaf and he will be in this fanfiction too. It doesn't matter if you haven't read the comics, I haven't read them all either, because I will explain everything you need to know in this fanfic. So it's all fine.
