Through out classes Diana found it difficult to concentrate the sun burned too brightly hurting her delicate eyes. unfortunately for Diana, the Professors prevented her from using the sunglasses she had on. Each teacher ordered her to remove them. By her fourth class,Diana didn't bother with using them as she would only get yelled upon. So she discarded the item into her bag.

Using her hand as a shield from the piercing rays,didn't do much but the brown eyed girl was stuck. She had gained herself curious looks from both of the Parker twins and it was driving her insane.

Luke Parker was genuinely concerned for one of his bestfriends. She had been acting unusual throughout the day. He desperately wanted to help. Luke caught up to the dark haired. ʻʻHey, are you sure you're okay?.ʼʼ He wondered, his eyebrows furrowed in a calculating look.

Diana jumped as she had been startled by Luke. Who backed away, frowning due to her odd behaviour. She almost internally groaned. Why couldn't she be left alone?.

ʻʻI'm fine,Luke. Don't worry.ʼʼ Diana whispers rubbing her throbbing head.

ʻʻWhy are you on edge? It's not like you and why are you whispering?.ʼʼ The blond questioned dubiously.

Diana moaned in pain ʻʻssh please.ʼʼ grunting she passes him and enters the history class.

Once seated at the far back of the class. Diana sighed in relief as the brightness that emitted from the sun had ceased to hurt her relief was short lived. For now she could hear each movement occurring in the history class.

From the sound of chairs scraping the floor to students chattering as they took their seats. Including the zipping of bags and the clicking of pens were audible to her.

Almost as if she had super hearing. Diana could now hear the approaching footsteps of Professor,Saltzman.

Diana shifted uncomfortably in her seat which made Olivia Parker share a vexed look with her brother. Tyler raised his eyebrow at the two twins. To which Liv shifted her gaze at Diana as a reply.

Tyler following her direction finds Diana in a state of despondency. She seemed distressed.

Diana bit her lip hard hoping this all would stop. Detecting many stares directed towards her. She removes her fingertips from her temples and raises her head up to find Liv,Luke and Tyler staring at her in an observant manner.

The annoyed girl glares hard at the trio seated a row below her. Noticing the death glare. Luke scribbles something in his notebook and Tyler turns his attention to the textbook while subtly peeking a look or two at Liv, who's quizzical look never faze from Diana's direction.

ʻʻWhy don't you focus on lover boy who's staring at you.ʼʼ Diana snaps at the curly blonde as she cocks her head, gesturing to Tyler who happened to be infatuated with the Parker girl. How? Diana had no idea.

ʻʻD... relax.ʼʼ Tyler advises trying to calm her down. The unnecessary rage that burned inside of Diana didn't want to be subdued but the girl inhaled deeply and closed her eyes before opening them.

She meekly nods in apology to Tyler. Luke smiles at her and Diana musters a feeble one in return. She burns holes into her textbook as her hair covers her face like a blanket.

A min later Alaric emerges spotting a warm smile as he greets the class.The chiming of returned greetings from the students echoed in her ear drums. Fueling her irritation. Diana was starting to get ticked off at the drop of a hat.  What's happening to me? I need a doctor...

ʻʻDiana.ʼʼ

why does the sun hurt? my throat feels like it's on fire. i need to go.

ʻʻMs.Vin!.ʼʼ Professor Saltzman calls out. The magnitude of his voice seemed louder this time.

The brown eyed girl glances up ʻʻyeah?...ʼʼ Diana's eyebrows crinkle.

ʻʻYou don't seem fine,Ms.Vin. Would you like to be excused?.ʼʼ Alaric offers.

Grateful for that she immediately takes him up on it. Diana quickly arises from her seat taking her bag-pack and books. she murmurs a thank you before bolting out of the suffocating room but not before she could catch the suspicious exchange of eye communication between Tyler and Professor Saltzman

As the day progressed. Diana's health deteriorated. From bad to worse in a span of two hours.

She confined herself to her room with the curtains drawn in sheer darkness. Diana had consumed numerous glasses of water and was soon down to her last bottle. Her phone was on silent and tucked underneath her pillow. The slightest noise or brightness emerging destroyed her sanity and hurt every nerve in her brain.

The sound of wood banging surged through her eardrums once more and she clutched her head tight. A scream left her lips ʻʻaaah! piss off,Luke!.ʼʼ

ʻʻIt's me,Tylerʼʼ the person called back.

ʻʻTy,please leave me alone.ʼʼ she pleaded and the boy reluctantly left. It was finally silent now...

Night had fallen and Diana was severely sick. She felt awful and knew she resembled a mental patient, a total disaster.

The nurse figured she had a bad stomach bug and a nasty hangover becoz everything else seemed fine. this isn't how a stomach bug is supposed to feel... and I didn't even drink ugh.

Diana could barely get on her feet. The door opened and Bonnie walked in with a massive smile.ʻʻHoney,I'm home.ʼʼ

The Bennett girl cheerily announced as promised but stops short when she spots her best friend on the floor, her head buried in her knees and her fingers clutching her jeans so tight a rip was beginning to appear. Bonnie rushed over to her dropping the bags of candy onto the bed ʻʻD,what happened?.ʼʼ

Diana lifts her head up allowing her to take in Bonnie's figure through her teary eyes. She began crying harder,the tears rolling down her stained cheeks. In dire need of comfort she lunged over to her BonBon for a hug.

Bonnie wraps her arm around Diana rubbing her back and mumbling
soothing words ,attempting to calm her bff.

ʻʻBon,I don't know what's happening to me. It all hurts so bad.ʼʼ Diana vulnerably begins but the sound of blood travelling through her friend's system becomes too much as she starts to breathe heavily, the heart beat of Bonnie's thrum into her ears. The sound of it pumping blood to her body sounds too tempting.

Involuntarily she's about to bite into Bonnie's neck but,Diana regains herself. Horrified at her actions she pushes Bonnie away from her reach and dashes out of the room. Ignoring the cry of her name.

3 hours had passed and it was now 9pm. Diana had crouched down and stayed in the back of an alleyway but now it was time to return back home. So the girl weakly stood up and proceeded to walk to the Whitmore building.

As she stumbled her way back a girl was passing by with straight blonde hair and blue eyes. ʻʻDo you need any help?.ʼʼ The girl places a hand on Diana's weak shoulder searching her face, the blonde stranger was unsure on how to help hence she suggested that Diana checks into a hospital. ʻʻYou are a wreck, honey. Why don't we admit you into a hospital?.ʼʼ

The only sound,Diana could distinguish were the sound of the girl's thrumming heart which beated with each passing second and each beat played in Diana's mind and ears. Reminding her that blood is been transported through her body. Before Diana or the blue eyed girl could process what was about to occur.

Diana had bit into the girl's neck as a blood curdling scream left the blonde's lips. The girl struggled against her firm hold. She trashed and screamed in terror. Desperately trying to escape this predator. A growl left Diana's lips as her new extended fangs penetrated deeper into the vein.

Hearing the screams and cries of help. A man speeds over and he pulls the now vampire girl off of the victim.

Diana snarls at the man as she attempts to attack the human once more. The man forces her to step back. His palm extended in a surrender manner.

ʻʻHey... relax, Diana. I need you to calm down. It's me.You're going to be fine,just breatheʼʼ He instructs her.

Diana's eyes soften in guilt as they meet with his green ones realisation hits her like a ton of bricks and she stumbles back

ʻʻOh my god! Stefan, I'm so sorry. I didn't. I didn't...ʼʼ unable to speak further,her tears escape travelling down her cheeks in regret. ʻʻHow could I hurt someone? why did I even bite that girl?ʼʼ Diana cries out in distress.

Stefan sucks in a deep breath as he sadly explains ʻʻYou were in transition,it made you feed and now that you have... you're a vampire...ʼʼ

ʻʻNo! that's not possible it's not! how did you even find me?.ʼʼ

ʻʻIt is... Tyler and your friends suspected you were in transition and when you ran off after Bonnie arrived. It confirmed their doubts they were unable to locate you so they called us.ʼʼ Stefan informs her.

ʻʻI'll handle the human,brotherʼʼ Damon appears taking the bleeding blonde into his hold ʻʻshh shh... don't panic.ʼʼ surprisingly the girl complied.

ʻʻWhat is Damon doing?ʼʼ Diana questions as he bites into his wrist and places it onto the girl's lips, she drinks from it and the wound heals.

He then stares into her eyes once more. ʻʻGo to your room and get cleaned up. nothing unusual happened except for you dropping red paint onto yourself. you should be more careful.ʼʼ The girl nods and repeats a part of what damon said. in a daze the girl leaves and Diana stares wide eyed at the scene unfolding before her.

ʻʻSee no fuss,Dianaʼʼ The blue eyed Salvatore grins.

ʻʻNo fuss?! I hurt her,Damonʼʼ Diana sobbed.

Stefan took her hand in his. ʻʻHey,it's okay. you're gonna be okay.ʼʼ

ʻʻNo no no! I'm not,Stefan I'm not..ʼʼ Diana yelled.

ʻʻEasy there with the mid life crisisʼʼ Damon retorts as Stefan glares at him.

ʻʻThat's enough, Damon. We need to help herʼʼ the green eyed Salvatore states.

ʻʻHelp her? nah uh brother I don't think soʼʼ Damon scrunches his nose.

ʻʻI'm not gonna leave her,Damon! She's Bonnie's friend and ours. Incase you have forgottenʼʼ Stefan tried reasoning.

ʻʻAlways the hero, Stefan. I'll tell you what you baby sit while I'll head up to my girlfriend and disperse the saver squad away by delivering the good news which is, Diana didn't kill anyone and is alive. Sound good?. Besides Katherine turned her so she should come babysit the newbie or Bonnie should with all of that attitude she throws aroundʼʼ Damon retorts.

Stefan shakes his head in disbelief.
ʻʻDo what you have to do,Damon but I'm not leaving her.ʼʼ Damon leaves, disappearing into the building.

ʻʻSo now what?ʼʼ Diana asks Stefan.

ʻʻYou're a vampire and - ʼʼ

ʻʻYeah,I gathered that from what you said. You mentioned that our friends knew I was in transition so I know that they are all in this vampire loop. I also know that Elena has a crazy look alike that turned me her compulsion from last night broke. she did this to me becoz she had some beef with,Bonnie. such a bitch! what else is there?.ʼʼ
Diana cuts him off getting straight to the point of wanting answers.

ʻʻI promise I'll tell you everything you wanna knowʼʼ Stefan assures calmly.

ʻʻWhat if I kill somebody, Stefan? I dont want thatʼʼ Diana's calm composure breaks once again as she panics.

Stefan embraces her and pets her hair soothingly. ʻʻThat won't happen coz I'm gonna help you. You are gonna get through this.ʼʼ

ʻʻAre you sure?ʼʼ she searches his face for a confirmation and he nods ʻʻI'm sure.ʼʼ

There was something in the way he said it that made Diana know she'll get through this as long as Stefan stayed by her side he has always been a good friend of hers she trusted him she really did.

ʻʻI got you.ʼʼ
ʻʻThank you,Stefan.ʼʼ
