You had just told Damon that you loved him and he hadn't said anything. Seconds passed and then a minute. The dejection hits you like a bag of ice so you turn to leave but Damon stops you.

He licks his dry lips as they part, his magnetic blue eyes are staring deep into yours and then he takes a slow step towards you. His hand fitting softly against your cheek, his soft lips encases yours and you immediately respond back.

All fear of Damon,not reciprocating your feelings disappears. He pulls away reluctantly after sometime.

ʻʻDo you have any idea how long I've been waiting to do that?.ʼʼ He breathlessly whispers against your lips as they brush together into an almost kiss.

You blush crimson and Damon tucks a stray hair of yours away, you connect your lips to his again wanting more. Your breaths ragged as it combines as one.

ʻʻI love you too, Y/n.ʼʼ The blue eyed vampire pulls away for a second and says it back with a grin.

ʻʻThat's good coz if you didn't I would have kicked your ass!.ʼʼ

ʻʻOooh,kinky.ʼʼ He smirks, throwing you a wink and you playfully smack him in the chest.

ʻʻOomph! You should show me more love.ʼʼ Damon pouts cutely and that's exactly what you did.
