"___? What's wrong?" Law asks as he straddled your lap. You were in Zoro's car again, following the others toward your uncle's mansion. You blink and meet his gaze.

"It's nothing... Law please don't speak in my uncle's presence, if he hears you he might send you away," You tell him. He blinks and tilts his head.

"Okay, but, are you okay?" He asks cupping your face. You blink at him, your nightmare flickers through your mind.

"Yes," You lie, his eyes flash yellow and he frowns.

"I know you're lying," He murmurs.

"I don't care if you know I'm lying... Just... Don't worry," You sigh, taking your face out of his hands. He frowns more and hugs you, tail wrapping around your waist. He nuzzles your cheek, pressing against you.

"What can I do to make you feel better?" He inquires. You don't respond since you doubted there was anything he could do. He pulls back and frowns, looking at you carefully before smirking mischievously and starting to tickle you. You pause before starting to giggle and laugh uncontrollably. Zoro glances over and smirks.

"Fourth rib down," He tells Law.

"N-no! S-stop!" You giggle. Law smiles and goes for the area Zoro indicated, making you laugh even more and thrash slightly. You try to stop his hands but his tail pins your arms to your seat. "Bwahahhaahha! L-Law! P-please stop!!" You gasp, starting to ache from laughing. He chuckles and kisses your cheek before releasing you. You blush and touch your cheek as you calm your breathing. "Th-thanks, I feel a lot better now," You murmur.

"Good," He rumbles before cuddling you again. You let out a breath and ruffle his soft black locks. Zoro smiles a bit.

"Thanks Law, I don't think I would've gotten her to cheer up so quickly," He comments. Law smirks before reaching over and patting Zoro's shoulder. The greenette blinks at the calm contact.

"No thanks needed," Law rumbles. Zoro pauses since he had heard him.

"Alright then," He manages. You blink and smile more.

"You heard him? You're becoming keen," You comment, feeling really happy about the possibility of your best friend being able to see or hear the supernatural. He blinks at your sudden cheerfulness and laughs some.

"Yeah?" He muses. You nod happily.

"I think so, you can sense Law's whereabouts pretty well, and you just heard his voice," You point out.

"Think I'll be able to touch them like you can?" He inquires.

"I don't know," You admit then remember something. "Law, I didn't know demons could bleed," You add.

"We can't, but your grip on his horn made him vulnerable to your punch... That was an impressive hit by the way," He responds. You give a nod.

"Why the horns and not the tail?" You inquire.

"Our horns are what make us demons, if we lose a horn we become ghosts again, and if we lose both..." He trails off. "I'm not sure but it can't be good..."

"Oh..." You murmur, looking at his black shimmering horns. He pulls back, looking at your face for a bit.

"You guessed it was a weak point from that time.... That's why you went for his horn..." He guesses. You give a slight nod.

"___ is pretty sharp when it comes to spotting weaknesses, she's a hell of a sparring partner," Zoro tells him since he was partly able to follow the conversation.

"It's kinda a family trait," You say sheepishly. Law blinks and nods.

"That so?" He rumbles. "That and being keen to the other side I assume." He comments. You glance out the window as the flamboyant pink mansion comes into view.

"It is..." You murmur, feeling unwell again. "Zoro..." You breathe, looking over at him. He meets your gaze and slows down the car.

"What do you want me to do? They're expecting you," He says with a slight frown. You sink into your seat more almost making Law fall over. They both look at you in concern.

"___?" Law murmurs, touching your cheek.

"I'll be fine...." You assure softly.

"Gladius will show you all to your rooms, ___, my dear niece, I'll show you to yours," Doffy rumbles.

You give a nod and wait as the others depart, Zoro pulls into a hug, "Call if you need anything," He whispers. You hug him back before letting him follow after the others. Law's tail wraps around your waist and he takes your hand.

"So, have you been a good girl?" Doffy asks.

"Yes I have, schools going great," You reply with a smile though you felt cold on the inside.

"I see, come along, you must be tired," He says, starting down a different hall. You follow him in silence. Law shifts, he obviously wanted to speak. You glance at him and rub the back of his hand with your thumb, silently telling him to be patient. "Have you seen or heard anything strange lately?" Doffy speaks up suddenly.

"What do you mean uncle?" You inquire with a head tilt. He looks back at you and a frown ghosts his lips.

"Ah, nevermind," He sighs, stopping at a door. "Here you are, sleep well." He tells you.

"Oh, thank you uncle Doffy... You sleep well too," You chime before going in and closing the door. You listen carefully as he walks deeper into the mansion. Law peers out through the door.

"He's gone," He whispers when he brings his head back in. You release a heavy sigh and go to your bed, tossing off your jacket and removing your shoes. Law frowns, your energy had all kinds of bad emotions, uneasiness and sadness above all. The demon crawls in beside you laying down and pulling you into him holding you close as his tail wraps around your thigh. You allow this because his presence made you feel better, a little bit though.

"I should've asked Zoro to take me home," You murmur, turning to him and hiding your face in his chest. Law pulls up the blankets more over you and nuzzles your hair.

"You really dislike it here," He comments quietly.

"I do..." You sigh. He frowns, your energy was making him sad. He hugs you tightly.

"You look.... Really cute today," He says awkwardly, wondering if the words would help. A small chuckle escapes you and you lightly shake your head against his chest. The noise gives him some hope. "You're right... Not cute.... More like beautiful... Or stunning," He murmurs with a slight smile. You giggle, putting a hand over your blushing face.

"Law..." You breathe. He smiles, feeling your energy warm finally.

"It's the truth... The commander seemed to think so... Usually he likes to torment humans," He muses. You blink, remembering the demonic commander. "Why'd you call him beautiful?" He inquires. You blush and laugh.

"I don't know, it slipped... but the fiery colors on him were really cool," You admit looking up at him. "I kinda want to paint him..." Law frowns a bit, green tinting his silvery eyes.

"What about me?" He huffs. You blink and smile.

"Well, I don't have to paint you, you're always here for me to admire," You giggle with a blush. His eyes widen, ears flickering slightly as his tail releases your thigh to wag behind him. Pink dusts his tan cheeks and he swiftly hides his face in your neck, tail still wagging behind him happily. You giggle even more at that.

"Y-you admire me?" He asks quietly.

"Yeah... Is that okay?" You whisper. He gives something like a purr and cuddles you even more, nuzzling your neck.

"Very," He rumbles. He tilts his head slightly and you could've sworn you felt lips press against your lips. You brush the thought away and yawn.

"Think I'll try to sleep now," You murmur.

"Go ahead, sleep well," He tells you, pulling back so you can get comfortable. You swiftly fall asleep, but Law silently wondered for how long. The nightmares seemed to haunt you every night, and Law couldn't help but to think it was because of his presence. He was too selfish to leave you alone though. The thought of not having you in his reach bothered more than it should.
