As you stepped in the bistro with Sakuya, you could receive a cold glare from Touma. You didn't what had you done that made him so mad. Unless...

"Hi!" you said, Umika turned her attention to you and saw Sakuya. 

"Y/N-chan! Sakuya-san! What are you doing here?" Umika asked. 

"I'm escorting Y/N-san home. She was kidnapped by the thieves, so I just want to make her get home safe. But she said Kairi wanted her to stop by today." Sakuya explained in one breathe. 

You were about to say something but decided not to. "Table for two please," you asked Umika. Umika nodded. 

Kairi walked out from the back and saw you. He smiled, but his smile disappeared when he saw Sakuya with you. 

"Umm..hi Y/N! hi Sakuya-san!" Kairi said. 

"hi Kairi-kun!" you said with a smile that melted his heart. 

Sakuya also bowed. Umika then comes back with two cups of water. Both you and Sakuya thanked her. 

"So Kairi, why did you ask Y/N-chan to come?" Umika asked. 

"Oh. I offered her a part-time job at our bistro." Kairi stated. 

"You what?" Touma asked out loud that surprised all 4 of you. Part of you was scared because of his sudden outburst. But you can't really blame him. 

"Oh...I forgot to talk to you guys about it." Kairi smiled sheepishly. 

"Kairi," Touma grunted. 

"You should have told us," Umika said, but she was scared that she heard your feelings. 

"No offense Y/N-chan! I'll love to have a friend to work alongside with me when Kairi is ditching the bistro. Is just that he hasn't told us any of this." Umika explained. 

"It's okyu. I understand." you smiled to ease her worrisome. Umika sighed in relief but turned her attention back to Kairi. 

"Explain," she demanded. 

"Well...Y/N-chan just moved here, so it would be difficult for her to find a job. So I offer her one at our bistro." Kairi explained. Sakuya nodded understanding the situation. 

"He's quite right. Y/N-san, you can come and work at our police station if you need time to find a decent job." Sakuya said. 

"Thanks, Sakuya-san. I'll keep that in mind." you smiled. 

"If you put it that way, I agree," Umika said.  Kairi sighed in relief.

"I disagree," Touma stated, which popped Kairi's bubbles. Sakuya could feel the tension between Touma and you. 

"Touma," Kairi stated, but Touma glared at you and Kairi. 

"You know our rules very well Kairi." Touma reminded Kairi. 

"But Y/N-chan need--" Kairi was about to reason but got interrupted. 

"A 'NO' is a 'NO'" Touma stated. Kairi was about to argue but you stopped him. 

"It's alright Kairi-kun. Touma-san might have his reason. And you should follow you guy's rules." you explained. 

"But...how about your job?" Kairi explained. 

"She can work at the police station until she finds her decent job." Sakuya said to ease Kairi's worrisome. Umika nodded in agreement. 

"Anyway, I have to patrol now. Y/N-san do you want me to escort you home?" Sakuya asked. 

"No, it's okay, Sakuya-san. Thanks for the offer! I can walk home by myself, it's fine." you said, Sakuya nodded and left. 

Touma turned the sign of the bistro to close and walked to the back. 

"Did I made him mad?" you asked Umika. 

"It's okay Y/N-chan! He's usually like that. But when you are close to him, you'll see that he is not like that. " Umika explained, you sighed. 

"Well..I'm walking home then. See ya," you said. 

"Wait, let me walk you home," Kairi said, you hesitated bit but nodded. 

"Walk home safe Y/N-chan!" Umika waved. 

"Bye Umika-chan! Have a good night!" you said. 

"You too!" 

Kairi was walking you home. There was an awkward silence between you two. 

"Listen--" both of you said at the same time.

"You go first--" you two stated again. 

"You don't have to worry about me being sad or disappointed. I understand why Touma think that way." you said. Kairi still looked a bit guilty. 

"Don't worry," you said. Suddenly, Kairi pulled you into a hug which surprised you. You blushed a lot by this sudden action. 

"Sorry. But I'll help you find a decent job." Kairi whispered. You smiled at his kindness and hugged him back. But your time was interrupted by a Gangler. 

"So this is the lost daughter of the Lupin creator huh." the Gangler stated. You and Kairi immediately pulled out. Kairi put his arm protectively. 

"Go away Gangler," Kairi stated. 

"Not without her." the Gangler stated back. 

"You won't have her." Kairi boldly said. You grabbed a hold of Kairi's arm and held on it tightly. 

"Well, then I'll take her by force." The Gangler stated and summoned an army of porderman to attack you two. 

Kairi was fighting in his civilian form to protect you. But the porderman was too much for him to handle alone. 

When Kairi wasn't noticing, the Gangler grabbed you by the hand and started dragging you into the portal along with him. You struggled to break free. 

"LEt go of me!" you demanded. 

"Never." the Gangler smirked, as he successfully dragged you halfway through the portal. 

"Kairi-kun!" you called to get Kairi's attention. Kairi immediately turned around as he heard your scream. 

"Y/N!" he yelled. HE dashed toward you, as you are slowly pulled in to the portal. He tried to grab your hand but miss. So he jumped in the portal to follow you without thinking. 

Soon, Umika and Touma arrived but saw no sign of you or Kairi. 

"Blue, where is Red and Y/N-chan!" Umika frantically stated. 

"I don't know. The signal stated they were here." Touma said.

"Did they got kidnapped by the Gangler?" Umika asked. 

"Could be. Maybe she was the one that lures Red here, so they could capture him. She knows our identities." Touma falsely reasoned. 

"How could you say that? Y/N-chan is not like that!" Umika argued back. Although Touma was older than her, she was frustrated that he keeps being suspicious of you and falsely accused you without evidence. 

Umika and Touma could hear the police siren, so they started to hide.
