"Jewels Adamore, Princess of Everotorn, it is a pleasure to see you." I did not show any fear, even though the Zutorian spoke directly to me.
"Why are you here? Leave this planet!" I said.
"I cannot do that, Your Highness." He took a step forward, his heavy claws digging into the ground beneath him. "High Commander Morgan, I have found the energy source," there was a slight pause. "Yes, sir, I understand. Shall I proceed?" another pause. "Orders received."
"Jewels!" came James's voice, which I ignored. "Jewels, please!"
"Is this not lovely? That human sounds worried about you." The Zutorian chuckled, he pressed a button on his armour and vanished.
Stealth armour.
I closed my eyes, letting the energy within me free. "Whatever happens, stay back," I spoke to James, Lucy, Tom and Nathan.
And then I heard him, the Zutorian's claws hitting the ground.
I raised my now glowing arms above my head, bent down and slapped the ground sending waves of light like a lightning storm spiralling through the dirt. Seconds later, it came in contact with the Zutorian, who released a horrible cry. My energy caused his suit to malfunction and the stealth was broken, he appeared merely feet away from me. Sparks flew from the black suit, which he quickly disregarded.
"You will pay for—"
Before he could finish his sentence, my foot came in contact with his hard stomach. I ignored the pain in my foot from the impact. I flung my hands at his scaly chest and released my energy yet again, it spreads from my body to the Zutorian's. Rays of light engulfed the area. I screamed and then the Zutorian exploded causing a blinding light to consume me and I was thrown backwards.

"Jewels, baby, open your eyes," his voice called to me from the darkness.
I released a groan as my eyes peeled open.
I found myself wrapped in a blanket and in James's arms, he was seated on the ground next to Tom. "J-James?" I groaned again. I tried to move, but every muscle in my body ached. "Where is the—"
"Dead, you killed it," Nathan cut me off. I turned my head to see him standing with his back against a tree. He smirked causing a few dimples to appear on his face. "And I must say that was the stupidest, but the bravest thing I've ever seen. Jewels, you really are something." His green eyes stared at me.
"Oi, don't flirt with my girl, Nathan." James kissed the top of my head while his arms rubbed circles on my stomach. "How are you feeling?"
Looking up at him I could see the worry in his eyes and could hear it in the way he spoke. "I am tired, my body aches."
"Let's wait a while until she's fully recovered," Tom suggested handing James a bottle of water. "What do you think? You're the boss, James."
"I agree," James replied calmly. "Drink this, Jewels." My tongue flicked across my lips, I am feeling thirsty. I watched as he took to lid off and then brings it to my mouth.
I gulped down the water, feeling it slide through me.
"Easy, don't drink so fast, girl, you'll make yourself sick," Tom warned with a roll of his eyes.
James takes the bottle from my hands. "He's right, babe, but rest now."
I did not know why, but although I was in James's arms, I began to think about Jeremy.

Planet: Earth
Location: ROGS Compound (hideout)
Derek's closed hand connected with Mick's stomach, causing the man to release a painful grunt.
"I should just kill you all," Derek growled punching Mick over and over.
Brett tugged on his restraints, his eyes red, as Derek continued to punch Mick. "Stop it! You'll bloody kill him!"
"Maybe I should!" Derek shot back grabbing Mick by his shirt and pushed him onto the ground.
Mick landed next to Brett, blood dribbled from the corner of Mick's mouth, his eyes shut and breathing shallow.
"James is going to kill you."
"Let him come!" Derek's eyes landed on Brett. "When he comes to rescue his precious people, I've got something in store for him, a little welcoming party."
"He won't fall for it," came a weak voice on the other side of the room. "James is smarter than you think and we have Jewels."
"Correction, had. Because by the time I'm done, Jewels will be mine." Derek turned around to face the owner of the voice. "Jeremy, it amazes me how much pain you can endure."
Jeremy's face was almost beaten unrecognisable, purple bruises were on both of his cheeks with cuts across his bottom lip and forehead. He swore he had a few cracked or broken ribs, it hurt to breathe.
"I know his family, so he'll come for you first." Derek knelt in front of Jeremy and touched his chin. The contact caused him pain and he flinched. "I'm going to take something away from him, Jeremy."
"Like what?" Brett questioned, his eyes never leaving Jeremy. "You know, if you kill us, you're going to cause your own funeral."
This made Derek burst into fits of laughter. "Even if James and Jewels manage to get in here unnoticed, do you have any idea how big this place is? It's a maze so unless he knows his way around. He'll be found before he finds you."
Leaning closer to Jeremy, Derek whispered into his ear, "And you'll be dead, I'm going to have fun killing you, Jeremy. Camp Jameson has always been a thorn in my side, with you gone, the rest will fall."
"You're forgetting about my cousin," Jeremy spat pulling his face away from Derek.
"James is immature, he doesn't know how to run a camp. Everyone knows all he thinks about is what's between a woman's legs." Derek got an evil idea. "Maybe when I capture Jewels, I'll let you all have front row seats and watch me have my way with her."
"You're no man!"
"Yeah?" Derek pulled out a knife from his pocket.
"Don't! Jeremy!" Brett suddenly panicked. "Derek! Don't you dare!"
The knife was held against the defenceless Jeremy's neck.
"You're going to be a dead man." And with that, Derek lowered the knife to Jeremy's chest. Pushing the metal blade into his flesh. "Goodbye."
