(H/L) : Hair Length

(Y/N) Pov:

After Christoph went to his room I walked back to the corridor trying to understand the situation. I met German Empire and we talked, well it was mostly him talking to me and I was a stuttering mess but that doesn't matter. After this he assigned me a maid, Like what the fuck?! Does that mean I will be treated like someone important? I don't really care by now I just want to take a shower and wear new clothes it's been at least 3 days I'm in the same outfit.

It was still weird meeting German Empire, it was like my drawings went animated! But if I'm completely honest he's quite handsome, I'm sure if (B/F/N) was here they would clinging to me while saying how much I was lucky to have his attention. (B/F/N)... How are they? How are my parents? I don't know what's going on in my world, where's my body? What if they're thinking I'm dead? Maybe I should just stop worrying and start paying attention to what happens here after all I don't know how to go back.

I arrived to the end of the corridor, in front of German Empire's office was a person standing. A woman. She was wearing a dress with an white apron. Like the others her face was round and gray with the German Empire's flag on her cheek. I approached shyly she was very pretty even if her clothes seemed to be dirty and used many times.

"Uhm... Hello?" I greeted her she turned towards me her light gray eyes widened at bit even if her stature stayed stiff.

"Good morning, I assume that you're the one I have to take care of?" She spoke quietly like she was afraid I'd tell her to go away. My eyes softened.

"And I guess you're the maid that German Empire told me about. But please just call me (Y/N)." She nodded.

"Well then allow me to guide you to your room." Wait a minute, my room? Did he just assign me a room?

"I didn't know that German Empire assigned me to a room." I said shifting on my feet she already started walking so I followed her.

" Yet He was the one. He wanted you to have a confortable chamber as well as someone to take care of you, that's where I enter." She turned her head and looked at me, her eyes scrutinizing my face. I was getting uncomfortable but she turned back and continued walking.

"I apologize for making you uncomfortable, your appearance is just quite unique and even if I was already told about it I couldn't help but look at you" She apologized. The rest of the way was silent, I wanted to talk to her but I wasn't very confident so my mouth stayed shut. Soon we stopped to a door.

"We are here, I hope the room will please you." She opens the door and let me enter while closing after me. I was astonished. The room was splendid, everything looked like it cost thousands of dollars. The bed could fit three people easily and it looked extremely comfortable. My sleepless state pushed me to jump on the bed and fall into a deep slumber but I stood still and looked around. There was a armchair and a small couch next to a bookcase, it looked very cosy.

"Follow me please." I looked back at the maid she was walking towards a door I didn't see before. She opened it and I saw it was the bathroom.

"If you allow me, I think that's better if you take your bath now to rest better." I still didn't register the fact that this expensive room was now mine but I still agree to her, a bath would make me feel better. I saw her leave and come back with towels.

"Oh thank you for the help and the room." I said to her while smiling, she nodded.

"That's my job. Now if you may undress yourself please." Wait a minute what? My face flushed, was she going to wash me? No way!!

"Ah no it's fine I can wash myself!" She looked back at me understanding my situation.

"But it's my job, if I don't do it and come back earlier, I won't have money."

"You already helped me a lot, you can just take a break and rest in the room while I'm showering. No one will know you didn't do everything." I said, still embarrassed at the idea of her seeing me naked, even if I didn't doubt she would be professional. She seemed surprised at my suggestion.

"You... You agree that I stay in your room?"

"Yeah, you can like, sit on the armchair and read a book or even take a nap, it's not a big deal, I'm just not very confortable with you showering me."

"It's just... It's the first time I would be staying in a room like this. I don't get a lot of break, even less in a confortable place." She told me while looking down, she must be even more exhausted than me... Poor woman.

"Then rest well okay? Don't hesitate to lay on the bed. I won't get upset, I think you need it more than me." I said while putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you..." I nodded.

"Well I'm going to shower, I don't know how much time I'm gonna be in it so see ya!" After that I closed the bathroom's door and undressed myself. I put the clothes to the side and enter the bathtub and started running the water. It was very confortable, I had a little trouble with the soap but I managed to clean my hair and body. I got out of the bathtub and wrapped towels around me when someone knocked on the door.

"Yes?" I asked. The maid responded.

"It's me, can I enter? I have some clothes for you." She said, I realised I didn't have any other clothes than the ones I just wore so I tightened my towels so they don't fall and allowed her to come in. She enters carefully and put an outfit at my reach then she get out while closing the door. I looked at the clothes she gave me. It was rather simple but very confortable and also typical from this period. When I changed I looked at myself. I was feeling very pretty and clean with these new clothes even if my hair was still wet and a mess. I get out of the bathroom and looked for the maid. She was sitting on the armchair while flipping the pages of a book like I suggested to her she noticed me and quickly put the book back in place.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't want to invade your space, it's just you were taking a lot of time and-"

"It's fine! Please, if I said you can, you can. Don't feel sorry about it!" I reassured her, visibly she really wasn't used to be allowed to take time to enjoy herself.

"Are you sure?" She asked unsure. I nodded to her. She sighed then She noticed my outfit and complimented me.

"Oh you look very nice in these clothes sir/miss!" I blushed a bit from the compliment.

"Thank you..."

"It seems your hair is still wet and messy... Do you mind if I take care of it?" She asked. I didn't mind so I agreed. She asked me to sit while she brought some hair brushes and combs. She dried my hair with a towel before combing my hair. When she was done I looked into the bathroom's mirror. I really looked like a person from the early XXe century. Fortunately, she didn't cut my hair so I still had my (H/L) hair. I looked at the maid, that's when I realized I still didn't know her name.

"Um, do you mind if I ask two questions?"

"Not at all, what's bothering you?"

"Well, I just realized I still didn't know your name so can you tell me?"

"Of course! My name is Caroline. What is your other question?" Caroline, okay I'll try to remember it.

"Well what time is it? I don't really know and maybe you have other things to do today." I asked her, she looked around and found the clock on the wall.

"Oh my ! It's already almost 11am! I need to go to the kitchen!" She exclaimed. She rushed to pick her things while I was lost.

"Do you know if I have something to do?" I asked her. She turned towards me.

"I have absolutely no idea Sir/Miss. But I think it's better if you stay in your room. At last you will be called for lunch. I'm sorry but I have to leave, goodbye." She said before running out of the room, leaving me, on a chair, completely lost.
'So what could I do?' I thought. I have to do something while waiting to be called for lunch. Wait... Be called for lunch? The last days I ate what Christoph and Berthold could give me, like some bits of bread or something. Does that mean I will eat with people? Like, will I eat with the others soldiers or... German Empire? Don't get too excited (Y/N), you're just waiting for a bowl of soup, not a expensive dinner with the leader of a country. But then, why would he gave me that sumptuous room? I sighed. Too much thinking, I'll just wait and see what happens.

It turned out pretty well until now right?
