You sit up after a dream, rubbing your temple. "Nightmare?" Law asks. You blink and your heart skips a beat since his face was inches away.

"Actually no... It was weird..." You admit. Law tilts his head and you find yourself glancing toward his lips.

"What?" He asks when your cheeks darken.

"Nothing," You manage, though your heart was going crazy and your stomach flopped slightly. His eyes flash yellow and he gives you a look. You gulp and shift your gaze. "Wh-what?" You murmur. Law moves closer, pressing his forehead to yours, eyes closed.

"You do feel warm, and flustered... Could it be you were thinking something perverted?" He teases with a smirk. You blink blushing more.

"Kissing is perverted?" You inquire. He blinks and pulls back, head tilting as he looks at you in surprise.

"You... Want to kiss me?" He asks carefully, curiously.

"M-Maybe..." You manage with a blush.

"Have you ever been kissed before?" He inquires. You think about it.

"Is it sad if I say no?" You murmur looking down. Law blinks and smiles softly, tipping your chin for you to meet his soft silver gaze.

"Only for the fools that never took the opportunity," He breathes leaning forward. Your heart went haywire as he drew closer, your eyes starting to shut when a column of red lightning makes you both look outside the window. Law freezes, obviously tense.

"Law? What is it?" You ask.

"Stay here while I check it out.... And make sure you remember your prayers just in case," He murmurs before flying out. You watch after him from your window with a slight worried frown.

"I just got a shiver, are you two... Where did Law go?" Rocinante asks floating in.

"Red lightning... He went to check it out..." You murmur, not looking at him. He frowns at your worried tone.

"___, it's okay, go back to sleep, I'm sure he'll be back before you wake," He tells you softly, touching your forehead. You frown but lay down slowly. Your dad remains there, stroking your hair until you fell asleep.

You woke up to the alarm, sitting up and shutting it off. Silence. You frown and turn on your light. Law wasn't there. Your frown deepens as you get dressed and grab your backpack. "Law? Dad?" You call warily. No answer. Now you were worried. You grab your cellphone and head out, briskly searching the house before heading out and calling Zoro.

'Hm? ___? What's wrong? You never call this early,' He murmurs sleepily. Obviously you woke him up but you were too worried to feel bad.

"Zoro, they're not here," You tell him, worry evident in your voice.

'Who isnt? Law and your dad?' He asks, starting to wake up.

"Yeah... There was this odd red lightning strike last night and Law went to check it out. My dad told me he'd be fine go back to sleep. B-but when I woke up this morning.... I'm the only one there and and and.... I don't know what to do..." You explain panicky, talking faster than usual as you look around the dimly lit street just outside your house.

'Calm down, I'm on my way,' Zoro tells you.

"O-Okay," You murmur before hanging up. You wanted to call the others but they wouldn't understand. It took Zoro five minutes to get there and immediately pull you into a firm hug.

"Come on, we'll go look for them, but we have to go to school today," He murmurs. You nod shakily.

"O-Okay," You breathe. Zoro nods and takes your hand. You search part of the neighborhood before your dad suddenly pops up.

"There you are! Im sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. I knew you'd be worried about Law so I went to look for him but... I haven't seen him," He sighs and cups your cheek offering a smile. "I'll keep looking for him, but I'm sure he'll return to you soon... So head on to school," He murmurs before kissing your forehead.

"Okay dad, thanks," You murmur, feeling more at ease.

"Heh, you really do care about him... I'll find him then," He rumbles before disappearing again.

You went through the school day worried and distracted. The others noticed but you wouldn't answer their questions or calm their concerns. Zoro had a competition so you had to coax him into going. He reluctantly gave in after spending two classes arguing with you. You were walking hum now, looking everywhere and taking the long way.

However on a empty road, you did find a demon. But not the one you were searching for. You stop in your tracks, blood running cold as your gaze met with fiery orbs.
